Random Ping Spikes I just bought a new laptop (specs: Intel i7 8th gen 1.9 ghz 16 gb RAM some others if you want...) and have started to lag more with ping related issues. My fps is always 60 or close to it no matter what I do, and my internet is stable. I know this because my brother has the same computer and we both use the same internet only he doesn't have spikes. So I will be playing and my PING will randomly spike to high 500s and higher even up to 999. There have been occasions where the spike was so big I am kicked out of the game, but this usually just makes me unable to do damage, which also sucks. This lag has caused me to miss several golds and decreased my overall ability to play the game. One thing to note, it doesn't happen in battle with only me, but it may be because I just dont see anyone else jumping around randomly... I was looking on some other forums for games and someone told me to do something on the cotrol pannel and turn on some option... it helped a little but the spikes still occur. If anyone else is having this problem letme know and please help if you can. I have already tried connecting directly to the ethernet and internet cables and restarting and playing on flash (that wouldn't even let me into the lobby...) and steam (even more frequent ping spikes) and on a regular browser (just regular crappyness). I have almost no files on a 1TB hard drive so that couldn't be the problem... I have even used vpns!!! Please help! thx bros

Hey guys I have random ping spikes all the time which leads to extreme lag. I just got a brand new laptop and my brother who lives in the same house with same wifi and same laptop doesn't have any of these problems. Please help if you can.

Hmmmm... In the good old days we had significantly more players and the lag still wasn't this bad. Is it because of the unified battle list and alike?

Why is the battle list so limited? It looks like the servers (when they were still separate) and I feel like I need to go to another server to find stuff im looking for (polygon CP)

sometimes not... sometimes if you lay enough there will still be mines on the ground when the unlucky tanker goes over the 'pile'

True cyborg... and golfinray that was pretty dang racist. also, did you look to see if he was like m1 or even m2 or something? cause then it can be pretty hard to earn exp. before i became a buyer my noob gissmo acc (replitaz_2) was like that and I relied solely on drugs. (rip) i tried playing on it the other day and dang bro. I am surprised my dl wasnt .28 as well I have been experiencing high pings lately too... I used to lag a ton and had to play on no graphics but I just got a new laptop (ask for specs if u want) and now I am noticing more than ever it is more just ping. of course I am playing with full graphics now but my ping is higher. something that will fix this is to say off the browser when playing. get steam or use the standalone or something. I will give u links if u want these as well. I have been using steam on my old laptop and it was working pretty well considering. when I get it on my new one, it will work as well. If none of this works, try clearing your cache or try to fix your internet connection. or look at the tanki help pages. there are a ton of them about ping and fps. I hope you find something that will work for you! also, referring back to previous posts My new laptop means I will be able to report hackers now with sufficient proof!!

It disappeared into some other countries section of the forum. You have to sign in separately from there and everything...
