We try to post patch notes for every update, but sadly and for production reasons, they are not always available for the release. A good addition would be to post even late, but detailed changes for each update, and we're discussing it right now. Most certainlyit will return :)

If I was a person designing a turret, I would be pretty attached to its power

There is no V-LOG this week. No plans at this time, but should we hear a lot of support for the idea.. ;)

New Paints, Weekend Discounts
r_Nives5 replied to r_Nives5 in New Paints, Weekend Discounts News Archive
Tankers! A month ago we’ve permanently added containers to the game, and you’ve probably opened at least one. Containers have a lot of cool items, but the most wanted are always the rare paints. We hear it's impossible to have too many, and with server restart 02:00 UTC January 27th containers will be updated with 23 absolutely new paints! The best news are — 3 of them are new, stunningly animated paints that will leave any battlefield staring in surprise! NOTE: 23 new paints can be found only in containers, and will not be available for purchase from the Shop or Garage. Check out the preview of the 3 animated paints: And here are all of the new paints: And that’s not all of the surprises we've prepared for you! Weekend Discounts From 02:00 UTC January 27th until 02:00 UTC January 29th, Gold Boxes will drop 5x more often in all regular, non-PRO battles! Don’t forget, Black Boxes with containers inside sometimes drop instead of Gold Boxes in all regular, non-PRO battles and it will be the only way to get the new paints. From 02:00 UTC January 27th until 02:00 UTC January 28th, crystal packs in the Shop will have -30% discount*, From 02:00 UTC January 28th until 02:00 UTC January 29th, MicroUpgrades will have -25% discount and SpeedUps -50%! *crystal pack discounts do not apply to the minimal package of crystals --- Have a great weekend and good luck, tankers! :)- 310 replies

Rugby Mode is coming January 27th
r_Nives5 replied to r_Nives5 in Rugby Mode is coming January 27th News Archive
Tankers! With the server restart tomorrow, 02:00 UTC January 27th Rugby mode will be finally released in the game! What is Rugby In Rugby battles each map has two bases — Red and Blue — and several drop zones for the ball. The ball will be dropped in one of these zones, chosen randomly, and it will have a parachute, similar to supply drops. The goal for each team is to pick up the ball and deliver it to the enemy base. The coolest feature of the mode is the ability to pass the ball to another player. If you press the F key (or the key you bind to dropping the flag), the ball will shoot in the direction your turret is currently facing, and it will bounce from any obstacles. This way, you can pass the ball over a low obstacle or an enemy tank. If you see an enemy running away with the ball, you absolutely should destroy them, as you will be able to pick up the ball and begin your own attack. Rugby mode will be available only in regular, non-PRO battles. A new button will be added to the Lobby, which will join you to a new Rugby match, and Battle List will also receive a new filter button for Rugby mode. Battles in Rugby mode will have a short name RGB. In PRO battles the new mode will appear at a later date — after we add the new updated maps to PRO battles. New RGB\ASL missions Super missions disabled With the release of Rugby mode new missions will be added to the pool of daily missions, and new missions will have the same goal “Earn experience” or “Earn crystals” as missions for other modes, but now they will include Assault and Rugby. Also, as previously announced new super missions “Destroy 9999 enemies” and “Earn 99999 experience in battles” will be disabled with the release of Rugby mode on January 27th. NOTE: Remember, if you already have a super mission, it will stay on your account until XT-skins are released. Only new super missions will be disabled 02:00 UTC January 27th. *** Play Rugby mode after server restart tomorrow, share your thoughts in this thread and good luck on the field, tankers! :) === BATTLE NOTIFICATIONS DISABLED === With the release of Rugby mode battle notifications at the center of the screen were disabled, and a new way of displaying who has captured the objective will be coming soon. This was done to make the battle screen focused on action, and new indicators for capturing the objective will arrive in one of the nearest updates. === NEW PAINTS ADDED TO THE WIKI === With the effort and relentless data mining of Wiki Editors, new paints were added to the Wiki. Check them out! Rugby FAQ- 234 replies

The news about Rugby mode are coming soon, don't worry :) BR/ES servers are overseas, sometimes releases can't be matched day to day, but we're very close to passing the ball to EU

Coop is correct, we're taking a week off to bring the V-LOG back, and on Friday we'll have a new Community Stream :)

Doing my best

I'll expand on my answer to make it actually informative. At the time XT hulls and turrets were designed, they were meant to serve a different purpose, to be a separate, elite Garage for players who reach the absolute top of the game and progression. It was working, because getting XT was always hard or expensive, and provides end-game players with goals besides new Legend ranks. This is a reasonable system, and many like it that way, but the game is changing with each year, you can't develop with the same plan in mind as in 2011, it's many years and many other games past the release, meaning the dev team got better, we have clear data on what players like or not, what helps to make the game enjoyable, and what is a constant grind. XT-skins are supposed to be a new, unified Garage, easy to understand by all players, and easier to choose where to invest your upgrades and time, instead of working on multiple hulls and turrets, or even finally getting XT and starting the whole upgrade process from the beginning. It was never meant to be unfair. So what is planned for 2018 and onward, is to focus on gameplay, global community events and making the game interesting, always fun to play and balanced to compete in. This is the goal, and this is what the team will do their best to achieve :)
-
All gamedev is lessons you learn along the way. For a long time, it was working, and it was enough.
-
Just the jumper, non-space.

I'm a poor musician, just started learning drums :) The friend request cancel would be good to have. At the moment not planned, but UI will change ;)
-
Coop is correct, the super missions will be disabled from the new daily missions with Rugby, which wasn't released this week.
-
This is an experiment, don't worry :)

Only super missions will be removed, and only after XT-skins are added to the game.* This does not affect regular missions with regular prizes, including crystals and Gold. *Rugby mode released = new super missions removed, XT-skins = all super missions
-
Explanation above is correct that you will not get the same paint twice, including the situation with the full Garage. At what point does the game check which paint should be in the container is considered internal only information. I wish it was possible to share it more openly, but all algorithms and code are major security concerns to be open.
-
If you already have supper missions, they remain on your account until XT-skins are released, and if you have no supper missions, new will not appear the next day or by changing the missions. This will happen with the release of Rugby mode, coming soon.
-
Edited the original post to avoid confusion: - Missions you already have will stay until XT-skins - New super missions will be removed with Rugby
-
Added FAQ for clarification to the main post, will update with more details if necessary. Your missions will remain up to the release of XT-skins. After Rugby mode is released, only new super missions, including XT, will stop appearing.
