1. Would you mind explaining in your beautiful picture-style the exact way that the Rating of a player is currently calculated?

I remember when this video was released... the hype about the new look of Tanki was huge. Unfortunately, as mentioned above by Letchik_Wolk, Tanki 2.0 was constantly postponed before finally being cancelled due to the amount of players who would be unable to handle the graphics. I actually can remember seeing the tank go through that dark section of the map and jumping up and down, the super-hyped 11-year-old that I was. :P It really did look pretty amazing back then, when compared to the graphics at that time. Eventually, Tanki's graphics have improved almost to that level even though it did go through a period when the first "new graphics" came out of dissatisfaction and a level of wishing that the graphics hadn't been changed at all among the players. Actually, not necessarily in all ways. The interface which was planned to come with Version 2.0 has not come yet, and even though the graphics have far exceeded that of the planned 2.0, there are still things that have not been done which were promised over four years ago now.

Interesting perception. Of course, I agree, every discount should be appreciated. No doubt 'bout that. However, I do see the logic of people sorta "complaining" about the minor sale. Let's be honest, when seeing sales nowadays, 25% really isn't that much. Even though I know many of you will remain to say, "Remember the old days; sales were so rare and everyone was so happy", I find it difficult to compare the old Tanki to the current system. Tanki's business plan has changed very clearly from a player's perspective since the Original Rebalance. As has been mentioned above, the prices of the current Tanki are significantly, and I mean significantly, higher than its predecessors before the 2012 Rebalance. And so it's obvious that for Tanki to keep players involved, their current plan is to have "Common Significant Discounts and Expensive Prices". For those who think tankers are being "spoilt" nowadays with the sales, just think of how spoilt they must have been back in the day when it was possible to own a full-power Thunder-Viking M3-M3 Set (Seen by many as the best combination) for a price of what today would simply take a buyer to get M3 Thunder alone, with no progress made on the Hull. Thus, being honest, 25% discounts really don't COUNT for that much today. And its hard to compare them with the old way Tanki worked.

The 3rd/4th Place Playoff may not mean anything, but it's always entertaining. They just simply want to score goals.

I'm not saying that finishing 3rd or 4th is not an achievement. It's a brilliant job by the teams to get to the semi-finals. But who honestly cares about whether one of them finishes 3rd, and the other one finishes 4th. They both went out at the same stage.

Who even gives an ounce as to who wins the 3rd/4th Place Playoff. What a meaningless game. The Brazilian players will probably be crying the whole way through it, anyway... I doubt many of the players will want to play in the 3rd/4th Place Playoff, after their last embarrassment. Rather intriguing that no-one's talking about Van Gaal's mastergenius now. I mean, come on. If you know that one of your keepers is so much better than the other at saving penalties, and you have one substitution left in extra time, you've got to save that sub. .-.

LOOOOL. Are you even being serious. Costa Rica, whose best defender plays for Mainz, and whos worst defender was on loan in Mexico's second division managed to make NONE of the 11 Netherlands Corners any threat? Okay, I'm going to go on a rant. Because I feel like ranting. The press in England have been all saying "Yay Louis Van Gaal is a genius". Now, let me just think about that phrase for one second. The manager noticed that one of the goalkeepers was better at saving penalties than the other one. What genius. And he subbed him on (under the advice of the goalkeeping coach). What genius. As for Costa Rica, they held out against a team whose worst player was more well-known than all of the Costa Rica players before the World Cup put together. And how was their keeper lucky? Was the fact that he managed to save a lot of shots lucky? Was the fact that Netherlands hit the woodwork a lot lucky? Nope, they just should have shot better. Costa Rican managerial team deserve more credit than their getting. I don't know if you noticed it but they never took risks. Whenever balls came in, they made sure they got it away. Even giving away unneccessary corners. Which they defended well. The Costa Rica coach "played a lot better" in that game than the Netherlands Coach, who didn't change the formation until very late - leaving little time for them to surprise the clearly under-pressure Costa Rican defence. #rantover. I'm going to gun for Germany and Netherlands. Netherlands 1-0 Argentina Brazil 2-3 Germany AET I find it intriguing that you think it was worse than France vs Germany and Argentina vs Belgium. Both of those games had so few chances, and you couldn't admire an underdog team holding their own against a quality team. They weren't always shooting away the ball too, Costa Rica mounted a number of counter attacks. Aaah. I dont know. I enjoyed it immensely tbh. But fair enough.

It was an epic game. I mean come on. That goalmouth scramble at the end of normal time was just plain epic. Robbie, you honestly think Costa Rica suck? Find it quite amusing that robben, van persie and sneijder weren't able to score against players from Mexico's second division.
