Tried to make that paper model tank on the facebook page. Trust me, it's a lot harder than it looks. The tank isn't green because printer doesn't print in colour :p

BirdKnights's Garage Analysis

Bird's Garage Analysis In this article I will give a walkthrough of my opinions on my garage. Yes I did purchase a lot of crystals, but that was before the update. I purchase a lot less now. Turrets Firebird M3 This is one of my favourite turrets. The damage is so strong + you can attack a group of enemies. I micro-upgraded the damage completely (72). As far as I can remember, I purchased this gun M3 when I was a newbie gen. I usually use it with viking M3 but also use it with titan M3. I enjoy wasp + fire battles, which I don't play often. Some of my favourite maps to use this gun are sandbox and kolhoz. A turret I strongly recommend for commanders and generalissimos. You can also buy this gun in the Promethius Kit (Fire M3, Hunter M3 + Zeus) at marshal. What I don't like about the gun is so many people use paints like zeus and inferno, so I will give this turret a 9.5/10. Freeze M3 This was the first M3 that I have ever purchased. I ranked up to Major General on the 31st of October 2014. There was a 31% sale on the entire garage so I decided to buy freeze M3. I purchased freeze M3 because I liked freeze M2 so much, which I used with viking M2 and prodigi. I purchased this gun M4 at the 2014 Christmas sale. The gun was so good, but as I started ranking I got interested in other m3 guns. I pretty much wasted hundreds of thousands Micro-Upgrading this gun. Now I find this gun almost useless because the freezing effect got killed because of the turret balancing update. It has one great advantage: the damage it does is 80! When freeze was actually useful I used it in almost every battle I played in. It was my favourite turret until it died, so I'd give it 5/10. Isida M3 I use to not use isida much until the MU update. I had full MU on its teammate healing parameter. When I do use isida, I use it in small maps. I wanted to buy this when I was a Brigadier, but if I did I wouldn't be able to afford freeze M3. I bought isida M3 at the 2014 Christmas sale. This turret is amazing! The self-healing is crazy. When I use a Double Damage equipped with viking it is so hard for enemies to kill me, especially if I have protection from them. A gun I would recommend to anyone who needs xp fast (obviously). My rating for isida is 10/10. Hammer M3 One of my favourite turrets. The damage it does in a full clip is so high and it has excellent recoil. I usually use it with viking m3, although it is very good with titan as well. It is my main gun for parkour to help others reach high buildings. When the gun was first released, indeed it was overpowered. It got nerfed not once, but at least a couple of times. I didn't use hammer much when it was released because I didn't have it M3 and I didn't seem to show interest in it. After I micro-upgraded the damage (21/25), it made a huge difference! I can kill M4 vikings and M3 dictators that don't have MU in a full clip. I also micro-upgraded the impact (5/7) which I find very beneficial. If I aim at the sides of a tank, rather than the middle, I can easily make others miss me, especially those noob rails. Even works on M3 mammoths. 10/10 Twins M3 Another one of my favourite turrets. It has great damage at close range. I had played with this gun a lot since I purchased it M3 (Marshal or Fieldmarshal), but now I pay more attention to other turrets such as hammer. Twins M3 has good recoil for knocking of your opponent's aim. Twins has now become more of a short range gun because of the update which some of you might find annoying because of the damage, but I think it's fine. When I use twins, I usually use it on maps like sandbox and hill. I had micro-upgraded the damage completely. Good for parkour. 9/10 Ricochet M3 Although it is one of the most popular turrets in the game I don't use it often. It has great damage. I got so annoyed of other ricochet M3s that I decided to buy clay. I had spark which I purchased in some kit a long time ago and I used it until . I think this gun is great but I focus more on turrets like hammer as said before. Another reason I don't use ricochet much is because it is one of those guns that I didn't micro-upgrade because I don't have enough crystals. I plan on micro-upgrading at least 25/50 in the future. This is a gun I would recommend. 