There is probably no reference mentioning Thor or even his abilities as "Stormbringer". It is more misleading for me because "StormBringer" is the main weapon of Elric from Elric of Melniboné and it also appeared in Marvels at some point. So even in Marvels it is more related to someone else than Thor himself.

True. Perhaps it’s simpler to agree that that clue was just all around shaky.

Exactly it doesn't. But how "StormBringer" is the right answer is more ambiguous than this. It is related to Tanki but it is not clearly related to the provided clue.

 

It’s shaky, but no more so than ‘Look, it’s a rainbow!’ matches with Spectrum. Thor literally brings storms; it’s not too much of a stretch to say that one of is his abilities is his being a Stormbringer.

Stormbringer is indeed a kit but yet it is hard to find reference to it being one of Thor's abilities - on the contrary Stormbreaker is indeed listed as one of his weapons, and also fits perfectly. So the clue was uncertain - I think this is justified and a fair compensation for anyone who answered Stormbreaker.

Yes, Stormbreaker fits perfectly, but I find it impossible to understand how it’s connected to Tanki. Perhaps I’m being needlessly complicated, but I can’t see how that makes sense.

I clicked the third option and got onto the HTML5 version that’s almost identical to the Flash, just in different fonts and stuff. Not the new grey version that I used to catch a glimpse of before I got an error message.

If you read carefully I did not say that Mjolnir and Stormbreaker are exactly the same thing.  In fact, I even posted a picture of the different weapons of Thors (I guess you missed the spoiler)  Anyway, this is what I said, "but the Hammer of Thor kit, or Mjölnir, is an ability of Thor when he wields it.  Stormbreaker is exactly the same thing...both abilities of Thor."  So to clarify that, I said Mjölnir and Stormbreaker are not the same tool, they are different, one is a hammer and one is a hybrid ax/hammer thingy, but when Thor wields them his abilities give them their power...they are both abilities of Thor, exactly the same...abilities, not the same tool.

 

Jupiter is a planet and Pluto is a dwarf planet so no, you are correct, they are not the same thing.

 

Well... If they’re both abilities of Thor... Just put ‘Hammer of Thor’ on the crossword. As far as I’ve seen, the word you write on the diagram is always some sort of Game Mechanic or something. Stormbreaker is not.

Tanki does not have a specific piece of equipment or paint with the name stormbreaker, but the Hammer of Thor kit, or Mjölnir, is an ability of Thor when he wields it.  Stormbreaker is exactly the same thing...both abilities of Thor.

You guys really aren't going to do anything about the bum "Thor's ability" clue?  You're not going to give us the benefit of the doubt and let stormbreaker slide through?  ...especially since it is a better more accurate answer?  Even though only five people out of all the participants got the answer you made up?  (I still have found no source that states one of Thor's ability was stormbringer)

I believe everyone have different thought process, some things are easier to others but difficult for us and vice versa.

Maybe our brains are wired to think alike (at least in this particular scenario). But yes, for me it was easier than the previous three contests.
