So we are "renting" equipment instead of actually purchasing them permanently?

Ah, OK. Thanks. I noticed in CTF that Shafts fight each other on top while everyone else is playing the actual game below. I guess that's why I see a lot of Shafts in Stadium and Brest.

Hot question: Which piece in chess is more important? The bishop or the knight?
Benefactor replied to golden5648 in Archive
Depends on the position. To make a simple generalization, in a closed game where the center pawns are locked, the Knight becomes important (like Hammer or Ricochet on a small map). But if the center is open and there is room (large map), then the Bishop (Railgun) becomes more important. Chess has a dynamic structure, so the landscape may change at any moment. General tip: about 50% of all endgame involve the rook, so you may want to look at that. -

A "job" indicates that some sort of monetary compensation is involved. And being a moderator is not all that it is cracked up to be. Age wouldn't matter, it's the level of maturity and level-headedness. You are going to have some of those days where a heckler is going to test your "mod power" with pettiness and you will lose if you give in and ban that person - you may be seen as a power-monger or "god-mod". A lot of times you have to let the personal attacks slide because there is a bigger picture which you would be a part of. It is more responsibility and balance of being fair than just being an "angry and jealous god" of the pantheon. If you help because you want to help, then do so. Sooner or later it will get noticed. How would I know? I was a moderator of a sports card forum for almost 10 years. I stepped down because time became more of a luxury for me as life went on. But good luck to anyone who wishes to go forward in becoming an integral part of Tanki Online.
