Since the Halloween sales, everyone and his dog has got Twins M2 and that's hard to beat as it's just a relentless onslaught. Magnums I can cope with. Rush them from the side, they can't turn and from the back they're easy pickings for an Isida.

I would have thought it's the opposite - a sensible person, including Legends - would use a paint that lets you blend in and not be a target. Soft Flowers used to be my go-to paint but I found it just got me killed quicker - players would come from the other side of the map just to kill me. Now I use Cedar so at least I'm only killed for being cr4p. :lol:

Yeah that's what I'm doing. Trouble is you can't buy the M3 kit before Lt Gen, this is why I'm stuck on M2 gear for now. MU's don't give enough instant benefit per step than drugging does. If I had to do it all again, I would start off with an M0 and drug like mad to get the crystals in, and MU as I went. (Isida is actually my go-to turret, cos you can rack up the crystals but you have to put in a LOT of work. I think we only get something like 6 cry for a full heal, when we get 10 or 15 for a kill. I used to do Lost Temple to heal people but sometimes the reward is woeful.) Thunder I like for the splash damage - 2 or 3 kills for one shot makes up for the stupidly long reload time) :-/

@Wolverine and @Issimo Thanks for the advice. I did start MU'ing the M2 Isida and M2 Hornet but 4 stages in I'd spent 30K crystals on the Isida and another 50K on Hornet and was still getting hammered anyway. Realised drugging was the quicker and cheaper way to get results. Wish I'd had the same success with Mammoth and Dictator - I was a sitting duck with those.

My plan *was* to get the Man-o-war M3 Hornet+M3 Thunder €49 and maybe also Medic €45 for its M3 Isida. However, that's €95 and considering I've killed quite a few M3 Hornets with my M2 Isida with drugs maybe the M3 Hornet isn't so great. Plus €95 buys a lot of drugs instead. And without waiting until Lt Gen level...

Sorry, yes you're right, that was a typo. At W04 I bought the Stinger kit which gave me the M2 Hornet and M2 Isida. At 3rd Lt I bought the Simoom kit which gave me the M2 Thunder, didn't want the Dictator but got it anyway. Yes. I use the M2 Isida and M2 Thunder off them with the M2 Hornet. If we had a recycle bin, that's where the Simoom's Dictator would go. :)

Because from Gefreiter to WO4 I was using M0 hulls and guns and getting absolutely murdered by everyone and their dog with M2s. I'd sit there and blatt away 5 or 6 shots at the enemy, and my M0 shells would bounce off. They'd take one shot and kill me. That's why my K/D is so bad. And yeah, I wasted crystals on paints. :( I wouldn't do that again. At W04 I bought the Stinger kit which gave me the M2 Hornet. At 3rd Lt I bought the Simoom kit which gave me the M2 Isida. Oh well, I guess I had a stroke because I remember as a 1st LT my full m3 hornet/isida.was the opposite of worthless against m1s and m2s. Live and learn. WHAT? How the hell do you get an M3 Hornet at 1st Lt? You can't buy it in the shop at that rank and you'd have to max out mummy's credit card to earn enough crystals to MU it's unreal. How can Willie even have an M3 Hornet/Isida at 1st Lt without drugging like mad from Gefreiter level?I'm stuck on an M2 Hornet + M2 Isida at Major because if I MU'd it it would cost 1/4 million crystals for the Hornet and the same again for the Isida, and that's not even taking into account the MUs from M0 to M1 and M1 to M2. I've only earned 186,000 crystals in 480 hours its taken me to get to Major. So I'm forced to wait until Lt Gen when I can buy it in the shop, as it's cheaper doing it that way than breaking the credit card buying crystals. I wish they would do away with the Halloween DM map altogether. Today's missions are Earn 3000 EXP in Halloween map :( Earn 250 EXP in DM mode Earn 200 crystals in DM mode On the Battle List, there are FIFTY-TWO Halloween DM's and just ONE Silence DM.... and I got murdered on that. FIFTY-TWO Halloween DM's? come on We don't need that many Halloween maps, fgs. Give us some others, after all the Halloween map ain't that good. Like others, Halloween's been a washout for me. Can't complete missions, mission chain broken so I'm done now. Druggers I can cope with, but druggers and a bad map it's walk away till service returns to normal with FULL non-pro maps.

What? Mine wants 520 points to change. Do that enough times to get the mission to roll round again and it's cost you more to change than the prize is worth.

Nope. Just tried that and got server connection issue. Not that it's any help when my missions are: Earn 500 exp in Battles Collect 7 capture points Earn 250 crystals in battles. Can't join any battles. Going to just walk away from TO for a few weeks, kiss goodby to mission chain and see if it's any better in December.

I hope you guys will understand. Thanks. Yeah, being understanding totally makes up for my broken mission chain. <_<

That's pretty much exactly what WE'RE doing. :lol:

They are gone from the Battle List, as I said. And as you said, the green Battle button doesn't get you into ANY game right now.

When I was able to join battles (before this update) it was a major scrum for the gold and it was just repeated ten times more often. Next time you do a 10x golds, why don't you drop a couple at the same time in different places on the map.

Oh yeah, sales are better this year than year 20xx But they stopped us playing, by making it impossible to join any battles. Oh yeah, noticeably better Halloween this year... :/

The 10x golds was a bad idea from the start. You just had the same scrum ten times more often, and for some of us we still had NO chance of landing a gold. They should have dropped a couple at the same time in different places on the map, then there wouldn't be such a large scrum on constant repeat. And that's assuming one can get into a fn map in the first place. As soon as something works, TO breaks it,

Non-Pro battles gone. Can't join any missions with the lobby. Broken my missions chain. Thanks a bunch TO. Maybe you should go into politics instead - you're cr4p at running an online game.

What I like (?) about these specials days is that now everyone goes to the shop and comes to the map drugged up and lit up like Christmas Trees. It'll be impossible for me to kill even Wasps with M0 Smokeys. ;) Oh the shame, massacred by Gefreiters....

I'd like to park a few underneath whoever keeps deleting posts. Especially ones querying where we supposed to do this. Someone else said it's Parkour, then they deleted both our posts. If they said Parkour in the description then some of us might not waste our time asking. :(

I have some problems with this update. The quick battle menus get you into battles that you have no way to be prepared for - you last did a snow map so suddenly you're in a grassy map so you have to make a quick paint change. Not being able to see who your opponents are gives you no clue what weapon to use. I went back to using the old Battle system. Very few battles (see pic below) On top of that, it seems the battles are much shorter. Twice I have battles which - although they stated 15 minutes - were only about 10 minutes long. :(
