As far as I am aware that is called a placebo. Make them think that they have a say. But there are other options. They have a business and that needs reputation. What if players like us start a forum for discussion outside this website? One Google and the others can find and reference. If that forum adopts a too sceptical trend, one can bet that they will start to listen, since it could affect their revenues, when other players become careful to spend.

That I fully share: the better team wins. If I am not part of that team, my congratulations go to the others. End of story. But the point is that the game developers target these unskilled, and some of them egomaniac guys. Incapable of surviving in a fair game and accept defeat, when need be, they sell their drugs for hard money. Nobody can earn so many crystals in one game as they are bluing. Could it be that much of the changes were exactly made for that reason? Could it be that what these game developers call data, were those and not the hull and turret performance? I would not be surprised. Another point I am observing, but not fully sure yet is that it seems to me that fire rate and hull protection vary from game to game. That is something of further interest. Could it be that an additional advantage is given this way to the druggies for that we get so frustrated that the weaker minds then rush to buy their silly boxes, too? You can leave tanki online and take another game or you can leave just the game, where these drug barons appear. Then they waste their money. One point should not be forgotten: We are the game. Without us the game devlopers have nothing.

I could not agree more with you. I find these skilled people amazing. They deserve our admiration. Using a Mammoth hull, I don't have such options. I perfectly know that capturing a flag is a very rare opportunity for me. I am far too slow to get back with it. That I accept and don't use drugs. Mammoth has other advantages. It is each player's choice and that is fine so.

Yes I agree, but the point still is, where is the sportive character then? Isn't it all about having some fun? Or asked otherwise, may it be that some players need this for their ego? There is much indication that this may well be the point. As you mention hammer to which I agree, too, another "joke" railgun has become. It's not necessary aiming anymore, you always hit. That is so unrealistic now. It simply is ridiculous. And that is not only my opinion. The opposite is Thunder, until this so-called auto-aiming recognises a target is more counted in ages, if you survive this long. What about Shaft? I have one. I exaggerate of course, but two shots with an M2/game are all the fun you now have in a 15 minute game, provided that the gun works. The many bugs since introducing mouse control have destroyed this gun. I can rarely use it anymore, since you have to expect any moment that it stops working. The guys behind the game try to be helpful, but they cannot fix it. Very disappointing. I liked the "good old times" much better. The smarter ones win and always when somebody is better than me, I am feeling fairly beaten, provided that was done by cleverness or only with those "drugs" one should be allowed to.

Now having watched and participated in a number of "games" this afternoon again, three things have become rather clear to me: It does not matter, which changes on turrets and hulls were made or will be made. It does not really matter, how good your team is or cooperates. How developed your tank is, makes absolutely no impact or difference. Why? That answer is simple: The only question deciding on the outcome is, how doped a team is and how much money it is prepared to invest. That in my observation also explains, why so many battles end with huge differences in the final score. Results with a nearly equal outcome do not happen too often anymore. - Not long ago, the situation was simple: Most players collected the boxes and tried to make the best out of their skills. - Today no skills needed, just investment in these protection shields and maximisers of fire power. You don't need any skill or tactical cleverness, all you need is upgrading your tank artificially, drive into the crowd, fire around and if need be, you then continuously repair yourself and continue. That way warrant officers even kill high-ranked generals easily and it is of no effect, whether you have an M1 of whatever only, you simply outperform any other tank. My advice to all fellow gamers, don't upgrade your tank, just buy these silly boxes. Forget what you are told about experience at higher ranks, the use of boxes replaces experience. That now makes the game the partner of Tour de France: Not the best team wins, the best doped one does. My tactic is straightforward, I simply leave such battles. And to be honest, nothing against a few of these boxes from time to time, but their permanent use only expresses one fact, your opponent is rather incapable and helpless without these. And if the developers of the game claim that their changes are based on data, then any researcher will tell them that their data is distorted, neither valid , nor reliable,

