  1. What the ever living F**K are you doing tanki? Are you really trying to kill the game? If so just turn off the servers! Rank everyone up 3 times faster and then starve them of supplies from containers/ranking up/missions/challenges to make them spend money? Aren't you getting enough from the buff n buy cycle? Two OP hulls and turrets at a time now! Rank up? Here's 40, 000 cry to buy something nice. Now, rank up. Have 1000 crystals and go buy 3 batteries you lucky tanker. I've been a legend for years. If you play in the top tier you'll be using supplies batteries and drones and plenty of them. As a really infrequent buyer I can't afford to play to my garage's max potential now that the "rewards" are so paltry. But hey, as long as the kids keep buying with Mummy's credit card, nothing's going to change. New turrets new hulls but the old ones are being left behind. It's not worth playing Wasp anymore. The bomb is useless, a stunned Mammoth can get out of the blast zone! 2/3 of the turrets 1 shot it or kill it so fast it makes no difference. Whatever the 4UK you did to gravity makes it impossible to shoot on the move with it so you're a sitting duck and half the friggin' turrets can flip you upside down! Is tanki going to be phasing out the old light turrets? Matchmaking, floating tanks, no need to turn your turret, red outline around the enemy tank, all this has been imposed upon us so that 12 year olds can play tanki on their mobile phones, be bombarded by advertising and generate money. Then realise it's way too complicated to play on a 5 inch screen and give up. I know that there are a few players who play well on the mobile version but I for one miss that ability to use stealth in the game by using cover. A sneaky player could equip Wasp/smokey and sneak around the map taking out the campers who would have no idea where the shots are coming from. Now all you have to do is wave your turrets around and it highlights enemy tanks so that it's easier to see them on a phone screen. If only someone in charge would just raise their hand and say "yep that was us, we really screwed up this game. We can either just turn it off or go for a major do-over after a lengthy consultation period with the people that actually play the game. The way it's going now is like rolling a turd in glitter and calling it a jewel. It might look good on the outside but it's still a turd.

    On the incredibly unlikely chance that any of the game owners/ devs/ trying to kill this game read this.... PLEASE FIX GAUSS. The have been no end of turrets and hulls added to the game but Gauss hasn't changed in years. Alts you can only get by gambling real money, really? Testla was out for about 10 minutes and had more alts than gauss. Come on it's not hard, you just hashed all the alts together for the rest of the turrets so why not Gauss? Shorter lock on for less damage, arcade shots with no splash damage, Burn the target/freeze the target, the usual no brain cr4p. Or are you all worn out from counting your money from the crass buff n buy cycle? Freeze and Tesla WAY op with Hunter and Paladin being the hulls of choice for exploiters. Must have made you a nice bit of cash, What are you going to Buff to stupidity next? Gauss is designed to do splash damage to groups but a lock on system that changes which tank to aim at depending which one is closest/random. Vertical auto aim is going to need a serious buff if you intend to keep the light gravity setting you have imposed on all the players. Now it's impossible to move and shoot with a light hull 'cause the turret's either pointing at the ground in front of you or pointing up to the sky when you move. It's bad enough having to equip hull alts to protect against you own turret (Vulcan) but now I have to equip heavyweight construction to shop wheelying all over the map. Not to mention being flipped over by damn near half the turrets when playing Wasp. Either hurry up and kill the game or do something to make it better.

    More of the same. I'm a legend 60+ full garage but still got Firebird mk1 and Thunder mk1 out of the 23 containers sent as an apology for this happening in the first place.

