As some one who does Business Studies GCSE - I'll expalin ;) I don't know what you would call it in this context. but it's purchasing economies which comes under the section of Economies Of Scale. This is when you buy more of something it comes at a lower price - which is what bulk buy is. Wholesalers tend to do this as they still earn profit - and they can encourage a business to spend more money. For example: I pan to buy 20 crates of Coca Cola for £32.00 but 25 crates workout to be £37.00 so I buy that. that wholesaler has earnt that extra 5 quid. They also earn profit as they probably buy the crate for round about £2.40 (The figures are not realistic in anyway :lol: Tanki do this as they allow users to buy an in game currency that has no face value in the real world. This is how businesses like it survive - as the profit levels are out of this world :)

The actual term for this is bulk-buy and is used in wholesalers. The aim is to encourage people/businesses to buy more as they know the price varies depending on the amount. The more you buy - the less you pay :)