9/10 Smoky M3 I rarely use this gun. I don't find it very interesting. It is also one of those turrets that I don't have with MU. I like the reload time and the critical damage is also good. Also good for knocking of your opponent's aim. I probably use this gun (or vulcan) less than any other turret. I know most of you will disagree with me on this - I find it underpowered when I use it in battles (my opinion). I'm not saying it is underpowered but it feels like it is. I suppose it's decent for long range but for short range, I prefer using short range guns. 6/10 Vulcan M3 As said above, it is one of those turrets that I rarely use. When it was released, it was overpowered. It had excellent damage and the recoil was so strong. The update made it a lot less effective. You could literally flip anyone in mid-air. When I do use this turret, I use it with titan M4 and lumberjack. The self-heating isn't that much of a problem for me because lumberjack kinda solves that. I would use this turret in maps like polygon (I rarely play polygon CP). Wish I could try this turret M4 before it got nerfed. 5/10 Thunder M3 Once again, another turret I rarely use. I used it more than I currently use it before it got nerfed. Before the update you I could always kill a wasp m3 in 2 shots, now I sometimes kill wasp M3s in 3 shots, and of course hornets are slightly harder 2 kill. I also miss the OMP tricks that you could do with thunder because its reload time was faster. I haven't micro-upgraded thunder yet but I plan on doing it in the future. I'd say the problem is I just need 2 micro-upgrade a lot and then problem solved. I do like using double damage a lot with this gun. A common gun I use if I'm the jumper in parkour. Like seriously, this gun is just really weak without MU. 3/10 Railgun M3 The most popular turret in tanki, but I'm not giving it a 10/10 like a lot of players would. The famous XP/BP format makes the turret very popular. Yes, indeed I play XP/BP battles myself. I play in them because I don't like playing with M2 mults in my team in normal battles and don't like being trolled by M4 Russian players. I do play DMs but team battles are more interesting and I prefer to play with MUs on in normal battles because I spent a lot of crystals on micro-upgrades. A great gun for parkour as well because of the recoil. As for using railgun in normal battles - I almost never do. When I do I would usually play for a few mins and then leave the battle or change my equipment. I don't have rail with MU because I hated it when I was a newbie. I started XP/BP battles when I first got M3 hornet. I can't remember what exact rank but it was around Major General. I always wanted to buy the light tank M3 kit because it was OP at brigadier, but if I did buy it I wouldn't be able to afford freeze. I don't use it in normal battles because I find other guns more interesting and more effective. 8/10 Shaft M3 An interesting gun in my opinion. I play with it occasionally and when I do play with it I prefer maps like stadium and serpuhov. I had the sniping damage on full MU (280) which can 1 shot M3 vikings! That's its greatest advantage. As for the cons, I have to fully charge the gun to execute maximum damage and when I do, it takes long to reload. What I hate the most about shaft is the slow rotation in scope mode, making me very vulnerable. The arcade damage can kill light hulls in 3 shots. Don't you hate it when you are using shaft and enemies always target you? 7/10 Hulls Wasp M3 Great hull. Sometimes I use it in serpuhov CTF combined with M3 hammer/isida so I can cap flags (Drugs OFF, Drops ON).I use it for parkour. I have to be careful when I use it with hammer because I end up flipping myself occasionally. I HATE vulcan's recoil when I'm using wasp M3 - it is literally a very powerful wind blowing you around! What I love best about wasp M3 is using it in XP/BP battles (I never use hornet). That extra speed it has instead of hornet is very beneficial. Ok so you flip more than hornets, but with some skill you can overcome that problem. 8/10 Hornet M3 I know you all will disagree with me - I hate hornet. It's the most popular hull by far but is the worst hull in my opinion. The only time I ever use hornet is for parkour and wasp/hornet & fire battles and I used it until I got Wasp M3 for XP/BP. It's much harder to flip a hornet M3 (XP/BP) on ground level than a wasp, but I prefer speed so wasp wins. I had micro-upgraded the armor about halfway just so it can survive 2 mines with a double armor. 3/10 Hunter M3 A decent hull and good for parkour. It's fast but it lacks armor a bit which is the biggest problem I face when using Hunter M3. Good for capturing flags. Not a hull I use often because I have Viking M3 with micro-upgraded HP and same for dictator. I always wanted this hull when I was an M1 and M2 player because it was my favourite hull back then. It was one of the last M3s that I purchased because it unlocks at . I have MU plans for hunter in the future but that still might not solve the problems I face so I prefer to use viking or titan. 7/10 Viking M3 I use this with like any gun. Indeed it is a versatile hull and I MU'd it more than dictator. As mentioned above, my favourite hull in the past was hunter M2, but I somehow started developing my interest in this hull and started using viking M2 instead of hunter. It was the 2nd M3 I ever purchased. It was part of my main tank when I was a (Viking M3 + Freeze M3 + prodigi). When I was a . I wanted to take it one step further by micro-upgrading its HP (315) at the 2014 Christmas sale, which really made the difference. It is epic at M4. 