Let us see how each actor/actress is connected to each other by a single thread through movies. The game begins with a movie title and an actor that was in that movie. The next person names another movie the aforementioned actor was in and names another actor/actress in that other movie. If you aren't good with Smoky, it would be worse with Railgun. The Twins splash damage does have some use to it, somewhat like a constant mini-Thunder. Shoot at the walls near your opponent and still cause some damage. I exclusively used Firebird from WO3 to Lt.Col and it is a fun and simple turret to use.

Firebird is fun to use again since the penetration is back. Magnum is a good turret to just camp behind a wall and take potshots at others with devastating effect. I do have a Shaft-M4, and when DD is activated you are a one-shot killing machine. But you may get bored with camping turrets. Definitely get the M2 alteration for Firebird if you do get Firebird.

If you need "slop counts" in a turret, then maybe you are more of a Thunder type.
