    XT-Skins, Drones, Balance Update

Thank you. I find Vulcan is caught in nevernever land at times. For the only turret that does as much damage to itself as others at times (yeah I know stop firing, just let twins etc keep hammering you :/) Vulcan should be one of the nastiest out there. I'm already penalizing myself when I pull the trigger. You can fight at range, but have to stop, you can fight up close but have to stop, you can fight at medium, and , have to stop, and other turrets have seem to have more wrecking power, at long (magnum, shaft, rail, they do) medium (magnum, shaft, rail, even close with thunder, debatable, I have trouble with it, etc) and up close (Isida, magnum, rail, hammer, thunder, twins, fire,(least problem with this) and now freeze etc) I'm not a really camp player, don't want to have to depend on the kindness if Isida to keep me alive. Every run for me is nothing more than how to self destruct, they will die or I will, and going after the problem tanks on the other team. I pull on the trigger don't let off, sometimes get a bit of repair from random Isida, but for the most part it's let it fly. Not going to run for an airconditioned bluff and chill a bit.

It'll probably be my most crucial target now. You can dodge a long range Magnum shot. At least can deal with Freeze at range.

    XT-Skins, Drones, Balance Update

Glad to see someone else who doesn't care about their K/D ratio from time to time. It's about getting a team win. I'm not going to "camp" at range with Vulcan if it is ineffective against Mammoth Shaft/Magnum. I'll leave the sniping to any similiar tanks on my team and go after the "problem". Goes for Isida trains too. I'll do some driveby shooting at tanks with speed boost on, but my main goal is to get to the "problem". I just feel that this is more about "stats" than an actual problem. Sometimes you just have to take one for the team even it if means turning something into a chaotic trainwreck. Btw I have no problem with the "campers", but if I get close enough to a heavy tank with Shaft snipe on, or can get broadside or behind Magnum, it's game on, double damage here it comes, and my Hunter is mobile enough to cause problems and I won't stop. And if I'm not dealing enough immediate damage, I will "nudge" you off target lol. Magnum is like a magnet to me, if I can take the first shot, I'm getting behind/alongside it. I can see the lighter tanks trying to 'ram' an Isida train not being effective. What is going to happen now when Isida and Freeze do get a hold of your spawn area? Ugh. Doubt that the "respawn drone" is going to help a lot. (Personally have 2 drones, can't be bothered to use them, tanki is getting too weird with "special attacks" it's a tank game.) I think it's game over, better have a lot of heavy and immobile armour laying down barrages.

I don't really care about my K/D ratio so just drove my tank in between 2 Isida's to break the "chain"'. I usually died, oh well, it's not like I died for real, If a teammate sees that they usually targetted the end, chain broken. Personally didn't see the need to nerf Isida. And I'm a Vulcan user. Used it like close combat fire/freeze to 'break chain'', it was a tactic, it could be beaten without TO doing this.

    Bugs and Glitches Reports [Closed]

