Isn't this the same as transferring funds from one account to another?

This hasn't happened in the past few months. I'm just curious as to the cause. Sometimes props like buildings, ramps and occasionally, the tanks would appear all black. I remember a building that was black on one side while the other 3 sides were normal. Tanks would be moving normally, but were blacked out. Ramps would be black instead of grey. I suppose the bug was fixed, but what caused it?

No one in particular. There's a lot of players on my friends list, but I don't know them and they don't know me. The only time I'm invited to a battle is to fill up the losing team that has no hope of recovery. The invitation can come from a "friend' on the winning team who's tired of killing someone's mult or from a "friend" on a losing team halfway through the battle. What am I supposed to do? Wave my magical stardust wand to change the tides of the battle? Won't even miss a Mod or an Admin. They don't know me and I don't know them. They are there to do a job....period. If they leave, they leave. No skin off my nose.

I think that depends on the people, not gender. Some women don't like makeup and some men want to see what the woman looks like without the mask. Personally, I'm All Naturale. I hate makeup, it makes my skin feel like it's crawling and I'm allergic to a lot of them. I'll put on a little bit of lipstick, very light, just to give my pale lips some color. I have very short hair. No fuss, no muss. So, consequently, it takes me about 30 minutes to get ready, that includes the shower. But I start getting ready about an hour before the date so I have time to chill. That kind of shoots holes in your research. Not everyone fits into the same mould.

How do I go about doing that? Would I have to change my language preference?

If I wanted to play on a different server like ES, can I do that?

I'm mainly talking about battle mode. I edited my main post. I was here when there were all the different servers. Sometimes I would go into another server just to see what types of tactics were used.

For the first part, I agree to a certain extent. Yes, words like "Flag down" "Cover right/left" "Attack" "Defend" and such. But if a flag bearer made a "leap of faith" and landed upside down, how would the flag bearer or anyone else tell the team where the flag is down? At times, I've noticed (myself included) in CP the winning team gets so involved in TDM that they kind of forget the CPs. When the players get back into the right battle mode, they sudden realize that the CPs are the color of the opposing team. How would you say in one or two words "Stop playing TDM and look at the CPs!!"? If you were in enemy territory and saw that the enemy Magnum was between two buildings wreaking havoc on our team. How would you say in one or two words "The enemy Magnum is in the middle between the red building and the grey building"? Some players, new ones especially, don't know how to ghost tanks into enemy territory. That used to be a tactic used occasionally before the merger. How do you explain that in one or two words? As far as the second suggestion, I agree. I'm mainly talking about battle mode.

Some players are angry, some are neutral, others are compromising by learning enough Russian to communicate with teammates in battle. I don't think it has anything to do with time spent, as long as you meet all your responsibilities to yourself and family. We all need friends, so don't ignore them, either. I read an article that stated (paraphrased): It's not the school system that's failing the students, it's the student's failing themselves. They spend too many hours on the computer doing non-academic activities instead of enriching their lives by reading, spending time in a library, going to museums, spending quality time with family, keeping up with current events nationally and internationally, planning for the future and working to achieve those goals, getting involved with the Community in which they live. Socialization (outside of the computer) is declining. This article was very long and went into many aspects not covered by this OP's inquiry. In short, think how life was before the advent of home computers. What did youngsters, teens and adults do then? How did they spend their time? Yes, there were games, but they were geared around real life socialization. Some families had game night every week that included the entire family and, at times, included friends and neighbors. I need to get off my soap box before this becomes an off topic lecture.

I've read that article before. But I can't seem to find anything concerning the spacebar as having a problem. I just read the post you redirected me to. I didn't realize the keyboard in the article was interactive. As I read the post, I see I'm not the only one with the spacebar and arrow keys combo. I'll go back to that webpage and explore it more. I've done some reading about ghosting, but nothing is ever mentioned regarding the spacebar. Remember, I can turn the turret and shoot at the same time, such as with Vulcan. But my tank doesn't want to respond while the turret is turning and shooting. But I can turn the turret and tank if I don't shoot. So, the problem seems to be connected with the spacebar and arrow keys.

Well, come to think of it, it happens with Isida, too. Everything seems to work fine until I get the spacebar involved.

