Lots of players with long range turrets simply rush and fight just like Twins. No sniping. Viking is good for close range because of its height. It can easily get under enemies, flip them, climb on them or whatever. It is like a ramp. Hunter is better than Viking at medium and long range but very specialised snipers (or gold hunters) use Dictator because of its height and turret position. I prefer Hunter over Viking and Dictator (I am camper/midfielder) but most players do not. I currently use Titan or Hornet because they are my only M2 hulls but I would probably use Hunter if I had M2.

If you have M4 Rail, the 1st tank gets 90% damage of standard Rail, the 2nd tank gets 180% damage and the 3rd tank gets 270%. Teammates also count (however, they do not want to sit in front of you like target dummies and get pecked to death by enemy Smokies and Thunders). On the other hand, how often do you hit 2 tanks in a line? Every 5th or 10th shot? What about 3 tanks in a line? Every 40th or 80th shot?

It is not meaningless. It is a verb just like rush, camp, attack, defend, kill, capture, destroy, annihilate, elliminate etc. I think it is cool to use verb as a nickname.

Thunder players who can not use their splash and tend to suffer from self-damage should buy Subcaliber rounds. The alteration costs only 20000 crystals and it does not only remove splash, it increases recoil and impact force by 10% (good for parkour). You absolutely forgot Smoky. Since October, Smoky has 50% weak damage like Thunder so it can snipe effectively. It can even kill Rail or Shaft across the map. Even more, Smoky got Incendiary rounds alteration which costs 100000 crystals but it is really OP. Afterburn shot inflicts far more damage than standard critical, even at long range. Vulcan got Incendiary band. Yes, that alt is strong but only with Viking Isida which constantly heals you. Rail got Electromagnetic accelator 'Scout'. It is the best Rail alt because it shortens your shot delay to 0,5s (!) and does NOT decrease your DPS.

Maybe in far (or not so far) future everyone will wear armor reinforced by exoskeleton (of course, not in home...) that covers whole body and makes you immune against most of the physical, chemical, radioactive and biological damage. People would then recognise each other by...nametags? Why not?

They may not be OP but they may affect the game balance in really unpredictable ways. For example, Viking OD + Autocannon Smoky = flipped enemy Titan xD

I think that Mine module should work against that stupid drone, atleast the Mine module would be more useful.
