It is actually a generally well-known fact that business owners and managers are some of the most intelligent people. The Developers are definitely not as dumb as you think, they had a reason in this update: To make money. By making players purchase containers to get augments, it is more likely that people will spend money on this game, and the game's profits increase. Similarly, by not allowing Battle Funds in XP/BP and other format battles, they are trying to push players to play in Matchmaking battles more, and when old XP/BP players, for example, try to play in Matchmaking, they may want to expand their combo to include other turrets/hulls, and because of this, they may make a purchase to get crystals to micro-upgrade this new combo. All in all, this update was well designed to increase profits, and I am sure there was a sudden boost in profits as a result.

This is a known issue with the HTML5 version of the game. For now, if you are wanting to change your alteration, please use the Flash client. This problem should be fixed relatively soon, though.

They are listed as "Rare" and "Epic" items, which are somewhat hard to get, but I'd say 1 in 3 Containers could have the possibility of giving you an augment.
-
It was not my idea to put augments in containers, it was the Developers'.
-
The descriptions have not been updated, but the actual augment does what it is says in the Patch Notes and on the Wiki.

I am not biased. I am just simply answering players' questions, and clearing their confusion. Some players don't have all their facts straight, and they are forming firm opinions on this false information, which is a big problem. I am not going to choose to side with either the players or the Developers, I will just say that there are parts of this update that I agree with, and some parts I don't.

Yes, all Turret Alterations that were owned before received the changes mentioned in the Patch Notes. You don't need to receive the same alterations again from containers in order to get the changes.
-
So, if you are a non-buyer, would you want buyers to only need to collect 8 Hull Alterations, instead of 8 for each of the 7 hulls? That would mean you have a super high chance of running into someone that counteracts your Firebird if you are using that, Hunter alteration if you are using Hunter, etc....
-
If any of the Hull Augmentations could be gotten, and used on ANY hull, instead of just one, then it would be WAY too over-powered. Just imagine this one: You receive "Heat Immunity" for Mammoth, but you have it Mk1 with 0 upgrades. On the other hand, you have Hunter Mk7 with full 20/20 upgrades. If you had the opportunity to equip the Heat Immunity alteration onto your Hunter, then you have an even more over-powered Hunter, and at no expense to you. Luckily, this isn't how the system works.

Again, he is not ignoring anyone. He is a VERY busy person, and he doesn't need to reply to every person for their idea to become a reality. Please be patient.
-
He views the topic occasionally, and marks down the best ideas from players. He doesn't need to reply every time a player has a new idea.

Likewise, Fortnite is not in the dictionary, yet, it is still a game...
-
Well, that would be interesting to say the least... Though, everyone would just use it with Titan or Mammoth, unless they have "Fire Resistance" or "Fire Immunity"

Isida is actually the name of a clinic in Ukraine (just search "Isida" into Google)

Sometimes praise makes people more willing to give you what you want ? For example, if I want @Jay to give me a gold box, I will just be like "oooh, your YouTube channel is so good," and then I become 1,000 crystals richer.

cough I doubt the in-game name would be changed to something that isn't a word cough

That's because most of your ideas are being hidden as you throw tons of insults and profanity into them. Be respectful with your ideas, and there will be no reason to hide your ideas, and maybe some of them will come to the game.

Let me check it :x

I'd say a third of the responses are from myself and other Helpers, but I do think it speaks volumes about the players' general opinion regarding this major change. I think some changes will be made shortly, but I am not a Developer, so please don't take my word for certain.
-
I still need to quote you, that way other players don't get the sense that I am replying to them. An argument for your position would be greatly appreciated, and make it more probably that your desired result occurs.
-
Give them some time. You can't expect the Developers to even hear all players' complaints in less than a day, much less decide and apply the according changes. A week is a much more practical timeline. This is completely false information. For one, your posts on the Forum can't have any effect on your actual account within the game. Secondly, the game accepts feedback and criticism from players, as long as it is phrased in a constructive way, and the post isn't just insulting. As long as you aren't insulting anyone, using profane language, or anything of that sort, your feedback will be taken wholeheartedly.

Oh, then yes. Feel free to do so.

Sorry, we don't allow players to create category topics ?
