    There can't be white ammunition for all XTs because XTs are now available for all ranks, that would be confusing. But there can be for M3, that's reasonable and possible. Or even better a different color for all modifications.

    Matchmaking is coming May 29th

    Matchmaking started good for me, the first three or four days, that despite the rank issues. But now I don't think I'm fighting random players, I think people have learned to use the Groups feature and I'm fighting Groups most of the time. Now after the 2X battle rewards end in a few minutes, I'll stop playing daily, except with one account that has Premium. I hope you devs continue improving the MM system and fixing the errors. And since I like transparency I would like to know who are from Groups in battles, maybe friends too. I posted earlier an idea about balancing uneven battles by pausing a player until another of your team dies, then that team mate who dies is paused and waits her/his turn, this until battles are even. Overdrives and Drones make one sided battles, no need to repeat myself again. And all MUed equipment below M2 should be upgraded to the next modification when you reach or go over the rank necessary. Thanks. EDIT: First battle after server restart... As if the system put noob higher ranks in my team and pro lower ranks in the other, or it could be random against groups, who knows. This makes my decision to take a break even easier.

  8. That rule should be changed, if you have an M0.10 you shouldn't be forced to buy M2 and not get M1 for free because you may not want or need M2 at the moment, but you may want to get the M1 and MU it 3 or 4 steps.

    I have revised my estimate, I think there's a little more probabilities to open an exotic item: 1 in 50,000 containers. I think about 25 to 50 players already have opened those containers. (XTs and Million crys)

    I don't like secret formulas or not being able to see the all the real numbers, like container probabilities, but when it comes to EXP and battle score I don't think they'll play tricks on us, that is because they would have to play a trick on all of us and that will not make sense, also because we can verify the numbers like we are trying to do in this topic: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=373097

    About how to promote and support a fair-play game style

    I think the solution should be in the system, because organizing fair games will be temporary. I proposed an idea before that consists in dividing PRO Battles into two: Custom Battles Fewer options for battle creation Free access or very cheap PRO Battles More options, specially for Clans. Cost like today or a little more. In PRO Battles there could be options to wait before battle, pause option, surrender, terminate battle, or like if a battle becomes 3 vs 2, one of the three could be put on hold until a team mate dies, then that team mate will be put on hold the same way, then it could be normal again when battle becomes even. And like that PRO Battle could have battle balancing options.

    Yes, the game has many imbalances and buyers who know what and when to get what equipments can get ridiculous advantages, like when they buy Keeper or Harvester and MUing it to the max, now Magnums, and soon it will be Drones. But you also have bought too many M1s, that's why you can't afford MUs or save for an M2 kit. And if you want to play more or want to play with a different set of equipments it would be better for you to have another account. If you want to quit the game is also good, because the future doesn't look good with Drones, Hull based Overdrives, the expensive Module system, and Mismatchmaking.

    I believe Battle Score is used to determine battle rewards in the way that is now, where there's no battle fund anymore. Battle score appear to be similar for all, meaning a Recruit can have a similar score than a Legend but their EXPs and their rewards will be different. It's not a ripoff, battle score is necessary for the new battle reward system, which is far better than it used to be. One example on how to understand battle score is that in the battle score when you self destruct points are deducted from your score, but EXP points will not be deducted, and they are not even counted the same way.. Here some could think Hornet and Railgun are included:

    Why Vulcan is the Most OP Turret

    Vulcan is OP because the overheat damage is very small, that's why you see never stopping fire from Vulcans, specially those with Titan or Mammoth and maybe an Isida behind. Now wait for when people start using it with a repair drone. I think the solution could be making the overheat damage be based in percentages. That way it would not affect Vulcan/Wasps but only medium and heavy Hulls. I say its OPness is in the same level as Twins, and Shaft. But Magnum is two levels above every other turret.

    Haven't read the details but I think if you had a Legacy module, the module was worth 0 for Tanki because the paint took the whole value when they separated the paints and modules. That's why they say that you have that value in the paints you still have. The equivalent in real life would be when you sell someone a bike, then go to this person's house and you separate the the seat from the rest of the bike, then come back days later take the bike and give them bananas in exchange, and if he complains you tell him that he still has the seat which is worth as the whole bike was at one time in the past. Moral: Don't complain, have a seat and eat a banana... one every minute. Now what I don't know is if they took the value of the MUs of the Legacy modules into the conversion equation. PS: I wrote this mostly for entertainment purposes. ; ) Check the test server.

    The problem with the conversion was the new module system, it didn't allow for a better conversion method. I knew splitting protections wouldn't be fair because it'd leave some Legends with 4 or 5 m3+ modules with a complete system, while having to give a lot of batteries to others that invested a lot more, then leaving the rest with an expensive to manage system. That's why I was talking about these issues before the update and offering an alternative, while many of you were defending it, likely because some of you were going to benefit from the conversion tremendously or you thought you would. The new system is still bad even if we get over the conversion pains. I say it didn't allow for a better conversion because if it was converted based only on Crystal value, those with 4 m3+ triple modules would have got the equivalent 4 new m3+ modules and they would have been very upset; those with 14 m3+ triple modules would have got the complete system fairly; those with more would have got compensated; and the rest would have got the expensive system with even less protection.

    Many MMMs and errors, but I'm getting used to. The problem is that you become bored of the whole thing. I hope Tanki finds a way to make MM more balanced, but the past and recent tells me they go on the other direction of balance. I think a balanced battle is better because when we lose we blame ourselves or team mates, and when we win we are all satisfied because we fought hard and smart. And we are spending more supplies. In unbalanced battles we blame the system if we lose, and if we win is less satisfying, at least for reasonable individuals. But maybe devs don't want those reasonable types, instead maybe they want the emotional type because they are more likely to spend money. But I'm not sure, I don't know the psychology behind the game business.

    You're right, I have not explained all the reasons behind my idea. And I'm not saying it's a good idea because of the quad protection alone, because it can also be converted to a triple protection. But I'll explain it another day, some do understand though. I like your idea about ranks and waiting priorities and I'm thinking of a modified version, that could also help with the Groups problem, but I have to think on all the possible issues first. Maybe after the Matchmaking and Module topics are archived you can post it in IAS so I can add what I have on mind.

    I have a bad idea for devs, really, really bad: Remove drones Let us use the batteries for Overdrives Let us choose any Overdrive for any Hull And after a long cooldown, of equal time for everyone we can activate an Overdrive, consuming one battery. Why a bad idea? I'm trying to see if a bad idea gets better priority.
  24. I'm pretty sure they'll be free, but don't give them ideas, :) Speaking of giving devs bad ideas, maybe batteries could have been better for Overdrives, where after a long cooldown, equally in time for everyone, you could use it.
