I'm not sure but I think someone ( Cedric or Hazel ) before said in a live stream or vlog that battle chat is unnecessary for now because when you play from phone, you want to finish missions and focus on playing but if you want to chat and play parkour then use the PC And mobile screen is not really good for a chat in games unless you're going to stop for few seconds every minute or less to reply a message For me the battle chat in mobile version is useless But I agree on the rest
