  2. That's why I was up late writing this. Always willing to sacrifice a bit of sleep to get the news while it is "new"s. :P Agreed, I'm a pretty big fan of it too. :D

Tbh I don't know if I should call them "new" or "old". Because to most of the players below General probably, its a new map. But to a lot of Generalissimos and some inactive peeps its an "old" map. So I think the majority has never seen it b4, so I'll say "new". FLASH FLOOD: A Review of Deck-9, Magadan, and Canyon

FLASH FLOOD ISSUE 1: A Review of Deck-9, Magadan, and Canyon Heyyyyy! Please to see y'all still read my articles! Anyways.... I digress. So many people know me as a "selective procrastinator". This is one of the few situations where I'm not selecting to procrastinate, and I submitted this article approximately three hours after the server restarted, with about an hour to write it. Sometimes you need to get the news out fast, hence my new brand of article: Flash Flood! From here you can expect the low-down on the brand new updates and edits, as soon as I can write them. Let's go ahead now and take a look at the previously extinct and now resurrected dinosaurs maps: Deck-9, Magadan, and Canyon! Deck-9 This map is one of the best options if you are looking for unique gameplay. Three ramps lead upwards onto balconies underneath a train station. These ramps are extremely exposed to enemy fire from the Red team, who also has spawn points on the ramps and balconies. However, the Blue team can fairly easily control these to their advantage as well. The Red flag is out in the middle of some railway tracks, while the Blue flag is hidden in a tunnel chamber located under the house. The chamber is shown below. As you can see, there are three entrances and three exits. One can enter from above, through a hole in the lower balcony tier, or enter through the two side entrances. There is an extra exit, seen to be on the left of the flag in the diagram above, that cannot be entered from the outside. Overall this map provides a fairly positive gameplay experience with balanced teams, but can fall apart quickly to drug wars due to the close combat and intense gameplay. I've heard from most people that it also holds a really nice Xp/Bp match, on account of the ramps and tunnels being really cool obstacles to play around. Of course, the longer that we have this map, the more we are likely to discover about it. Magadan Magadan bears extreme similarities to the map "Garder". It hosts a 4v4 battle, alike to Deck-9, and actually provides a similar battle feel. The map Magadan has four distinctive large ramps in the center of the map, reminiscent of the Garder map's tunnels. The two flags are positioned on platforms on the opposite sides, which is fairly standard positioning for a map. Several stone barriers are places around the field. Overall I believe it has fairly drab gameplay normally, as it has a fairly basic playing field and very few noteworthy features. However, Magadan has extreme potential for an Xp/Bp map. I tried a match of Xp 1v1 on this map with a friend, and overall it had a very nice feel. Hopefully, this map becomes popular as a choice for 1v1 matches, as it is easily as good as Zone, Sandbox, or Garder for Xp/Bp 1v1 battles. It would make a respectable choice for a 4v4 Xp/Bp match too, as well as 2v2 and 3v3. Canyon The Canyon map has an incredibly distinctive appearance. Similar to Opposition crossed with Novel, this map provides dynamic gameplay at many different height levels. The map supports turret uses of all kinds: Long ranged weapons such as Shaft can shelter behind walls or within the warehouse at the highest point, while short ranged turrets such as Freeze can rule supreme within the cramped quarters of the ruts in the ground. The Blue flag is contained within a small ditch contained in one corner, while the image below displays the location of the Red flag. A small tunnel system is contained below the Red team area, with both entrances as seen above. A small chamber with only one entrance is directly below and behind the Red flag, and can be fallen into via a hole. This could be a tad annoying for tankers attempting to make a flag run, but provides an interesting and dynamic gameplay. The funny thing is that it can also be used to the team's advantages: One can easily jump into the tunnels from above to make a quick exit from the Red Base without being exposed to enemy fire. I would say that Canyon is easily my new favorite map, triumphing over Noise, due to the interesting ramp combinations, tunnels, elevated ground, and a fairly nice theme. It has a very scattered feel, alike to Solikamsk, but with some studying it can be mastered. Conclusion These maps all feel like fitting re-additions to the Tanki game. I apologize for the slightly less appealing formatting for this article, and for the shorter bits of writing. After all, there was only so much to write when I've only been in five battles of each map and when the maps have only been released for about three hours. I hope you all have an awesome time exploring and playing on these quirky new maps! See you all later! Other Pieces by Blackdrakon30

Omg omg omg so here's the low-down on new maps. Deck-9 is weird. Magadan is pretty much a better Garder. It has hilly ramp things instead of tunnels, and no outer edge that you go on. There are still little grey walls that are pretty common. Canyon is my new bae. This map is sooooooo good. <3

 Thanks for the advice. I think I'm prolly going to go for Smoky M2, since it would go well with both Mammoth M2 and Viking M2. I feel like I need XpBp less since I'm not too helpless at Xp/Bp because I've trained against one of my M3 friends using my Hornet M1, and whenever the test servers are on I play Xp/Bp. :D

Not really anything except multing around. And happy birthday m8! I'm pretty sure Sagittarii is a term in Latin meaning "Archer". :P  Also, welcome back to the world of the living. My wallet is so smol that it can't get hurt any more. On a side note, when I can next afford it, do you guys think I should purchase Smoky M2, Hornet M2, Wasp M2, or a protection module? Smoky would fill a turret gap that I don't have filled right now, Hornet or Wasp M2 would let me play Xp/Bp and participate in more clan format battles, and I really want a protection module for Thunder soon. My best one right now is Metallic.

Such much crystals spent.  Cool name though.
  10. Decent. I will say that the formatting is pretty nice, despite all the bright white text being a bit hard on the eyes.

I don't recommend it. Railgun M2 is good, but its unlocked so soon after Rail M2 that you might as well just wait, or save for some other turret around that unlock area like Thunder M2. I would say that I'm pretty intelligent, but my main issue is that I don't have time to go do forum puzzles and whatnot. Besides; those use more of observation skills and pattern-spotting capabilities rather than raw intelligence. Ikr I was gone for one school day and 50 notifications. -_- Yes everyone is prolly older than you. :P Btw, I used yellow mostly because it helps distinguish what I wrote when making large multiquote posts. Otherwise everything looks very grey and it is more difficult to read. Also, happy birthday @Mistalee! :D

 Also, does the clan get a cookie if we get to 1000 pages? I think only two other clans have more posts than us. Not sure.

You know, time zones are in columns. So all those people "In Pakistan" could also be in any country section contained within the timezone column. Additionally, a lot of countries in that area have high populations. Finally, how the heck should they know? Its called a coincidence prolly, unless they all know eachother outside of Tanki.

    Hunter's Story

It was well written, although the words weren't spun from gold or anything.... But I truly loved this story. <3 It very much touched me, and I would recommend reading it to all those in the AWS who haven't as of now. Although I don't recommend creating a "sequel" as per request to some of the comments. It has a perfect ending as of right now, and sequels are the surest way to destroy a well built ending.
