Nice job throwing your old members under the bus, Local.

Theory... the 2017 New Years Magnum glitch was an early development bug of Viking's Overdrive? o:

Good game is inherently a nice word. I've never, in my 9 years of gaming, seen someone use it sarcastically.

I would appreciate picture credits.

In my opinion, that was a respectful comment that implied that he respected you guys for sticking around...

Entering the first number that was found (322929) into the forum gets you to a page that is reporting a violator. But, apparently, the proper hint is found in the Paint Separation Update...

I don't think people realise how many times a camper has killed that Hammer Wasp chasing you as you're on your way back from the enemy's base -
Valid Change "Server Update" to "Server Restart"
C.O.N.Q.U.E.R.O.R replied to C.O.N.Q.U.E.R.O.R in Change "Server Update" to "Server Restart" Ideas and Suggestions
I've seen a good amount of people under the impression that "server update" means new updates. This is easily rectified by switching the word to "restart". It's not a huge issue, but it's also not that difficult to fix. I also notice that activity tends to drop immediately after server restart. Could we get an estimated time so that doesn't happen? Just like, SERVER RESTART!! ...in 24 seconds Estimated downtime: 10 minutes -
after the rank legend your K/D will crash Let's discuss

I think it's because people who reach Legend have already achieved their goal, so they just feel content to mess around in parkour battles. -
Big Black Friday sales, a cool bundle, and wicked skins are finally here!

I'm done here. I put out a perfectly good argument, and you decide to throw it in the trash because it disagrees with a preconceived notion of yours. The most blatantly immature way to refute an argument is to start insulting the other person and ignore the actual subject of discussion. Ridiculous what Tanki's community's turned into in the past 3 years. -

That's a perfectly good idea. But... what does that have to do with anything? Cosmetics... yet again. -
I think the pop-up comes up only once at Staff Sergeant, and they only put out the offer sometime in 2017 (?).

C.O.N.Q.U.E.R.O.R replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
It's an old explanation, but it's also really true. Don't disregard this before you read my reasoning, please. Keep an open mind. To start, we've gone over the fact that Tanki needs to sell things to survive. If Tanki doesn't sell skins and cosmetics, what would you rather have them sell? Like, no joke. There's not much else they could sell (Unless I'm just really uncreative, which I have been told before). Would you rather have them sell brand-new shop-only turrets or hulls? Shop-only alterations? I don't think so. Now, that would be the prime example of Tanki not caring about their playerbase. Cosmetics don't do anything other than make your tank look nice, so props to Tanki to making new skins. These things need to have appeal to them; who wants to buy something bland? Things like the Demonic skin that were once a one-time thing now become prized possessions. By buying the skin, you can join the club of people who actually won the skin, even if you didn't do any work. Good advertising right there. And honestly, the group of people that are so proud of their veteran-ship... Most of you are dissing Tanki right now. I wouldn't exactly be proud of being addicted to such a (self-admittedly) terrible game for so long. -

Guide [Issue 81] The Mid Ranker's Handbook: Essentials
C.O.N.Q.U.E.R.O.R replied to Hex in Newspaper Archive
Oof. Memories -
This story is the result of your first idea no longer making sense, then needing to work on something else, thus needing to rush an ending :P Initially the story was going to continue with the child ("me") walking into the house because he/I was trick or treating. But... I've never been trick or treating, and someone was like, "Umm kids don't actually go into the houses," so I scrapped it and went for humour

The Most Clever Thing You Saw in a Battle Today
C.O.N.Q.U.E.R.O.R replied to sensei_tanker in Archive
Rather pointless topics that encourage friendly discussion than topics with the sole purpose of inciting arguments -
"Some of your hurts you have cured, and the sharpest you still have survived. But what torments of grief you endured from evils that never arrived!" Ralph Waldo Emerson The house looked promising enough to me: a prospective child who had just begun his quest for candy. My mouth watered as I imagined the empty bucket in my hand becoming heavier and heavier. In front of me was Number 19, Grimmauld Place. I could've sworn that just yesterday, the street only went up to 17, but there it was. The house was decorated quite similarly to the other houses on the street, covered in the standard black cloths, trick-or-treat signs, plastic bats and whatnot. However, the resemblance only went as far as the visuals; there was a definite... almost aura... of foreboding. To little me, though, that only made the house all the more appealing. Ignoring my gut feeling that something wasn't quite right, I made my way to the door through a cluster of dry, overgrown bushes. I raised my hand to ring the doorbell, but an ever-growing sense of apprehension froze my arm halfway through the motion. Just ring the doorbell. It's just a few pieces of candy, skip the house. Why waste a perfectly good chance? Because... I'm scared. Turmoil. My pulse was rushing, my head was reeling, my heart was racing. What was this feeling? Was I actually scared? Unconsciously, I took a few steps back. Shaking my head, I forced myself forward and rang the doorbell. ... No sound. Whew. Well, we can leave now. Let's go. Ring it again. No, just leave. LET'S GO ALREADY. RiNg THe dAnG DoOrBeLl! I lifted my trembling hand yet again, but even as my hand moved to press the button, the door creaked open slowly to reveal a man wearing a blue polo and khakis. He looked at the address number beside him, frowned, then straightened out the number "6", muttering, "I'll have to fix that sooner or later..." Then, looking me in the eye, he said, "Can I help you?" My voice shaking, I attempted to yell, "TRICK OR TREAT!!!" but all that came out was a confused, "trick or treat?" The man's eyes shone mirthfully. "Halloween is tomorrow."