    How To Be a Good Teammate

    Don't fire on your team mates from behind. I know it sounds stupid but it happens all the time, Freeze gives you a squirt as it goes by and I automatically hit the overdrive button and prepare for the attack. Defend the objective , CTF and Rugby the whole blasted team tearasses off to the objective leaving the flag/goal wide open. Drop a mine as you go past. Killed, respawn, drive past the flag/goal then drop a mine as you go. Quit the game if it's a whitewash. There's no point hanging around getting spawn killed. It's a waste of supplies and will cost more than you will make even if you are number 1 on the losing side. If everybody quit games like this there would be no point in playing the domination tactic as nobody would make any crystals winners or losers. Then the buyers, exploiters and the just plain a55hole players would have to play better not pay better. Play something other than Viking/Ricochet FFS. Turn your turrets. Every game I see 2/3 of the players can't turn thier turrets. How can you be a Legendary player if you can't do this simple thing? Don't play like an a55hole. Titan, hold your overdrive till it really matters not just because you are low on health. Don't get mad at the guy defending the objective for not attacking. I will sit on our objective and actually use my lives and supplies to stop the other players scoring. I will without doubt come last in the team although I may have done the most to win. Where did you think all the damn mines came from? It actually costs me to play like this but often I am the main reason our team won. Equip a team friendly drone and use it well. Drop loads of mines or heal everyone. Titan defending use driver. Change your gear if there are too many like you or not enough. No isida? Change. Too many w4nkers with viking/rico change, please. . . Use the chat. If you have a magnum camper tell him where his shots are landing and guide him in, this is how artillary works ITRW. Use gold boxes to distract enemy but use chat to tell your team what you are doing. You'll always get some noob who ignores you or is Russian and goes after it anyway. A few Golds can turn a losing game around. Play the objective. CTF? then try to cap the flag or defend it. Don't play TDM! Lots of the whitewash games are because one team is playing, say, Rugby and the other is playing TDM. Okay if you have a do damage in XXX mission then equip to defend or attack the objective not just rampage around the map killing the stragglers while the rest of their team wins. Play a combo suitable for the map. Titan/freeze is not going to do well in Berlin or any of the larger maps. Change protection to suit the enemy. It never used to be worth it with 5 minute long games but now it's worth taking the time to see what is the "to55ers turret of the day" and equip for that. Don't equip a protection that won't do you any good. If you are playing a light hull is there any point in equipping shaft protection? It'll one shot you no matter what. Freeze is unfortunately the same, until it get's nerfed eventually, it's practically intant kill 50% protection or not. Same with Tesla.

    Wow, I wasn't expecting anyone to read it much less reply in a positive way! Items seem to implemented into the game in the way a 5 year old would "yeah tesla cool zapzapzap" without exploring the full ramifications of the turret and how people will play it. This thing shoots round corners! Hides behind buildings or walls near objective and just keeps sending out little balls until an attacker comes near and ZAPZAPZAP you're dead, even with 40+ protection module on a DA Mammoth in overdrive! WTH Tanki. Is it really your aim to have every turret one shot a light hull? I got one shotted by smokey today just after spawning. Smokey! Doing 2000hp per shot! I've not played a game in days that didin't end anynumberover5 - 0. Vulcan nerfing, it's no secret that the devs hate Vulcan. When freeze got a major buff it took about 6 months of every body having freeze and moaning about it to get it nerfed back down to sensible. Vulcan gets a buff and all hell breaks loose. Two days later it's ubernerfed. Okay,it did take a while for the hornet/vulcan/fire immunity/incediary band fiasco to get sorted out but it's happening all over again. Freeze/hornet really can do some stupid damage. I was killed as a JUG yesterday in maybe 3 seconds by the same combo. Same with this secret hammer alt that seems to be able to one shot a heavy hull. You can't keep upping the damage without upping the protection against it. Traditionally it's been the armour of the tank that has forced procectiles and guns to get better not the other way around. There only used to be 3 turrets that could kill you with one shot. Shaft, Rail and Magnum. Now practically every turret apart from Rico, Twins and Vulcan can one shot you or kill you nearly instantly. Add in the stupid overdrives (have you noticed that Viking's overdrive hasn't been mucked with maybe it because it's the one the 5 year old players go for) and it's instant death. I had a few Siege missions today and every one was decide by who got to the point first with an overdrive. As soon as one side had a point the other just backed off and played TDM because attacking the point was futile. as soon as you got a tesla/titan under a dome close attack was impossible. Two titans capping points and killing enemy means a constant or near enough Titan dome on the point. Stupid.

