I don't think this is possible We have 2 equations for 3 variables: a^2+b^2=125 a=kb (where k is the common ratio of the geometric progression which is also known as a geometric sequence) We can't find a, b, or k; there are an infinite number of possibilities Also, I don't think you can take the geometric mean of a geometric progression Geometric mean is where you take the nth root of the product of n numbers, where there is a set of n numbers.