Thunder too strong??? I'm just coming out of a battle with my Thunder M3 - yes I have one despite my rank and a mammoth M2 with nearly 400 protection. Thunder has become little more than a joke. It may damage, but until it reloads you are dead. My best recommendation: Only buy and use Ricochet. What is the argument? Now Thunder has the same relaod time than my Shaft had before. We all know that Shaft is long range. It has the advantage of being able to precisely spot an enemy long before they approach. This gives you a real chance. That advantage you don't have with Thunder. So, when the enemy is close, you have the same fire rate than my Shaft has, but in contrast extremely poor precision, when they are hidden or above you. Hence, say good-bye to your tank as it was before with Shaft, when an enemy is close to you. Nope, that thing is not working. But it may well be that frustration should make you buy these kits enhancing fire power, protection, self-repair and so on. Has this been considered in the equation? Unfortunately it doesn't work with me.

Interesting statement. My only problem is that I am trapped in what tanki online sold as the promoted "Bulldozer Kit" for a huge amount of crystals: Mammoth M2 + Thunder M3. They now reduced Thunder's M3 relod time from my MU status of 2.22 to 2.72. Having a massive total of nearly 400 protection (present Mammoth M2 MU + Dragon) I am neither quick enough to escape, nor sufficiently proteced against the speedy hulls with their agility until I am able to fire a second shot. In addition, until auto target works it needs much additional time reducing chances further. So, what to do? Taking another hull? I have a Titan, too, the same here. Massively investing in a further hull and upgrading it? No thank you. When I buy something I expect to be delivered, what I bought. Otherwise it is what officially is in the UK misselling. Conclusion: There is no Bulldozer Kit bought, there now is a Death Trap Kit delivered ruining chances for survival in adequate game terms and no more fun. That is no fun at the end.

I was just asked, why I have an M3 Thunder with my rank. Big surprise - the biggest for myself. The reason is simple: I have since the mouse control introduction terrible and permanent problems with my shaft. They cannot sort it out so far. So, I had the problem and invested - very rare for me - real money in what they called "Bulldozer Kit": M2 Mammoth + M3 Thunder. Took quite a while getting used to it, but then they changed the parameters. That exactly when I was upgrading from relaod time 2.25 to 2.22 - for a lot of crystals. Great, wonderful. But there is more: How can it be that battles are open for up to 10 ranks??? How can a Lieutenant with any M1 survive or think to kill a highly upgraded M3??? Nonsense. Evidence? I cannot remember having seen so many results with such huge differences in the outcome before. Perhaps they want to make us players buy these wonderful repair, protection and whatsoever kits for much money to reduce frustration during the game. Fact for me is that the fun is at a very low level. I have nothing against the better ones winning or being killed. If the other one is better than me - congratulations, well deserved. But Was the result of their Bulldozer Kit: M2 Mammoth + M3 Tunder. I was very surprised myself. I have all against unequal battles.

Having tried with my Thunder M3 for two days now, I am convinced that Thunder is the total loser of these changes. Even with a hull protection of nearly 300 no chance. Its long time to fix to a target makes me simply dead with this outstandingly poor fire rate. My verdict is that these changes are absolutely negative and speaking about more equality in battles needs a new definition of equality. Congratulations to all Ricochet and Hammer owners: You are the winners. I assume that the developers or initiators of the changes are big fans of these cannons. This has destroyed my pleasure in the game. :angry:

I consider these changes as extremely disadvanatgeous. For the heavy guns the significantly increased reload times let me have a cup of coffee between two shots. I have now a thunder, to which I got used meanwhile, after my shaft gun suffers from ongoing technical problems for which no solution could be offered. While drinking that cup of coffee I can quietly watch my tank being destroyed by ricochets each time. I am really wondering, where this promoted better balance should be or come from? The increased impact and damage of thunder do not counterbalance the disadvantageous provided at all. In addition battles have lost much dynamics. These changes are extremely disappointing and most of all useless. I am very disappointed with this.