    I may be biased against this turret as I absolutely hate it. All I see are noobs with Viking/Rico charging up to the point I'm defending hitting the overdrive and then dying 7 seconds later after killing the defenders. And that is their total contribution to the game apart from TDMing until the overdrive is active again. 29 balls is pretty much infinite ammo given the spawn/attack/die, churn that most battles become. I can't remember the last time I saw a Rico out of ammo. I still contend that the game mechanics are skewed to favour certain turrets, particularly the plasma shooters Rico and Twins. Tesla looks to be another protection beater. I've over 40% and on DA my heavy is still only 3 shots from dead. But again I play gatekeeper 90% of the time with a heavy hull and Vulcan so I'm going to come across the best players with the best garage. Oh and the buyers who still can't turn their turret.

    I have been playing tanki for a long time, my current account is over 5 years old and there were many before that. This is going to come out as I think about it so don't expect logical order. What is happening to this game? All the turrets do all things, protection modules are all but useless, and half of the overdrives have been nerfed to a such a level of patheticness its not even funny. Titan dome just gathers your team for a 1 shot multiple kill, Mammoth's overdrive. . . . .Lost for words here. . . .I was Mammoth/DA/overdrive and was intantly killed by a Hornet Freeze. 8000 hp instantly.? Jammer, I'm just going to leave it there. Lag, I have a fast connection and a powerful computer, a low ping and 60 fps. Shaft's laser is nowhere near me and boom I'm shafted! Railgun shoots me through walls and Isida kills me round corners. My health bar goes down to halfway and then boom I'm dead. Lag, sort it out. Tesla, has to be a turret to pander to the mobile players. Not enough that they got 3 hulls you can't crash but now a turret you don't need to turn because it can kill you from any angle! Another turret that the protection module does verry little. Mobile is the reason this game is so crap now. Beacuse of mobile we got lumbered with MM ,shorter games, fewer maps, flying tanks, and all manner of other niggly crap just so people can play on their phones. How many people play tanki at a high level on their phone? Utterly sick to death of having an 8000 point hull one shotted by half the turrets out there. If you are going to make the turrets much more powerful with the alts then nerf the base turret to counter it. Apart from the recent experiment when was the last time the base armour got a buff? The turrets have gotten more and more powerful. There's not much point equipping Shaft protection even on a heavy hull as it can still kill you with one shot. Or is there a whole new lot of super heavy hulls just waiting to be released for the right price? FFS get rid of the critical hit for all turrets or at leat make it fair. Railgun gets nearly 100% increased damage for a critical hit but thunder and vulcan get 0%! Do any of the game owners actually play this game? Stunning missiles that stun you for longer than it takes to reload them. Stun, stun, stun, Oh I'm dead. So glad I had double armour and 50% protection. Hammer one shots me for 4000hp with a turret alt you can only get by gambling! You can't swear in chat because children might reading it but you can encourage them to gamble real money for virtual items. The buff nerf buy cycle is happening so rapidly that it's ruining the game Only your buyer base is going to be competitive at just about any level. I'm an old legend, before the experience got so multiplied you became a legend with M5 gear. I'm finding it next to impossible to compete with my fully upgraded garage and buying the odd thing in the sales. How are new legends going to enjoy playing when they are getting creamed by buyers and exploiters? 10-0 rugby matches are no fun for either side particularly when it's one or two untouchable buyers scoring every 20 seconds. When are you going to to link the auto pause to turret rotation instead of hull movement. There is very little need for skill in the current game perhaps this would even the odds. Also making the turrets faster and the hulls slower to turn would help to bring the skill level up. I'm not expecting anyone to reply to this or to even care I wanted it off my chest and If someone who is in charge of this game happens to read it all well and good. P.S On a personal note please stop nerfing Vulcan.

