The Domestic War - Awakening Drew I was just sitting there; listening to McEuan drone on about the latest developments in the government, protocol, and armory. I had no interest whatsoever. My partner. Best friend. High school Buddy. Andy Gregon, was dead. Shot by the notorious J17 gang whilst on a private mission HQ had told me nothing about. I knew something was up that dark day. Andy had been so quiet, had told me he would always be my friend forever. Yet when I pressed further, he refused to answer. Later when he left, little I knew that was the last time I would see him alive. Brooding, I turned back to the present to just catch McEuan say the words, "...to bring down J17" Instantly I was all ears. I turned to my third partner, Asha, a beautiful girl, one of the few who had kept humour in our sticky situations, and asked her, "What's he talking about? Didn't quite catch that." "You mean you were brooding and modding again huh?" "Just tell me..." "MI6 HQ just gave our band orders to find and kill the leader of J17, seems when Andy died quite a fuss was raised. You, me, McEuan, and Company 3 are being assigned to the case." "They never told us what Andy's mission was anyway." "Sss, listen to McEuan, he's still speaking." I was over the moon. Finally I would have my chance for revenge. HQ still had no idea whom the leader was, but Asha was one of the best trackers in the MI6. We'd get him eventually. I knew we would never stop searching till we found him. The meeting was over, as Company 3, McEuan, Asha, and I rose to our feet and started to talk among ourselves. McEuan came over to me and handed me a small book saying, "Andy told me to give this to you if he didn't come back. I think you should read it before the mission starts. Make sure your M777 is cleaned and loaded for tomorrow. It's an early start." "Will do sir." "Goodnight then." I sighed and headed back to my room. The last thing I wanted to do tonight was to talk to anyone. Reading Andy's diary, which I recognized from the cover, would probably only increase the pain of having lost my friend. But I knew I wouldn't be able to put it down, so entering my closet-sized room, I flopped down on my bed and opened the book. A white note sheet fell out, I picked it up and read; Drew, if you are reading this, you'll know that I am no longer here. No longer with you to guard you back. No longer here to laugh and joke with you. But Drew, in the years I've known you since high-school, you've always been a faithful friend. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you what the mission was about. You know as well as I do that the Official Secrets Act, when signed, means we can't tell even our sisters. I've asked McEuan to give you this, because I thought you would like it. There's something strange going on. J17, McEuan, the strange radar signals. They all don't add up. You've got to figure out what's happening. Before it's too late. Your buddy. Andy. Asha I'd gone to bed early after the meeting. I was worried for Drew. He'd really been taking Andy's death hard. It's as if he no longer seems to care about life. I watched him whilst he was talking to McEuan after the meeting. He seems haggard. Worn out. I've just got to do something to cheer him up. People admire me for my courage and humour in times of crisis. But in these times. It's hard. More often than not it's a fake. A put on. Plus there's definitely something weird going on. I trust McEuan. Have always done so. He is the one who always rescued us when the going went bad. When the rebel gangs ambushed us, when the Indonesian government wanted us out of the country. When Andy went out, I knew I would never see him again. He's the cheerful sort, when he feels worried or grumpy, it always affects everyone around him. As I turned over and hugged my pillow, I continued to think. What had actually happened to Andy? HQ either knows nothing, or else isn't talking. The funeral was morose. It was an empty coffin. No body was ever found. I sighed. I had to find out what happened. This new mission was going to accomplish that. I had to succeed. Or else... Andy It was dark. I had no idea where I was. What had happened? I couldn't remember. My brain was foggy, like I was seeing a mist in a mountainous terrain. I struggled with my hands and feet, but couldn't move them. They were tied, cutting into my flesh. It was so painful, searing pain in my head was insane. I shoved and raged, but couldn't do anything in this dark dreary dusty place of despair. What would Drew and Asha be thinking? I had to get out of here. I dragged myself to a wall and started feeling along searching for anything sharp. Suddenly I fell, and hit my head against the concrete floor. The pain was terrible, drat that was annoying. All my training, all the exercises, nothing could train you for this blackness and unknownness. This situation was getting crazy. When McEuan led Companies 2, 3, and 4, Company 4 being Drew, Asha, and me, into Indonesia on the orders of the British Intelligence to combat rebels trying to overtake the government, little we knew it would get this bad. The government seemed to consider us a threat and refused to allow us to carry anything more than a M77 revolver, or the 'Triple Seven' some of us liked to refer to it as. Company 2 was killed in an ambush by the J12 rebels. Leaving just 7 people left alone in Indonesia with no backup allowed in. It was slowly coming back to me now. I had left on a mission to find out about J16. I was attacked. I was now here. It was going to be a long night... Lieutenant and Out.