5-6 hours a day?!? Wish I had that kind of time. I come home from work, let the dogs out, take a shower, let the dogs in and feed them and fix my supper. After that, I have 4 hours to do whatever it is I'm going to do (including playing on the computer) then it's time for bed. Saturday, I do my shopping and clean house. Sunday is the only day I have for just me. At work, sometimes we'll have a 30 minute break while the machines are down for adjustments for other products, minor repairs, or whatever happens to a machine in the course of a day. It's during that time, I'll turn on my laptop and get some tanki in (battles and/or forums).

I use arrow keys for controlling the tank and z, x, c for the turret and space for shooting. I can circle a tank and turn my turret at the same time, but if I turn the tank, turn the turret and fire, then the tank doesn't turn. I have to stop the tank, then turn. To clarify, this is while using Firebird and Freeze: 1)...I can turn the tank 2)...I can turn the turret 3)..I can turn the tank and turret at the same time. 4)...I can stay stationary turn the turret while firing. 5)...I cannot turn the tank while while firing, though I can turn the turret. Seems when I add the spacebar in the mix, that's when I have the problem. I'm using the Asus iBuyPower keyboard that came with the computer by the same name. Both are about 6 months old and have kept up with all the drivers, updates, etc.

A few weeks ago, someone else was complaining about the same thing. It opened up a new battle for him, but no one else showed up, so he logged out of the battle. Hit the "Button" again x 3 and kept sending him back to the same map. Still no one showed.

Also feel free to post in this topic suggestions on how current maps should be improved and what featured should be added. Here's my suggestion: I was viewing the maps in the Wiki and none of them show where the bases are for CTF, unless I overlooked them. That would be a great help for new players and to refresh the memory of more seasoned players. Some players have favorite maps they play on a regular basis and others rarely. A blue and red circle on each map would be helpful.

I read a theory once that suggested the people on Earth are the original Martians. We used up all the resources and traveled to the nearest habitable planet, Earth. I'd like to go back in time to see if this is true. I've experienced that, too, on other maps as well. If you find that the team is supporting each other and not you, then it's possible it's a group of friends, of which you're not a part of. In this case, you can either stay and defend or just leave. If it's a losing team, then no question....leave!! I was in a battle on Rio, red team. It became quite obvious I wasn't wanted. Team mates would try to block me from grabbing the flag or block me while carrying the flag, in hopes I would get killed. Several times, I was pushed off the roof or off the platform where our flag was for no reason. It wasn't just one or two, it seemed to be the entire team against me. I finally got the message and left. I figured they were inviting friends to the battle and I was taking up the place of someone else. It seemed strange that no one said anything in team chat nor in battle chat. However, I was in one battle where, shortly after logging in the battle, I was outright told to leave. I inquired why. The response from another team mate was, "Because we don't want you." Another said, "Just leave or we will make things difficult for you." Another team mate said, "Plzzzz leave." No reason was ever given. I stayed for a few minutes, but it was unbearable. I was pushed, flipped, blocked. I left. So don't get too discouraged. It happens and will happen again. If you can't find your niche, then just leave and find another battle. Or join the other team and get revenge. ================================================================================================ As far as CTF Missions, I don't have a specific plan. i just keep playing CTF until I have the required number. But above all, don't beg for someone to give you a flag. Maybe someone will, but it's not socially acceptable in the TO community. Missions don't have to be done in one day. If you are trying to keep up with your missions for the bonus, all you need is one mission a day. To get started on that, I try to do all three missions in one day and claim one. Next day, that slot will be taken with another mission. You have two not claimed, so if you don't feel like doing the new mission or don't feel like doing a mission, then claim one you did the day before.

Personally, I liked the assault map. It was like a 2 part battle...one time you win next time you lose, or visa versa. I was in a few battles were blue won, so it's not impossible. In order for the mode to work, you need a lot of team work, which is why blue won occasionally and red lost. One random group I happened upon had a lot of good team work. We won as red twice and as blue twice. Then half left and the game went downhill from there, because the replacements were playing as individuals and against each other, not as a team. It was the usual "Me, Me, Me Syndrome." I can, possibly, see it working on the Berlin map. If it was adopted for Madness map, I think red would have to be on the bottom and blue up top. It would be very difficult to defend, though. You would almost have to have powerful long range weapons for defense. If AS was adopted, I can see it working as you described as a Clan War. I've never been in a Clan, so I may be wrong on that. As far as having meat on this bone...I think the pickings are slim at best.
