I actually left out part... should have been "original hornet-specific OD with Rail". Might have actually been introduced 4 yrs ago? I'm getting old and can't keep track... ?

Why does the other players score matter to you? ?
-
I use what's in the post - I'm not backreading. Don't refer to things not in your current post, and there will be more "understanding". As for Scorpion - your beef should be with the game. If the item allows abuses, it's the item, not the player. We all know TO has a habit of introducing OP equipment - the "flavour-of-the-month" and letting them run amok for a while - see Rail-Overdrive 3 years ago. Devs didnt touch it until they introduced "augments".

The post I quoted DID mention vampire, but did NOT mention scorpion. And isn't that what scorpion was designed for?

How does one camp with an Isida? ?

Doesn't it depend on what the player is doing in the Paladin? Not everyone gets most of their points from kills. Capping adds up to a lot of score and you don't need a single kill in order to cap. K/D is one of the most useless stats there is.

This is a cop-out. No one forces anyone to play any game. The idea is to make it more enticing to stay in the game, not leave it. Leaving battles leaves a team short. And another low-rank player may end up taking the same spot. It's a dumb (and unfair) system that places low rank players in battles with players much more established. It just leads to frustration and not only players leaving the battle - but quitting the game. Why do you think there are so few players now? Because they left the game. And that makes match-maker even worse as it looks for even lower-level players to fill the empty slots. It's a negative-loop.

Small consolation for those on the lower end of the spectrum though, right?

Stopped playing in Feb 2022. Haven't missed it at all.

well that should last 3 or 4 days. After that you'll be a Legend (again). ?
-
It may be possible to counter them - but throwing in the word "easy" is just silly. If they were "easy" to counter they would not be considered OP.

Does anyone else think that the design/art direction was better looking in the "Legacy"-skin era?

!00%. Legacy look way, way better than the new HD. Not even close. -

You think my table is incorrect? They decreased the range of min dmg by 25% = NERF. Then they reversed that decrease. = BUFF = net neutral compared to the original decrease. -

You had... ............Max Dmg.............................Min Dmg...................Weak Damage Now you have .............Max Dmg...................................Min Dmg.............Weak Damage The Min dmg extends further out so it is a BUff. -
New players are placed at a huge disadvantage including, but not limited to the extremely fast rank-up implemented quite some time ago. They have to play ranks much higher than themselves because matchMaker does not have enough players to do it properly. And then they rank up faster than they can develop skills. They are thrown into the lions den and quite out of frusstration. A huge part of TOs problem is retaining players. And "outdated graphics" is not a significant reason.
