These alterations seem to be really OP. Why? Fire, Freeze - Slower turret rotation? LOL. These turrets have HUGE rotation so when they lose some, no problem. Twins - INSANE DPS. Can beat every turret at close range. Rico - Infinite shooting for Rico? That will be a beast. Smoky - Adding freezing or afterburn to turret which is already OP? Really? Smoky - Turning this OP gun into braindead pseudo-Vulcan with NO disadvantages like shot delay or self-damage? Striker - 0,5s lock on? That is crazy. OK, only 1 missile but still... It will be like Thunder with ability to shoot around obstacles. Striker - INSANE DPS. It will be played like Twins or Rico. Striker - Remote explosions? It will be hard to use at first but when the player gets used to it...

Tanki devs need money from paints. Animated paints are more interesting for buyers than 'standard' paints. There are not many players with animated paints so do not worry.

Damage fluctuation of Thunder and Smoky is not big enough to affect gameplay (50% weak damage does not count as a fluctuation, it is predictable). On the other hand, damage fluctuation of Rail is huge. You simply do not know if your shot kills the enemy or just scratches him.

The new drones will totally ruin all remains of game balance...

Any gold digger with Dictator can easily steal the gold from Juggernaut. Dictator is by far the highest hull in Tanki. Wait. Juggernaut is higher than Dictator? xD

Yes. Thunder and Smoky are currently the most OP turrets in Tanki.

Shaft arcade shot is not OP at all. It was nerfed in summer. It has only 25% weak damage and about the same range as Twins/Rico. That means arcade shot can not be used for sniping like Thunder and Smoky (which actually makes these turrets OP). Shaft and Rail are UP, if you want to snipe, use Thunder or Smoky.
