I don't think it's as bad as you claim it is. It does however perform better on some hulls than it does on others.

So except for speed, Hunter has many things over Viking: ·Better suited for maps with weird terrain like massacre. ·Much better stability. · Better pushing power. · Better at rocking with. · Can shoot over wasp, hornet, and Viking teammates. · Better turning speed.

It has been that way since the stat swap of hunter and Viking back in the rebalance update of October 2016. It's honestly not so bad at m1 ranks and below only because very few players down there know how to hit corners. But once you get to the m2 ranks and higher, there will be a lot of people who know how to hit corners.

I'm very tempted to buy m2 hunter on the 30% sales, but it will depend on how much I'm willing to struggle with the lack of stability for a 50% discount. But once I get m2 hunter, I'll be more than happy to treat my m2.4 Viking as a cosmetic.

But reload time is related to damage.

Or you can just equip it on a sturdy hull, put in as many supplies as you can and go on a trolling spree B)

The damage and the splash of this gun should really depend on air time.

Vulcan rotation speed feels much slower than shaft in scope mode.

Vulcan, before all the changes recently, was so smooth. Now it's as if I don't know the turret anymore. I wonder if the modified firing rate will help with reducing the delay before firing.

But it will make light hulls like wasp and hornet, 2 shots. And if they get spiked, or in other words, get shotted by two railgun at the same time, they're toast unless they have good protection against it.

The devs nerfed the railgun a couple years ago and gave it alterations that are better than the standard version, because it's a great marketing strategy.
