Sounds like all the open battles on his server required a pro pass and he didn't have enough crystals to buy one. If he hit the battle button, would a new battle be created for him or would he, possibly, be put into a pro pass battle? Your rank is high enough for you to know you can change servers. You're not limited to EN, you can go to RU or any of the other servers.

I've wondered about that, too. So, it's like if the game freezes up or begins to lag really bad, I reload the tab. During that time, my tank is no longer visible but my name still appears on the list. Right? But, say, I die and immediately hit pause to go to the garage before I begin to respawn. When I come back into the game, the game shows where I died with the pause enabled and the timer. I hit pause again and I'm taken to my respawn point. While I'm in the garage, am I a ghost or just a name on the list?

There are many things I haven't achieved and nothing I can't achieve. Providing I have...... 1...the time 2...the money 3...no life 4...no responsibilities to myself nor to mankind 5...no other desires but to play TO 6...no desire to eat, sleep, or other natural phenomenons one encounters daily 7...rubbed elbows with all the right people 8...a death wish Anyone know of a good epitaph to put on my tombstone?

I was playing CTF on Brest, blue team. Someone, couldn't read the name at the distance, came into our base from the red side, but his name was in green. I don't remember seeing any rank, either. In fact, he came in twice to steal our flag and got killed both times. Any ideas who he was and why his name was green and not red?

Why are paints rank specific and cost so much if they have nothing to offer but looks? Zeus is on equal grounds with standard Green, as far as protection goes. A Recruit should be able to buy any paint, after all, it's just paint. Why so expensive? Since the paints have nothing to offer, then why not just sell them for 1,000 crystals? Imagine this scenario: You walk into a car dealership with the intention of buying a new car. You see two cars sitting side by side, one is plain yellow and the other is yellow with a white stripe. You like yellow, so your interested. You look to see what is offered between the two cars. In comparison, you see that there is no difference. Same transmission, same engine, same accessories, etc. Strip off the paint and you can't tell one from the other. Then you look at the price. The plain yellow one is $20,000.00 and the one with the yellow stripe is $100,000.00. You ask the Salesman "Why such a big difference in price?" The Salesman answers: "Because of the white stripe." Your answer is: ("I'll take the plain yellow one") ("Money is no object, I'll take the one with the white stripe") ("I'll take the plain blue one for $18,000.00) (I'll go to the dealership across the street.") TO says: "Money is no object, I'll take the one with the white stripe. In fact, I'll take the blue one with the double red stripes for $200,000.00, too."

I don't understand why paints have to be expensive. They have no protection, just cosmetic. When the protection was attached to the paint, that I could understand. Now, Zeus and Forest are on equal grounds (neither have any protection). If you want the protection that Zeus had, you can buy the module and attach it to plain black paint. Why would anyone want to spend 250,000 crystals on a paint that was no better than one that costs 1,000 crystals? The only reason I can think of, is a player showing off his/her (real life) financial status. Why else would anyone want to spend $100.00 to buy something that has no value when you can get the same thing for 1,000 crystals that you have saved from fighting battles and grabbing an occasional Gold Box? My second question is, if paints have no protection and all are equal, then why are they rank specific? When you bought a paint, you were actually buying the protection that went with it, not so much what it looked like. So, with all things equal, why can't a Recruit buy Pixel for 1,000 crystals? The Pixel paint has no more protection than the standard Green paint. In fact, that Recruit doesn't have to buy any paint at all for the entire time that person plays TO, just buy the module. It's obvious TO is hoping the players will go deeper in debt with the credit cards. Other than that, what's the purpose?

TO will be here for a while longer. Customer support may go up and down, but TO will not go down that easily. I will venture to say, even after TX is up and running full swing, TO will still be around and still have a following.

And Russian, too. Plus a myriad of other languages.

I've been in battles, as most have, where one team drugs continuously, and the other team doesn't. My observation of this game, is not the skill that is put forth by a team that wins the battle, but rather which team has the most druggies. My personal take on this is, those who have to drug as much and as fast as they can, have weak weapons and weak tanks. Meaning, they have spent their hard earned money (or those of their parents) on drugs and not so much on the upgrade of their weapons and tanks. I've seen big tanks with big weapons absolutely destroy the other team. But if you can catch them in between drugs, they are like butter in a hot pan. In killing them, you may take a few weak hits, but they are easy to take down. I've seen the suggestions many times to join Pro battles. I would, if it didn't cost 500 crystals. I'd rather spend my hard earned crystals on upgrades and a few supplies to use against other supply users. I don't put money into any game, I use that for everyday survival. Would I play this game if I had to pay to play? Absolutely not. In games where you have a choice, it becomes a battle between the have's and have not's.

If this was implemented, I can see where one person on the team could orchestrate their team's movement to an unfair advantage. The only way it could be kept fair is if the bird's eye view showed the structure of the map only (Blind Map). Example: placements of the buildings, bridges, holes, islands, etc. and maybe the placement of the flags and CP zones without showing any tanks at all. Another unfair advantage would be if you are playing 1 vs 1. You could take a bird's eye view of the map to see where your opponent is.

I know that. But it happens even in between cleaning my cache. I thought maybe it happens when there is an update to the game.

Please read my original post. I said, "This is a private hardwired PC and no one else has access to it." I do not have a laptop, I have a desk top Personal Computer. It is plugged in to a cable provider, making it hardwired. I do not use Wi-Fi or any other such connections. This incident doesn't happen every time I log in, just occasionally.

Plus, the forum gods want to make sure you have enough TO experience, observed other players, learn the mechanics of the game before you try to give advice or ask questions that would have answered themselves with personal experience. The only way to do that is to play enough to get your rank up. The extra time will prevent you from being labeled a "NOOB," "TROLL" or being called other such names. In the meantime, you may not be able to post, but you will be able to read the other forums and use "search" to have your questions answered.The more you play, the faster you will rank up. I use Firefox, everything is unchecked except in-game notifications, drop zones and chat. But sometimes when I log in and try to play everything is in the red. I'll go to my settings and everything I had unchecked is checked. I uncheck them and things are ok again. I clear browser history at least once a week and cookies about once a month or every two months. I use my computer for other things besides gaming and cookies can clutter a computer. I want to know how and why my settings change.

I'll be playing TO and everything is working fairly well. Then the next day, the ping and fps are in the red. I go to settings and nearly everything is checked. I only check notifications, drop zones and chat. How and why do my settings change? This is a private hardwired PC and no one else has access to it.

Question: It was stated that if the losing team has 50% less players than the winning team, the early termination timer is triggered. If there is a 2 player per team battle and one of the players leaves, does the early termination timer still activate? I have seen it happen many times, especially in CTF, when everyone on the losing team leaves, a tank will log into the battle, but is never seen, never logs out (or is logged back in several times, but, again, never seen) and never destroyed. I don't know why this happens so often, but it can be an advantage for a small team battle so the winning team can get full battle fund. Is there anything in this update to prevent this from happening?