10/10 Dictator M3 Great hull for catching golds. I always wanted this when my rank was lower but couldn't get it as it unlocked at . Good armor and decent speed. I use it mostly in parkour and for getting golds because wasp is too weak and titan is too slow, hence I can't make it to the gold drop zone in time. It also has good weight so I can't get trolled by vulcans. It has more armor than viking so I can usually survive that 1 extra railgun shot (3 shot kill). A hull I use a lot in parkour. Just like viking it is versatile so it goes well with many guns. 9/10 Titan M3 One word to describe this hull: UNBELIEVABLE. It has excellent armor and it actually isn't that slow (if you MU it). It is very heavy so other tankers cant knock my aim of. Before I purchased this hull I tried it on the test server and it was AMAZING, hence I couldn't resist purchasing Titan M3. The pushing power is excellent. Very good hull for getting golds (preferably at ground level). I prefer Titan over Mammoth M3 because Mammoth lacks speed. I'm not one of those players who use it with thunder or constantly firing with vulcan. Purchased once I reached the required rank . Use it with many guns and I would definitely recommend it. 10/10 Mammoth M3 A great hull but I almost never use it because Titan M3 is much better in my opinion. It lacks speed but the armor is great. However, titan M3 has more power, hence, another reason I don't use Mammoth M3. I can't say much about this hull because I don't use it. Purchased at and one of the last M3s I ever purchased. 8/10 Paints Africa Probably another one of my best paints, simply because it's universal. It is a very good paint for polygon CP. I have plans on fully micro-upgrading this paint in the future. I mainly use it whenever the enemy team has a vulcan and thunder. I purchased Africa at a 45% discount and I think I made a great decision on choosing this paint. Rating: 10/10 Lumberjack This is without a doubt my best paint. If I am correct, I purchased it at a 25% discount. It's king for short range. In my opinion, it's protections make it extremely useful. I liked the paint so much that I just had to MU it, and I did, at the Valentines day MU sale (50%). Lumberjack is a universal paint. I use it in a variety of maps ranging from island to noise. I couldn't imagine if this paint got removed from my garage, so kudos to you devs for adding vulcan into the game ;) Rating: 10/10 Clay Before I purchased clay, I had spark from a kit a long time ago. It had 33% rico protection which was decent, considering ricochet is a powerful turret. Spark's only decent protection was against rico, all others were useless. As I started progressing towards the ranks, I was encountering to much M3 ricochets. I finally purchased clay which has strong rail protection, decent for thunder and excellent for rico. A paint I would definitely recommend because you will probably need it if you were in my situation! Rating: 9/10 Graffiti This is without a doubt more beautiful than any other paint. It may have great looks but what about it's protections? It's vulcan protection is excellent. Vulcans always start overheating before I get killed. It's twins protection is decent and shaft is pretty much useless. When vulcan was first released it was so OP. The recoil and damage was crazy. I got so annoyed of the damage it dealt that tanki literally made me purchase this paint. It is basically only useful in polygon CP although Africa is better. Rating: 5/10 Raccoon Raccoon is a universal paint. It's rail protection gives me that extra bit of health, making enemies shoot me once more. The main reason I purchased it is because it has protection from 2 strong turrets - vulcan and hammer. It's isida protection doesn't really help much. I chose raccoon instead of rhino because raccoon also has decent rail protection. At first, when I purchased raccoon, it wasn't very useful. Now I think it's a great paint and I would recommend it. Rating: 8/10 Rock I recently purchased rock and it is a very good paint. Rock (48% twins, 30 % isida) is much better than urban (40% twins, 20% isida). There might not seem that there is much of a difference between the 2 paints but rock is much better. Urban came in the Heavy Tank M2 Kit that I purchased a long time ago. Useful at low ranks but as I started progressing towards the M3 ranks it just wasn't as effective. Rock also has 10% hammer protection which stops M4 hammers killing me in a full clip when I use viking. In my opinion the hammer protection is better than the freeze. It is definitely a paint I would recommend. Rating: 8/10 Prodigi Prodigi is probably the 2nd best paint I have in my garage. It was one of my first M3 paints. I purchased it when I was a . At