The writer "OneeSama" explains it very very well. Utility in between turrets is what makes them unique, and the removal of the self-healing ability completely gets rid of Isida's own in DM matches. As well, increasing its damage to such a level that it can compete with firebird is certainly not a good thing. Isida never was meant to be a high damage fighter, and the earlier low damage with moderate self-healing complimented that.
