I think he's talking about the war log. It doesn't make much difference, as anyone trying to research our clan can look at our profiles. That is extremely condescending and rude. Your unwillingness to change any of the terms of the war is extremely frustrating. I'd appreciate it if you didn't stoop to insulting us. Woah woah woah. Stop right there. I'm consistently earning about 1 crystal per exp, so Atlas is possible before Lieutenant Colonel. After that, a 1 to 1 crystal ratio should get me Paladin at unlock. After that, I'll just MU Paladin to M4. The other stuff is long term, as in after Generalissimo.

Now that we have that out of the way, you might want to skip ahead to the actual interview. Or, you could read this last little bit. This interview isn't exactly my idea, the @Night-Sisters assigned the interested parties in the AWC to conduct interviews amongst themselves. I was told to interview BTRB, and that's how you have this... what should I call it... Abomination? Treasure? I'm not entirely sure. Well, whatever. Here it is! Hi, My name is Brendan, and I am a 10th grader in a small suburb of Boston MA. I enjoy playing sports (baseball is my favorite) and playing the cello. History on forum. Blame kirby. I read his article comparing rail and shaft, and I was actually debating between both at the time. I ended up with rail, and that is my preferred/ best turret to date. I started only waiting for the paper, not knowing it was monthly, and slowly started discovering the off-topic section. After reading the paper for a while, I entered in a few contests, lost, and became semi well known. Upon joining the "first batch" of TWG, I became more well known. And then the fall, I freelanced a little and then ended up here in AWC. What the future holds, no one knows. Blame kirby. Kk, I'll keep that in mind. I actually first heard of you when I found the TWG and read your articles - they were really good. Any thoughts on the Tanki Writers Group? There were 3 stages to that group. The initial group was great. We wrote good articles, Darren was a really good leader and is one of my better friends on Tanki. I happened to see it the day it was created, finished the Guide To Attacking, and submitted it. I then went onto Corrosion, opinions, and guides. The first few issues kinda defined my style. Bouncing between informal and formal was where I found my niche. The second part was still great. Marc and PDoX joined, who I think were the best writers in that group. We published semi large issues and I took over leadership for a while. However, this is where problems began to grow. We had little to no quality control. There was really no editing, the only people who edited my work were Marc and PDoX, as everyone seemed to love everything I wrote, leading to a sort of overconfidence on my part for a while. We accepted just about anyone who wanted to join, a couple I regret in hindsight, no names. But it was still good. Part three was interesting. I left around this time to freelance due to a lack of time. Then it all imploded. Fen posted his post describing the flaws and plagiarism. Everyone jumped for cover, people started backstabbing, and virtually all hell broke loose. Some people went on the offense, others left, and it was chaos. I was actually away on a camping trip that weekend, so when I came back, I saw 80 new posts, saw fen's post and then had a sinking feeling in my stomach. Overall, TWG was a great place to start. I learned to write, I wrote some good articles, so bad, and a few in between. We had good leaders, but we needed quality control. TWG will always have a place in my heart. And yeah, I did just write an essay. Habit. Yeah, I found TWG during the whole debacle - that's actually why I didn't join. Did you learn anything from the TWG? What was your best article during that period? The TWG, besides teaching me to write and style, taught me that good ideas can go awry. As seen by le debacle. That formatting is hugely important, as is seen by the evolution of my articles. And lastly is that you always have a reputation. Either good or bad, a first impression is important. My first guide was fortunately well accepted, but others, such as hero_#1_unbeatable, I don't think I can view them in a good light. Best article? That is not hard. Definitely the Guide To Mid-fielding: Part 2. No question. I loved your article on midfielding. My favorite position... :wub: What position do you enjoy playing? What are your favorite combos? Glad you liked the that article, it took me a while. My first love is attacking, however, now that I have chosen XP (spoiler alert), I am more offensive/attack support. Usually going in to flush out a base or grab the flag if no one is there or finishing the capture. I also have founded that pressing "3" before going in makes life easier. I have also grown to like midfield, considering my purchase of Hunter/Fire M2. Favorite combos? I should say XP, as that is what I have, but I like BP the most. It is fun and requires a bit more skill. Besides, BP will just about always beat XP 1v1. My next plan is to either get Smoky M2, Huntsman kit, or Legend kit. Ah yes, XP/BP. The only combos with their own format. What do you think about format battles? Are there any combos you would like to see as a format? Format battles, an interesting idea. I chose it because I was good decent at it. I think that they are good for gaining good experience in battles. Your team hates you, but it is worth it. It also means that there are not annoying Smokies, Ricos or Twins. Those are the banes of my existence. If they become a problem, I switch to Firebird :D. Overall, they are fun, but only when you feel like playing them. Not BT. I think Smoky Wasp/Hornet would be fun. Wasp-Fire was rejected, but that is a fun friend one. Honestly, I do like the regular battles. It forces you think on your toes, not knowing what your enemies and teammates have. I like XP/BP during certain times, and other times I don't. Yeah, regular battles are my favorite too. More diversity, more strategy. Anywho, what are your thoughts on TX, and will you be playing it? Someone else who uses anywho, sweet. I think Tanki X is a good idea, especially considering that flash is now outdated. However, it would force me to restart from 0 exp, but that is fine, as I have used an alt. The graphics update is very cool, and I like some of the new effects. Will I use it? I work off of chromebooks, and unity is not supported. So under normal circumstances, no, probably not. However, if I can get on a unity computer, definitely. So I will, just not under normal circumstances. Ah yes, good old Anywho. One of my favorite slang terms. One of the few I use, actually. I tend to share your opinion on TX, I'm rather excited for it. Like you said, the graphics are amazing. Well, enough about TX. What would you like to see added to the game? Why? I would like to see a new 50% sale. No, but I think a new hull would be a nice change. I don't what it would be, stats, shape/ design, but I think something new to ride would be cool. Especially considering the plethora of the same hulls, such as Hornet, Wasp, and Viking. They are all great, but something new would be fantastic. Hmm... as long as the new hull doesn't fly.
