Fair point yes, in - game confirms. Actually it is in the patch notes also, that is strange. Reducing the range is not a good change imo, so basically Freeze is now back to the same or worse than it was before the changes with such reduced range... and Firebird and Isida nerfed. I like scoring changes for CTF/RGB/CP but the range nerf on melee turrets definitely was not needed imo. -
New firebird does really show what afterburn is capable of!

Firebird/Freeze/Isida are actually nerfed it turns out, all had their minimum damage range reduced to 20. Don't see the point in that as the ranged turrets were already so strong, and damage nerf is enough for Freeze. -

Why have all close range turrets been nerfed without this being announced? On Wiki Firebird, Freeze and Isida all have minimum damage range at 20, used to be 25. Not a needed change imo, and should have been announced if this was planned. Or is it just a Wiki error? -
That is true, although I just wanted to raise awareness and start a discussion about this as this is quite a significant problem, and not many players are Vulcan users so it may go relatively unnoticed.

Freeze nerf is good - only about a 10% nerf so it's still significantly stronger than it was before the change, but not OP like it was recently. Firebird buff, remains to be seen but could be good. New map is great! Vulcan however needs a fix ASAP - Self - damage is now huge! With the firebird change as soon as Vulcan goes beyond overheat resistance it receives a huge amount of damage, and continuous damage is higher. Vulcan was already weak, needs fixed as soon as possible especially for Tankers who use light hulls. -

A perhaps unintended consequence of the patch is that Vulcan, which was already one of the weakest turrets in TO has received a large nerf - it now receives massive self - damage after the Firebird change. Before the patch if you went beyond the yellow - bar "overheat resistance" threshold for a few seconds if you needed to kill a target you received very little self - damage, now you receive a massive amount. When in the continuous fire mode the damage is absurdly high now. This is a particular problem for light hulls, on my Hornet/Vulcan account you absolutely cannot go beyond the overheat resistance, or you might as well press self - destruct. Some good balance changes, with a firebird buff (will have to see how strong it proves to be though), and a slight freeze nerf, but the Vulcan self - damage, for a turret which was already weak, needs to be fixed as soon as possible. It was a cool event, thanks to Tanki for WAR! Definitely the best event I've played in so far. That is very concerning how much the winners played though, people over 3000 stars? They definitely need to get a balance of Tanki and life, not good to play that much. Probably played too much myself!

I agree, this is very unfair. Tanki ought to give 15 containers to anyone who has attacked the vault in turn 4, and confirmed their vote, if they did *NOT* re-confirm the vote in turn 5. That way everyone who attacks the vault and wins it in turn 5, and everyone who voted this morning will still get their containers. As it stands people who played this morning and could not play later will miss out on all their containers, extremely unfair in my opinion. It is Tanki's fault so they should take the blame for this and reward these players, or a lot of people could be frustrated and quite a few could even decide to quit tanki, as this is not good at all. 15 containers is a huge loss, and no doubt a lot of people invested a lot of time this morning playing on different accounts.

This is a good way to solve the issue and compensate everyone, sounds fair to me! Good job Tanki EDIT: Actually I've changed my mind - as some people who played this morning and could not play later on would have gotten reward for capturing the vault, they may now miss the vault. I think this is very unfair, some people may have spent a lot of time especially given that it is vault capture day. I think that tanki should give 15 containers to every account which attacked a vault and confirmed their vote in Turn 4, if they did *NOT* then re-confirm their vote in turn 5, to be fair. This way everyone who voted to attack the vault this morning, and in Turn 5 will get the containers and not be left out, this could be very unfair to some.

Thanks to the developers for getting it up and running at last, it seems as if they had a hard job in doing so. I hope no devs collapsed from stress lol. I would however think Tanki should probably give some compensation though, I think free 3 containers would be in order because of the number of hours missed with today's turn.

The Russian version is working! I can log in by selecting the Russian language then using the auto - translate feature on my browser to translate to english. Can I use the russian war site to do my selections or will that mess things up for my account? EDIT: Russian version isn't working either now

I've just recently got Assault and it seems really strong. Yes have to depend on batteries from Containers/Weekly but it does reduce supply usage a good amount while it's up, and if you have a strong tank it seriously reduces the downtime when you don't have supplies on turning your tank into a machine - when the other guys supplies wear out you will destroy them. Definitely like it for some tanks. Only complaint I have with drones is the supplier drone - imo the best Isida drone. I don't understand why it is so weak without MUs, at lower level the effect only has a 1 second duration, up to 5 seconds at max MU. That is not like any other drone, who's duration at best doubles with MUs. Why is supplier like that? It should be at least 2.5 sec at 0/20 MU to be useful and consistent with all the other drones.

