I have two Smoky/Viking alts: the drugging one has a 14.8 K/D, the non-drugging one has a 8.46 K/D. Smoky gets more vicious as it goes up the M levels.

There is something like that. It's called Premium. Log in once a day and you get 2500 crys without any effort. You also get a bit of supplies as well. You get no xp and your k/d is not afftected.

It was probably a jacked-up (MU'd to max) Smoky.

Paladin is an M3 level version of the M1 Striker kit. For Smoky users, the Striker Kit works well with the added armor of Viking. I've used both the Striker Kit and Northerner Kit and it is a simple end effective combo to use. And if the each are good at the levels they become available, the M3 version must be a beast.

Are you talking STRAIGHT M0 equipment only? Is micro-upgrading allowed? Because I am trying to see how far I can get with Hunter/Firebird-M0 without drugging and with no protection. I'm sure at the WO ranks I will see a plummet in K/D and not-so-easy-to-kill players with Firebird protection. However, I should be able to do some damage for my team mates to finish the job. Should be fun.
