  2. Your post was detailed and balanced. Apologies for only quoting one line. This sentence sums up the entire thread perfectly. :D However, I genuinely believe Tanki are listening to us. Semyon has already said they will adjust the update. Which is very encouraging.
  3. Even 100 % increase may not be enough for small and tiny maps. I just realised that there is already a system for determining the size of a map : The number of players that can join. Use this number to determine the increase of flag, cp, kills cap for any given map. IDEA: CP rounds should end when it is impossible for the losing team to catch up. Like the sets in tennis, or frames in snooker, etc, etc....

  5. Agreed. This is inevitable :( In shorter battles ( 2 or 3 minutes ) , the chances of a late gold being impossible to collect increase dramatically. As the games are shorter, many more golds WILL BE LOST to the score cap, as golds take up to 1 minute to be collected. I am not a gold hunter, as anyone who has played with me will see... but I like the idea that golds give rewards to other styles of players with maybe lighter hulls and not so many crystals from the win. I like to guard the CP and to me, a gold drop = 4 or 5 extra CP points while everyone else rushes after the magical box Because the win is worth more than 1000 crystals to my team ;) Conclusion : gold box captures are being reduced by shorter capped games :( :(
  6. On first impressions, this would seem to affect small maps far more than large ones. I rarely see 5 flags captured in 15 minutes on Highway or Monte Carlo CTF, for example, but these limits seem far too low for smaller maps, and will reduce battle funds earned for skilful players. A different end-win-condition for each individual map (or size class) would seem a sensible adjustment of this update. To enhance this, Tanki could officially classify each map's size... (1) Tiny eg. Island, Ping Pong, Duel, Hill (2) Small eg. Valley, Wave (3) Medium eg. Polygon, Farm (4) Large eg. Monte Carlo, Rio (5) Huge eg. Kungur, Highway ...and have restricted win conditions based on the size class of the map (conditions increased by length of battle) Also, as this update is meant to stop unfair battles due to team sizes, the ratio of players on each team could also be used to calculate the win conditions at the start of a battle. *edited to reclassify Farm.

    That makes no sense. (1) Buyers have already bought, and get no bonus 20K. So buyers are annoyed. (2) Non buyers .... don't buy .... so they don't care. Or are also annoyed. (3) Some might try a first purchase, but they can't make payment. Guess what: they are annoyed..... Conclusion: Update epic fail :( Suggestion: Concentrate on the chronic hacking and multing problems instead. Because they are .... wait for it .... ANNOYING .... I literally cannot find a battle without hackers at my rank -_- and there are no Mods to be found when battles are being hacked. (off topic slightly at the end, but Tanki needs to be reminded to focus on the real game issues)

    You have completely misunderstood my post. :D A box every 10k as normal, but 50k instead of 10k on the fund = 5 x the boxes. With the same odds per crystal gained. We saw it happen. Read some more about probability and get back to me.

    Again, it's a statistical anomaly. You could roll 100 dice and not get a single 6. Not likely, but it happens. IT DOES NOT MEAN SIX HAS GONE FROM THE DICE When 4 BILLION crystals are earned in a day, you get a few unlucky gold drop random rolls. It's not a conspiracy :P It's just maths. o_O

    If the funds increase at 5 x the rate, and there is the same gold box random chance per crys earned ( 1 in 7000 ) then there will be 5 x the gold boxes dropped due to the larger battle fund. ( and there were, it rained gold ) The chance per crys remains the same, so you would not expect a gold box every 2K, but you would see 5 x more boxes throughout the battle ( and we did ) It's just simple probability o_O

    I bought Viking m2 last week, so thats 30K gone forever :( But on the bright side, I used that Viking m2 ( and Rico m2 ) to earn 105 K on Sunday Funday Funds x5 Day :D Love the random unexpected sale !!

    Hello Semyon. I am a daily player and constant chat helper. To address the above comments : (1) You tested the mission on the test servers before releasing them. People were happy. (2) Making the game fairer for non-buyers by giving better daily rewards was a good idea. For a while, I thought I would have a chance in the massive drug battles that Tanki has become. Buyer druggers win every game. We need more free supplies to stand a chance. (3) Yet you ignore what your players want. Why do we even bother completing your polls ? (4) It is NOT an experiment, it's a permanent update. Like the "no more crystal boxes" experiment ... -_- we are not stupid Tanki (5) Increasing or decreasing. LOLOLOL. Guess which way it will go. Ah well, I had faith in Tanki again for two weeks. That is rapidly draining away again. I now have no doubt that we will be completely ripped off when the Unity version arrives. Will the promised complete account transfer still be offered ?? If not, I might just stop playing right now. Today.

    Actually, it's very simple in terms of programming to drastically improve some of Tanki's recent problems..... (1) Put all players who want to play a particular map/mode into a pool, and start only full games with players from the pool. (2) Reduce kick out time on pause to 1 minute, or longer in longer rounds (allow 3-4 minute comfort breaks in 60 minute rounds) (3) Cap pause time to 5 minutes TOTAL in a single round, to stop unpause/pausers multing (4) Leaving early could severely lessen or negate rewards collected in that round, like quitting without saving in any other game. (5) Make daily missions harder, or give "Easy / medium / Hard" option for the missions (6) Scrap the "collect supplies" missions. They are far too easy. Any thoughts welcome
