From a lower-ranked account (not stupid, but kinda funny and I wish I recorded it)... MM CTF Highways A group of us when after the enemy flag figuring "hey, they can't get all of us". One of my teammates (Hornet/Isida) got the flag and we booked out of there to the lower level to stay out of all the Shafts range. The enemy scurried after us and we met with some resistance at the bottom of the map. My teammate with the flag was dodging pretty well and it was me and him left at the bottom after the scrimmage. He must have been "turned around" and confused after the scrimmage because then he started going back towards the enemy base. I tried to stop him chatting "wrong way" but he still went. He even got as far as the enemy's cap point but then we got killed by all those Shafts.

This is not true. I just tried this and my Shaft is M4.

Ummm... The only 50% increase I see for Firebird alts is the energy consumption. In the same alteration it says the heating temperature is raised by 100% and the heating rate is raised by 200%. I don't know if that has anything to do with increased damage, but all I know is once you stop firing, the damage increases for the afterburn effect.

Why is 1v1 always have to be about XP/BP only? Why not just "equip your best hull and turret" in a small map chosen by MM? XPers will always have advantage over the non-XPer in an all-XP rules match, but just once I'd like to see an XPer vs any combo in a regular battle setting.