Same, ever since this latest update, I am in game, pop up comes on, there was an error, Ok/Reenter game. Blank space on map where I should be after this message, I can overdrive tanks riding by me, but I sit there like a ghost. At least 40-50% of the battles I am in end like this, it's crap.
  7. Don't know if you played Runescape, but it was a cool place at one time. Some nights easily 100K online. You could become member ( and make cash way more easily in members worlds or just play F2P (free to play) without the fancy weps members had.) I went members for a stint to get to slay dragons to get blue Dragon hides to sell for $$$, so I could buy cool stuff. It was the fastest way to make RS dollars(like tanki crystals). Once you went back to regular worlds tho, all the fancy weapons you had there were not allowed. You could stay and fight in members if you wanted. Runescape still made their money off me, but it was a more willing choice to go members worlds. Slaying dragons was usually done by ranger, but I had honed that skill almost exclusively in F2P killing ice giants, and giant cockroaches, slogging it out for hours on end. Or head out into "wildy" (the wilderness) in F2P, to get to clan wars, hope you didn't get caught by a revenant on the way (hyper powerful dead spirits lurking in the wild), and if you did, hope somebody would pray over your grave until you could respawn and claim your stuff. only way you could fend some of those things off was to have a group of you attack it with various skills, magic, ranged and melee, keep it off balance and eventually destroy it. (A strategy) Once at clan wars, it was game on, simple battles where mage could light up a warrior, rangers usually sniped out the mages, and warriors could dice up the rangers. This was known as the combat triangle, you couldn't load up with any one of the combatants, IE the brute strength of melee to say defeat the "fluffy mages". Mages would bind, snare and light you up with earth/fire/etc blasts. The armour of melee was just like a lightning rod for spells. (not unlike FREEZE here wiping out a Mammoth, only it was done at range) However the effectiveness of mage(Freeze equivalent) in Runescape was diminished by what you wore. If you put on a ranger gear it dropped your magic effectiveness and likewise melee armour. It worked well without goofy nerfs of skills and "new and improved" special attacks. There was a definate strategy. (Just like tanki had strategy,) now it's just complete chain missions, buy drugs, go into battle to complete chain missions to buy drugs. You don't complete chain missions(not very easily unless you do have drugs) because you have to keep hyperdrugged to keep up. If it goes to hull overdrives, it's going to be more button mashing, oh no, he nullified my hull overdrive with his overdrive, thank god my regular overdrive has cooled off I can activate it. But I'm out of batteries for my drone, and they have a credit card. Lol.... Glad I bought a lot of supplies grinding out chain missions because eventually someone is going to nullify my overdrive again and my hull overdrive only nullifies theirs, I'm not cooled down to activate supplies and here comes somebody else with regular overdrive, and a batteried up drone. Who has time to flank anybody? (There was a time not too long ago I went "wow I've used 1700 of each battle supply? that's a lot". Lol, now I'm at 60K mostly since overdrive because it's do missions, get crystals buy supply kits and stay stoned. Mind you it's for 1400 hours of playing.) In Runescape you could just chill by the lava pond in the 1 vs arenas with some friends. A lvl 68/126 would eventually walk by and try it. (126 was a maxed out player, mine was 118/126 3 years of play) It usually ended with a rune arrow, or 2handed rune sword 1 hit. and an " Ugh "as the player fell and faded out of the arena. And a "lol" from your friends. But that is what training meant, more often than not, they swatted you and they died. There was actually time to lol in battles, I haven't logged in to Runescape in at least 3 years since they went the way of buttonmashing "special" combat skills. It was the simplistic art of battle in Runescape and for lots Tanki that gave it appeal. They turned it into a button mashing zoo.
  8. I pretty much feel the same. I hated overdrive when it came in, still not a fan of it. I used to play a game called Runescape, it was a midieval game, whereby you built up your character whether by mage, ranger, or warrior. And went to war with either a 1vs1 scenario (PK mode|), or clan wars. The simplicity of the game made it immensely fun. Then Runescape introduced New slam bam, whoop, zing zang skills/ keys to hit. It wiped out the fun, it simply became a game where you mashed keys to get that "super duper magic lasso electric stun thing" It really relegated my skills I spent hours, well days in cumulative hours building up, to nothing, by a bunch of "superabracadabrawoot skills" 96/100 warrior, 93/100 mage and 96/100 ranger was getting owned by far less skilled after spending hours honing skills in all three to defeat other combatants. Tanki is/was fun because of the strategy, you can choose to be the rabbit, you can chose to be the wolf. Or the viper that lurks in the shadows. Having a game that is dependant on "drugs" ( and drones are just an extension of 'drugging' ) is going to send it down the path of Runescape, making it a game no longer fun or even tolerable to play. If you have to keep up with "drugging' to even compete I would suggest maybe servers that can set parameters to 0 drugs. Let players just play. I think you can in Pro etc right now , just not sure about regular battles.

    Funny/ Odd Garages.

I've spent all I've made on my hull/turret, and my paint of choice, I wasted too much of it on Electra which I never use. I would probably be close to my M3 Hunter if I didn't. But then again no, I would just be close to Mu'ed and still not be able to afford the hull. It's cost all I've made to get this far, only other way I see is to pull out the plastic. I don't like the MU's where you have to upgrade all at once now, before I could have maxed one I think and get a discount on M3 (fairly new player correct me if I'm wrong). Now it's like upgrade the lvls I really don't want and try to make crystals faster or plod along forever.

And the point of this post is? It's the combo I like, usually in close combat, and haven't spent one dime on crystals. Don't have the $$ to buy my way to max MU's and hulls and paints
