Hammer alteration (+2 clips).I had the same problem just a few hours ago. Smoky's impact is enough to knock off aim till viking. And you need your critical. The other alteration pretty much makes it a weaker thunder, and the fast reload is what makes smoky awesome. Get hammer alt, I just played with it and loved it. With DD, you get about 5 kills every time you shoot a light hull (more if you combo damage and kill). The impact force somehow gets stronger, and is amazing! A wasp was AFK, I swung my hull and shot it for fun (without DD) and it flipped right over. Shot again and made my kill. Just be careful of the recoil, make sure you don't shoot back/sideways when jumping off a platform with a light hull. P.S~ also good for gold hunting. Shot into the crowd with DD, 3 killed and almost everyone got blown away from the gold, shot again and all died. (They were all light hulls). Easily took the gold :)