I totally agree, if anything has discussion potential at the minute it is drones, and will be even more so when new ones are added. There is a lot yet to be figured out about them and I'm sure a lot of people will have questions. I was looking for a drones topic several times in the discussion section myself as I had questions of my own, could do with being added. -
I think I may have become a container addict lol, angry when I don't get my container fix. Well you may be right, it may not be so simple as sending an automatically generated e-mail, may be other things that we are not aware of that make it more complicated. I have exams soon so I was hoping to get them before I quit Tanki for a while for exams, but I may have to wait until after.

It's not entirely free, we had to invest a significant amount of time to get it, and we were promised. It is a simple matter of sending some codes via e-mail, can't see any reason as I say if they can send all containers from crazy weekend on 1 day guaranteed which is surely more complicated, why we can't be given a definite date and all codes sent. We were told they would arrive in a 7 day period, which seems very strange, and implied we might get them by Monday 23rd. It would have been better if they just said "Will arrive on July 31st" to save people hanging on and wasting time to check their e-mail. I'll know to just check on 31st as it seems doubtful they'll come before then. Besides, considering they are publishing so much news etc surely they could spend 5 minutes to get the promised codes sent, just annoying to have such uncertainty. Anyway just wait until 31st everyone and don't waste time checking before then, as others have said. PS: Don't get me wrong, 10 containers is a very generous promotion, but still I'm surprised we have had no update at least on a definite time.

Juggernaut, Balance Changes and new XTs are coming!

I am getting a bug with Juggernaut very often, where I cannot turn the Juggernaut Turret. This usually seems to occur if I become Juggernaut twice or more in one match, if I die as the first Juggernaut, the second time I become Jugger, I often cannot turn the turret. The last game I played, I could even not turn the turret of my regular tank when I died after being Juggernaut twice. I am sure many players are experiencing this issue also. PS: Really enjoying Juggernaut so far! DestrotankF1 -
I have noticed a bug with Juggernaut which I am sure many others have noticed - sometimes you cannot turn the turret at all! This seems to occur with me if I manage to become the Juggernaut twice or more in one game, sometimes the second time I will not be able to move the turret. I have even had this remain after I had this bug with Juggernaut, and died as Juggernaut, when I respawned I could not move my turret on my regular tank either for some time. Please fix, many thanks! PS: Juggernaut mode is great fun so far

I know, but I don't understand why there has to be an 7 day window just to send some codes? If they can send all containers from crazy weekend in 1 day I don't understand why they can't just give 1 day when codes will be sent. And it implies some codes will be sent starting from July 23rd, none have yet. But yes I trust they will arrive eventually, just strange that it would take so long for such a simple thing seemingly...

I can see what you mean, but personally I disagree. You still get many benefits to winning, you do get a higher number of crystals on the winning team, and it's also important to win if you want to complete the "get top 3 of the winning side mission" etc, so there is a good incentive still to win. Also under the new fund system you get proportionally more score (and more crystals) it would seem for capturing flags than under the old system, as I found myself when I tried to spawn camp. Even when I got 50 -1 and the highest k/d by far on the winning team, I found capping flags gave me more score. So personally I don't see a problem with it. Also the new fund distribution is very important especially with matchmaking, if you are on the losing side you can still get a decent number of crystals, and now that you can no longer choose battles that you would have a good chance of winning, this is CRITICAL. The old system was very bad in my opinion, even if you put in a great performance if you had a bad team you got very few crystals, and this encouraged people to quit the game immediately they sensed their team was losing, which was terrible and one of the worst things about Tanki. I am very glad to the new scoring system and I certainly wouldn't want the game to return anywhere close to the old, the only problems it has at the minute in my opinion are not with CTF, but with CP and Isida: 1) Under the new system 3+ or even sometimes just 2 players capping a point at the same time can get no score reward for it, which is just silly and removes incentive for capping points. 2) Isida gets vastly less score for healing for some reason, which is silly and encourages Isidas not to heal. Being the only healers in Tanki it was always important that they were encouraged to heal their team, this greatly reduces incentive for teamwork.
