    Please could we have a re-design of Noise to make it less one-sided. At the moment, a red team with several magnums can easily dominate blue team, spamming shells into the spawn/flag area. I would suggest creating some kind of overhang or partial roof above blue base, and increasing the area of blue.

  5. I don't see this as sustainable. The effective of this module is to make you immune to enemy isidas. That would make isida the only turret in the game which can be rendered completely innefective (worse: self damaging) It's like having a module with not only 100% protection against isida but 110% in a way. How is that ok, when other turrets can fire just fine?
  6. Have an optional graphic of a line that permenantly stretches between you and the closest 2 other clan-mates in battle, similar to a shaft's laser but an obviously different colour.

    Where do I report a phishing attempt? It's clear to me that the person doing it will at some point gain access to other people's accounts. I contacted @I3.R.0 to ask where I can report it and how since he had posted in the violations section with some authority, but he was not even remotely interested in hearing about it. The chat violation section is closed (nor was it done in chat by by sending a gift with a message), it isn't a gaming violation... Is accessing other people's accounts now Tanki policy to ignore completely?

    The issue I was highlighting is that multiplying a value helps people who are already at an advantage (say they are m3 vs m2) more than it helps the other person. Given the same weapon for ease of demonstrating it, it's clear that adding a value would keep the advantages of having better equipment, but wouldn't make it worse for the lower-ranking (or lower equipped, at least) player. This remains true for all weapons, but the maths becomes more complex to discuss in a forum. Nevertheless, the principle is soundly demonstrated. By adding rather than multiplying, a junior player is not disadvantaged by drugging (if they both drug) In an ideal world, the server would do a some simple calculations: What is the average firepower/armour/whatever of all players in the battle (from which it calculates how much the drug should add) to be divided by any given turret's rate of fire. That^ imo is the fairest way, but it might be simpler, easier for players to understand and give more control to devs if it was simply a set amount for each turret. ofc, we wouldn't need to have any variations with armour and speed, nor health or mines.

    Obviously, it can be set to any amount the devs choose. I would think they'd set it a lot less for a twins than a thunder. Or, allow the server to calculate it as a function of time (firing speed).. I'm sure you could have thought of that for yourself.

  15. I would like to suggest that actions within the clan be logged in the clan chat window. Example: "Supreme Commander kicked playerX" "Commander Tankmeister accepted PlayerA into the clan" "PlayerB left the clan" "Officer Noobydoo promoted PlayerZ to Sergeant"

    After recent in-game trails using different cool-downs etc for drugging, I gave some thought to this. People who have no drugs will always complain about those that do. However, it IS possible to make the difference less. Furthermore, there is an issue between people of differing ranks or equipment levels who both drugs. The reason for this disparity is that drugs work by MULTIPLYING the armour/firepower/speed. ------------ Let us examine the consequences. Player A has 1000 armour points while Player B has 1500. Player B therefore has a benefit of 500, due to his/her heavier hull or M3 vs M2 equipment. Say both decide to use double-armour. Player A now has 2000 amrour points while Player B has 3000. Now the difference is 1000 in favour of the already higher ranking or better equipped Player B. Thus, drugging benefits most those players who already have the most advantage. ----------- My proposal is extremely simply in principle, although I am not a programmer so I'm sure it is less simple than people might think to implement. Instead of MULTIPLYING the stats of a player, drugs should simply add-on. (everything else such as cool-down remain the same) In an ideal world the amount it adds would be a function of the average stats of all those players in any one battle at the time. But for simpler implementation it could simply be a flat amount. ---------- What happens now? Lets see... Using our original example of 1000 vs 1500 points, let's say the armour drug adds 1000 to all tanks. Now, after drugging, Player A has 2000 armour and Player B has 2500 armour. Still more, but only the same advantage as previously (but considerably more than Player C who already used his armour recently and now must wait) ------------- The overall effect imo would be that lower ranks would be more inclined to fight longer harder and use drugs against higher ranks etc rather than simply giving up. For all players, the experience of advancing through the game would now mean that you become more and more able to compete with the ranks above you while retaining the advantage that drugs give you against someone that doesn't use them or who has timed their usage in the battle badly. I would think that drugs use would at least remain profitable if not increase, while removing some of the unjust nature of the current system.

  23. Question 1: What was your first impression of the Supply Experiment? I was pleasantly surprised that tanki wanted to conduct one, however it was a shock and I would have liked more warning Question 2: After playtesting, how did you find it? I HATED not having supplies when first entering the game: If you enter a game already in progress then other people have supplies and you alone have none. It basically meant that you WERE going to die instantly every time no matter what. I found the cooldown too long, and the differing cooldown times ofr the different supplies didn't suit me at all. I was completely shocked that after saying "drugging beats skill and we want to do something about it" that players had access to ALL drugs at the same time which is precisely what the current smart-cool-down system was implemented to prevent. It was a huge step backwards in that regard. Question 3: How do you think it will affect the game if it is eventually introduced? I think EVERYONE will be frustrated.. people not using supplies will find themselves completely helpless against a tank with double speed,double armour, double firepower all in one go.. and at the same time supply-users will not enjoy it. The current system may need adjustment, but at least there is a tactical element of choosing what supplies to use and when and to consider carefully how this affects your options vs other players. I personally think it would be better all round to simply make it that only one supply can be activated at any one time (not including pick-up supplies)