    Yeah that probably used to be the case but when you add in turret alts and drones even a heavy hull is easy meat.
  9. Get rid of matchmaking. The best part of the game for me was being able to play the same map all day if I wanted to, often with the same core of players. Games became more tactical and less of the charge, die, repeat nature they now have. Revert to the old overdrive, it promoted teamplay. Or just make the new overdrive happen once in the entire game. Remove everything stuns and everything causes critial hits. Fine if it was an even system but it's not. Railgun has a high change of scoring a critical and it's critical is nearly 100% better than a normal shot. Thunder has a 10% chance of scoring a critical that is the same damage as a normal shot. How is that fair? Railgun's stun effect lasts forever, overdrive stun effects have been slowly reduced to almost nothing. Go back to when the different turrets did different things. If you wanted to burn people you got the flamethrower, freeze people you got freeze, heal people you got Isida. Now all the turrets are doing the same thing with increased levels of damage. Protection modules work less well than before, supplies are being deactivated or ignored and the armour levels of the hulls hasn't changed in years. All this means that it's just more churn, more supplies and more buying. Decide if you want to make an enjoyable balanced game or just milk the cash cow to death because this middle ground we're playing in is no fun either way.
  10. Team mates shooting me from behind when I'm goal keeping making me think there is an enemy behind me so I fire up the Titan dome for nothing. Shaft players. Team mates shooting at me for not attacking. I'm sat on the objective surrounded by mines how the fk do you think they got there? Oh and by the way I'm the reason we're not 4-0 down. Shaft players. Trying to drive through me and not around me. Shaft players. My team playing TDM when me and the other team are playing Rugby. Shaft players. Players who can't turn their turret. You're legend players! How can you play this game for several hundred hours and not learn how to turn your turret ffs? Oh yeah, shaft players.

    It doesn't matter how long the games are while one team or player gets onto the map before anyone else has spawned and scores/caps a flag. All players should spawn together to make it fair.

    Railgun has always been a special case? look at how long the stun alt stuns you for! I play Vulcan 90% of the time because I like the way it plays but I do get fed up of being the poor relation. It's not going to be long before it's pointless playing Vulcan. Yes if you can get a player unprotected and you on increased damage it's devastating, That happens about once every 5 matches. The rest of the time you are lucky to be doing 50% to other players while on increased damage. Add in Crisis drone and I'm often hitting players for single figures. I'm sick and tired of vikings driving at me across the map under fire from me all the time only to get in range and one shot me with Hammer or insta kill me with one of the melee turrets. This happens in every match. I should explain that I play gatekeeper 90% of the time too so I am coming up against the other teams best players on full drugs and usually overdrive. It seems that the mechanics of the game are skewed towards certain turrets. I don't equip protection for ricochet any more as it doesn't seem to do anything even at 50%. Now that everything stuns are we going to see double equipped hull alts? Vulcan has to either equip a fire alt or fire protection just to defend from itself. It would be great if I could play defender with stun immunity but after exhaustive tests it's not really possible. Unless I have isida sat behind me I self destruct, despite careful use of the gun, long before the attacking parties have finished.

    Yes I see what you are saying. Not helped by the fact that Vulcan's critical damage is the same as its normal damage. Thunder is in the same boat as us, critical damage the same as normal damage, 10% chance of a critical shot and weak damage @ 50% What the hell is the point of critical damage if it doesn't do anything? Railgun on the other hand has nearly 100% extra damage for a critical shot, no weak shots and far more chance of getting a critical hit. This game is really starting to suck.

    What I'm trying to say is that very often the Critical Hit for Vulcan scores half or one quarter of the regular hits. hitting your opponent 88 88 88 88 44 88 88 88 88 88 88 44 the 44s being the yellow critical hits. A critical hitis supposed to be better than a regular hit or activate some power. Vulcan's critical gives you less score more often than not. Try it, equip vulcan get into a legend battle and look at the numbers. If Railgun or thunder's critical hit was a half damage shot there would be game wide complaints!
  15. Well that's strange. The questions I posted here yesterday about Vulcan have dissapeared! What I would like to know is why Vulcan's critical damage is very often less than half of it's normal damage? With 10% chance of a critical hit at least 1 in 10 will do half damage or less. This bonus is actually a nerf for Vulcan, nice one Tanki.