I've noticed that some peeps are having the same problem as me where it shows an error message 'internet connection lost' when the loading bar gets to near the end. Its ALWAYS happening, whether its full screen, minimized, other applications open, other applications closed, and my internet is still working. Any idea on how to fix this? Or why this is occurring?

Nooo...I can't believe I spent all my 50k crystals on MUing my hornet in the end of summer 50 % sale....I didnt know a tanker's day was coming in which I could buy my dream M2 rail! Then tanki seems too be trying to tease the life outta me and gave me a garage sale for M2 rail just 2 days after the sales....BOO HOO :( :(

Application to join: I own all M1 turrets and hulls excluding hunter, dictator, twins and thunder...I have m2 hornet (35/50) + m2 vulcan. Still saving for m2 rail! I coulda bought it yesterday if I knew the sale was coming and didn't spend all me crystals on MUing during the 50% sale...\ I'm nearly certain its UTC +7. Possibly +8 (I'm in Singaporean time) Um...bit hard to answer! I rarely use Isadia any more. Depending on the battle and players I'm quite flexible. I could use m2 hornet m1 hammer and help attack, or maybe m2 vulcan + m1 titan/mammoth to defend (especially fun if I've got an m2 isadia with me!!) Or I could mid-field with a m2 hornet/vulcan combo if an isadia follows me. If not then I tend to die a lot....final answer = I'm flexible For DM it would be hornet + hammer. For team battles hornet +rail/vulcan Silence is pretty fun, monte carlo is also pretty good. Future is neat! Its really hard to decide. I just don't really like queer or too small maps like Duel Nope, this will be my first and final clan! Cause so many of my first ever friends on the TO forums recommended it! Your left winger was the first to recommend it when I was talking to him in the Homeschool Club, then Abby (Abbodomon or something...) + fordmustag recommended it. ugh...never knew it could take so much effort to enter the VLOG. My 'luckyist' and most epic gold ever. Ever. It had been a long day. It was stormy and raining outside. I'd been playing Tanki with a few online friends for about an hour. We had just entered a Factory CTF. A map I rarely play. The battle had been raging as we did our best to win the ferocious battle...just one more capture and we would win with two minutes left on the clock! Then suddenly.....that magic golden siren appeared on top of the screen. I was wearing my wasp and hammer m1. Definitely not the best combo against druggin' twins and titans. As I raced past the bottom pillar, I saw it. There must have been at least 5 tankers climbing over each other on the top platform. I raced up there and dived into the sweltering fray. To my utter dismay, there were two titans sitting right under on that narrow ledge. There was no way I could get there on time! But somehow, as the gold fell down, both of those mighty dinosaurs were slaughtered, leaving us light hulls left. I was just mere meters away from the drop zone...but then, to my utter dismay one of those gold-magnet dictators was sitting right under it, about to catch it! Ka-boom baam went the thunder outside as time seemed to slow down dramatically. HE GLITCHED! was the delighted thought in my head 2 seconds later. The golden money had gone right through that evil man's hull and was about to land on the platform. Now was my chance. I had long given up hope, but a flame was now lighted in my beating heart. It was just me and a twins-hornet side side by side as we shoved our way in. Nooooo went my panicking brain as I nearly fell of the edge!! In the meanwhile though, that near miss saved my life as the burning fire ripped through the center of my opponent, Evil Mr. Twins. The gold was now millimeters from being caught. A well aimed shot, a crash of thunder, and the Viking-Bird lay dead at my feet. I raced through the gold, exalting in my lucky, yet well-earned crystals. About 400 words, and yes its completely true!

Aye aye cap! Patience pays - just please remember those on the opposite side of the world would like some events in their time zone within 6 months :P

Gosh man, have some sense. Tanki Online has to make a profit or else how are they gonna pay salaries? Devs have kids too you know!
