  1. Left hand: Shift, Z, X, C, V (when playing in Flash), spacebar, Tab Right hand: arrows, Page Up, Page Down (on my laptop, the Page Up and Page Down keys are on either side of the up arrow key. pretty lucky.)

    Hopper in the Garage

    Wow, Hopper is really fun to use in Space mode! It makes solo parkour a lot easier, because the OD sends you sky high and Hopper can be controlled in mid-air. This means you can go in places that would normally be very difficult to reach or even inaccessible. Here are two screenshots I took in a parkour battle. The map is Future.

    Migrating to HTML5: your thoughts

    I spend 90% of my time in HTML5, but I will be a happy camper if these things are done: Shaft's aiming mode is identical to Flash. Currently the zoom is worse, and the scope sometimes is either too tight or too slippery (when you try to make small vertical aiming adjustments) The graphics are improved. I don't know if you guys have seen this post, but the gist is that graphics (not the interface) and colors are dull and washed out, and certain things are lower-res in HTML5.

    Recommended GS for each rank.

    When I was a Colonel, my GS was in the low-mid 6000s. Starting at Brigadier, my GS capped at 6795 because of the new Mk update, so my Firebird and Hunter got maxed out pretty quicky (I had one MU left for Firebird and two MUs left for Hunter). I didn't MU my prots past 31% because MUing a prot is super expensive. Of course, this was before the exp boosts so the acceptable GS has gone down substantially.

    Recommended GS for Colonel (or any other rank for that matter) is 0. If you have anything higher, you're just a buyer нуб.
  9. There's something about the tanks in HTML5 that seem more low-res than in Flash. The paints have the same issue, but also seem... dull. Compare the paint Glitch in Flash versus HTML5. It's pretty hard to see the difference at a glance, but looking closely, you definitely notice some things are off. IMPORTANT: In order to notice most of the differences, you will need to view this in full size and zoom in even more in MS Paint or something.

    As far as I know, only Tarantula is missing from the garage. I can check the other paints though.

    Tanki made the bundle last even longer. WHY??? I think it's a perfectly reasonable assumption that if someone is going to buy the Hopper bundle, they would have done it already. Nobody asked for this. Nobody said "Hey! I want this bundle to last longer! I want to buy Hopper, but I haven't yet for some reason!". Nobody has said that, whether in the Hopper thread, or in I&S, or ANYWHERE else. Heck, people weren't super excited for Hopper to begin with. As far as I can tell, nobody except for people who bought the bundle (and RIDDLER_8) are excited about Hopper. Nobody was all sunshine and rainbows about Hopper either (except for RIDDLER_8); everyone had something to gripe about it, whether it being too unbalanced, the fact that it's paywalled, or flat-out UNNECESSARY. The developers, in their IIIIINFIIIIIINIIIIIITE wisdom, saw it a MARVELOUS, WONDERFUL, SUPERB idea to make the overpriced bundle for this unnecessary hull last even longer than reasonable. They thought it was the BEST idea to do THIS. Instead of, oh I DUNNO: Trying to BALANCE THE GAME? Fixing the Matchmaking system?

    Defender may have a weaker effect, but it can be used almost constantly now.

    My 3 favorite turrets to play would be Firebird, Shaft, and Vulcan. The 3 strongest in the current meta would probably be Railgun (augments are a must), Gauss, and Vulcan.

    Booster, Defender, Saboteur. I'd replace Saboteur with Crisis but it's paywalled so I'm not gonna count it.

  22. I'm expecting the battle to fill up within 0.05 seconds. 18:00 UTC is too early in the day for me, I have things to do today. That's a problem with most Tanki community events though. (ah, the woes of being in united states central time)
