I don't know what your averages were for the Gender war, but I got less than 350 stars on multiple accounts in a month, there is no way in hell I can get 800 stars in month.

The FAQ is not explicit about the war having to be over in order to chose reward paint. "While the Gender WAR is ongoing, you’ll be able to log into the special Gender WAR site by using your in-game nickname and password, and choose which paint you would like to receive if your faction wins." edit: site now functions

Website lets me log in but not choose a reward paint.

If you, like me, used Google Plus as a way to display your prowess in battle, the service is being removed and Google is going to permanently wipe the site in April. Logging in to G+ gives you links explaining this and how to back up your images. I had mine put on G-Drive, and downloaded the 400 some G+ posts I've made since late 2017. Going through them is a wonderful trip down memory lane. A pox on Google.
