Tanki keeps on tweaking alterations discreetly without notifying us players. This game is ridiculous. I paid a hefty amount for an alteration just to find that it's no longer useful a day later.

So far i've bought 2 new alterations; The first First is "Hunter" for Striker and i quite like it actually, it may not be for everyone but i like how it allows me to hit targets far away that i would never be able to hit with regular aiming. Also, it's relatively cheap so yea i'm happy with it. The second is "Incendiary rounds" for Smoky. I'm actually surprised that not many people have this alteration although it's arguably powerful. At the expense of Critical damage, you inflict 1500 damage in total by dealing 300 damage per second for 5 seconds due to burning effect. This is now my favorite Smoky alteration. What alterations have you guys bought recently and what you think of them?

I can only afford one alteration at the moment. Sorta torn between Dragon breath for Hammer and Incendiary rounds for Smoky. Has anybody tried them out yet?

And suddenly, Vulcan has become every player's favorite turret. :lol: Apparently, this new toasting alteration managed to compel players to reconsider Vulcan's functionality.

I mostly play through the client but I'll see if the standalone flash player is any different. I never knew i could look around without moving the laser, this is actully quite useful. I'm gonna hop onto the game and see how it works. Thanks mate!

I just tried out M4 shaft in the test server, I kinda enjoyed it but was struggling with the controls! I tried both mouse and keyboard controls in scope mode, I felt like mouse controls were a bit easier if the target is moving fast. But there's is a drawback though, there's a significant lag between the crosshairs and the laser scope, which can be a little bit frustrating at times. I'm not experienced in using Shaft, so I'm seeking your opinion guys. Which controls are better in general?

I prefer Firebird without any alterations, I'm totally aware that the M2 alt is powerful, but the trade-off isn't worth it in my opinion. This way, even if an opponent uses a repair kit you will still have sufficient amount of energy to take them out.

You're totally right! You can never play any pro Polygon CP battle today without being ambushed by renowned Russian clans like Bears, Sun, and many others. They actually team up against anyone who isn't their friend hence dominating any battle effortlessly. Same goes for Island and Arena CP, they just hop in whenever the other side is empty. And say nothing of their dirty play, they will do anything to force you to change equipment first so they can change accordingly. That's why i barely play in any pro battles anymore.

I was planning on buying a Shaft and get it to M4 in the nearest sale, but you guys don't seem quite satisfied with it.

M4 Smoky used to have 1.3 seconds reload back in the day and it was virtually the deadliest turret then.

As much I'm intrigued to try out tanki X, I found that it makes my laptop runs insanely hot! It runs smoothly on max graphics settings though, the only hinderance is overheating.

Get your freeze protections to 50% ASAP!!

Freeze is insane right now, 8 seconds of consistent 1000 dps is mind-blowing!

After this update, even M4 Viking with 50% freeze protection won't stand a chance against M4 freeze.

A turret that is able to inflict up to 2200 damage per shot clearly needs no buff whatsoever!

I wanna know more about clan bonuses. In the clan tab, it says that being in a clan entitles you to bonuses which grow bigger over time. How true is that? Aside from free participation in pro battles, is there any other perks?

You're right, M4 Freeze is totally worth it. Firebird is still fine but not as effective as freeze because it hinders the repair kit capability. Once you sneak up on them from behind, they're as good as dead!

You're gonna change your mind after a couple matches. The only upside is that you can deal max damage at maximum range but the drawbacks clearly outweigh the upsides. You'll find it much harder to slow enemies down, you won't be able to shoot at multiple enemies at once and finally, if an enemy is slightly higher or lower then you, you'll never be able to hit them unless you get to their level.

Don't be a sore loser and learn how to admit defeat. It's called sportsmanship, go look it up. *aimed*