that time I basically never changed the paint when I was in combat. Simply amazing! It was so OP at that rank! I took it 1 step further by micro-upgrading it. Here I am now as a Generalissimo and it is still one of my main paints. The fire protection is useless, shaft isn't that helpful but when I micro-upgraded the thunder protection it was simply a crazy paint. Definitely recommend it. Rating: 10/10 Taiga I had plans for quite a while before I bought taiga. I was first considering buying it for polygon CP because I died a lot when gold fell. The main reason for this is because of 2 powerful turrets - ricochet M3 and firebird M3. Taiga is a paint that has decent protection from both (20%). I rarely play polygon CP nowadays but these two guns really got on my nerves if the enemy team had both of them. I then purchased it at a sale, along with Africa. It is a great paint and I would recommend it. I have plans to MU it in the future. Rating: 8/10 Tiger Tiger is an excellent hammer paint. I bought it not long after the hammer paints got released (the turret and the paints were not in the game simultaneously). A beautiful paint indeed and it has great smoky protection also. If only tiger had good fire protection, I wouldn't have purchased mars. When hammer was first introduced in the game it was simply OP. I had to purchase magma first so micro-upgraded hammers wouldn't kill me in a full clip. Since magma wasn't helping much I decided to buy tiger. I still use it as much as I use mars. Rating: 8/10 Jade This isn't a popular paint that you would see on the battlefield. In my opinion, it's not bad. I mainly use jade because it has both smoky and thunder protection. Notice that there is no paint that has strong protection from both smoky and thunder (except eternity)? It has 25% smoky which is decent and the 12% can make thunders have to shoot once more to kill you, which could be handy. It's shaft protection is excellent. I can now dance around with my wasp without getting 1 shot (except if the shaft is using double damage). Overall, I wouldn't really recommend this paint. Rating: 6/10 Inferno I purchased the heavy tank M2 kit which had inferno. It's a very good paint. I was able to handle those noob M2 firebirds and freezes. As I progressed towards the higher ranks it was still a useful paint. Only problem was it lacked fire protection. It has 30% which is good against M3 firebirds but I needed more. I really wanted Zeus but my rank was to low and I didn't have enough crystals. Just like prodigi, this is one of my old paints. Since I now have lumberjack, I never use inferno anymore. Rating: 7/10 Hive I purchased hive AFTER I bought graffiti. I really needed a paint that had freeze and ricochet protection, since I played Island CTF a lot at that time. Purchasing hive might sound like a waste of crystals but I still use it, usually when the enemy team has a ricochet and a vulcan. Rating: 8/10 Mars Mars was a paint I purchased after I got tiger. Might sound like a waste of crystals but it was worth it. I simply purchased it because in CTF battles when there is a team with both, a hammer M3 and firebird M3, it was hard to tolerate 2 of these turrets. If I used inferno I wouldn't have hammer protection, tiger - vice versa. I then purchased a paint that has protection from both turrets. It has strong hammer protection and firebird is also great. Rating: 8/10 Emerald Emerald was a paint that came in the Medium Tank M2 Kit. It has 42% thunder protection which is very useful but I never use emerald for its thunder protection. I micro-upgraded prodigi's thunder protection which made emerald pointless. It does have decent twins protection. Whenever I use emerald against enemies that have at least 1 thunder and 1 twins on their team, one of those noobs always change their turret. Due to this, I use Africa now. Emerald is a good paint for lower ranked M3 players in my opinion. The only reason I use emerald is for XP/BP (10% rail). I could always go for corrosion or forester whenever I want but I choose emerald for its looks. Rating: 7/10 Savanna The reason I bought savanna is because my strongest smoky paint at that time was digital (13%) which was useless. I had a DCC that day and purchased it at full price when I was wandering around in a Year 2042 parkour battle. I chose not to buy the light tank M3 kit which had needle (48% smoky) before those kits got removed. As a result I had to get savanna. Savanna has great protections. It's rail protection stops me from getting 1 shot when I'm using wasp M3, 2 shot when I'm using viking and 3 shot for my titan. The rico protection isn't beneficial. I would recommend this paint over needle. 8% extra smoky protection isn't really that much. Rating: 9/10 Well that's the end of my garage. I shall make it better it the future ;) My main priority currently is purchasing MUs. I know this is long but I had to go through all of my garage - 39 replies
