Should I exhaust my crystal supply during tanki's birthday by getting railgun m2 and compact tanks firebird m2 alteration? I've got around 160k, not sure whether I should save for m3s or buy some equipment on 50% sale. It might be a year until there's another 50% sale. Just be me and fail 2 classes per semester, most schools only expel you if you fail 3 classes per semester.

About a month ago. My own application took about a week. Normally, the application is done in 2-3 days. One time I actually just joined a battle and spawned right next to the goldbox drop zone on the corner of the map (that was before you could see where the goldbox drop zone was from far away), so I just pretended to be afk and took the gold when it dropped. Easiest gold ever, also extremely lucky because if I spawned, say, a few meters away, I would've missed the gold.

LIES!!1!one!!!111! I get plenty of golds with viking (no supplies no drops), mainly because no one stays alive long enough for them to take the gold. But it's definitely possible to get gold as a viking against dictators. Btw, nice article. You are completely wrong about twins + light hulls, however. Use a circling tactic, similar to firebird or freeze. With twins, you don't need to circle too closely due to twins impact force + slight movement being enough to knock off aim.

Twins is still ridiculously op, just don't ram people now... I mean it's not even that hard to not ram people, moving backwards + twins impact force does the trick. In fact, splash damage was a huge BUFF to twins, if you go by my word (which you should :P ). Twins can damage multiple enemies at once now, and viking m2 is objectively superior to dictator m2 (watch me just get ALL the hate for saying this). On the other hand, firebird with compact tanks alteration can kill more people in a shorter amount of time, and works in maps with lots of cover (twins and vulcan are trash in those types of maps). Dictator also works well with firebird, and dictator firebird practically guarantees you golds in no drug no supply battles. Just roast everyone near you, and there's no such thing as long range high enough dps to kill you in the 5 seconds you will need to pop out of cover and roast everything + take gold. But if still can't decide what to buy, I say: buy NONE of those, don't go for any other of the kits you listed either. Atlas + anaconda is repetitive, and mosquito doesn't synergize well with the m2s you have (unless you plan on buying firebird m2 after you get mosquito). Buy stinger kit, firebolt kit, or fireworks kit. Stinger kit is good because isida is extremely powerful right now (just look at the dps!) and it is good anywhere because if the map isn't suited for vulcan to work, you can heal people with isida. Firebird is really good for reasons above, and hammer is epic for maps with cover, especially since the developers let the pellets ricochet once. All of those kits also come with a good module and a cool looking paint, and most importantly, a good turret and hull combination for you. Something else you should consider: you could buy m2s without a kit. If by the time you reach the rank required for the turret/hull/module you have in mind, don't buy a kit. It's much better to buy them on 50% sale.

I would say minotaur or firewall so you don't die close range. Twins and fire m2 are op.

I wish that someone dropped golds for me too, and I think I'm happy getting 31 golds using (almost exclusively) viking and hornet. I find pro battles (no supplies no drops) easiest for golds, use viking firebird and roast all the potential gold takers, and then take the gold for yourself :P Everyone calls me a noob for killing during golds though :(

Hmm, noob camper hy6 no skills can't aim nice shafting skills. I personally could never use shaft well because I hate not being able to see what's going on around me, and arcade shot spam gets outclassed by smoky. You might like smoky if you just use arcade shots, though a full scope probably was really effective against the druggers you faced. Just wondering, how did your aim not get knocked off like the roof of a house during an EF5 tornado?

Hornet m3??? How??? Go ahead and upgrade it all you want, it's an m3. And no, it's not the same price as buying it outright. It's more like buying a turret + hull with 10% off and getting a module and a paint for free. If you want to micro upgrade something to the next modification, either shell out some money or don't spend any crystals from now on. Btw... can the crested finish on deciding whether @DarkDeath_GTO enters the clan? I invited him because he was a solid player from TM, his application is about 5 pages back.

Don't go past two unless you have the pocket change to try and get an m3 before anyone else at your rank does. It would mean that you can spend exactly 0 crystals on things other than the thing you are micro upgrading. IMO you should just save up crystals and go for a solid m3 kit at lieutenant general.

Don't, wait for 50% off sales. Anything that costs more than 50k isn't worth getting unless it's at least half off... did you know that once upon a time, tanki wasn't greedy and did a 60% sales on everything? If you insist on ranking, I need to rank too, though for different reasons. I just really want to get to lieutenant general so I can buy some OP kits. OH DANG YOU'RE SMART (I hate people who do this... and I hate the people who accept them even more.) ^ Viking m2 and wasp m2 are objectively the best m2 hulls. Titan m2 is also on par. Dictator is the beggar's version, the only place where it has a small advantage is catching golds. Don't buy firebird m2 on 30% off. You can buy railgun m2 if you really want to because you might want access to XP/BP battles ASAP. However, this sale is a good time to buy alterations if you have any that you are interested in.
