First off I would like to apologize for the long wait. I was dealing with personal stuff. After a long wait, the end is here. I woke up tied to a tree after I got knocked out. I took a quick glance at my surroundings and tried to come up with an escape plan. I spotted a piece of paper but I couldn't reach it because I was bound. I found a knife that was just in my reach and cut myself free. I kept the knife and walked over to the paper, which said that I was missing. I was shocked to find out that I had been gone for so long. I looked for my phone but couldn't find it anywhere so the best thing I could do would be to try to use my instincts to find my way back. At first, I had no idea where to go but after a lot of walking, I figured out where I was, and got to my house. I was still in the woods, but I saw a streetlight in sight. I looked around and saw yet more missing person posters of me, so I tore them down and ripped them up. My priority was to find my phone and let everyone know that I was still alive. Unbeknownst to me, Slender Man was right behind me, ready to capture me once more. Just in time, I looked back and started running like a madman. It was dark, nearly midnight, so I had no idea if I was going the right way or not. I eventually reached a sidewalk where I waved my arms for a taxi. A taxi driver noticed me and pulled over. Feeling as if this was a death run, I ordered him to drive me to my home which I typed out on the GPS. He started driving and asked me why I was running like a lunatic. I told him that Slender Man tried to capture me, and he clearly knew Slender Man more than I did, as he understood. He later gave me a poster of my disappearance. I told the driver that I was the person on the poster and he was a bit shocked. We made the rest of the journey in silence, and he eventually dropped me off at home. As soon as I got home, my first priority was to let John know I was alive so I grabbed an old poster and in big letters, I wrote "IT'S ME! HELP!" on it. I knocked on his front door and he saw me from his bedroom window. He quickly ran down and we both hugged each other tears running down our faces. I told him that Slender Man was relentless now and he would do everything he could to kill me. While I had been away, John had developed some secrets. He made me follow him to his basement, where I saw a huge stun gun, and a very dangerous and sharp knife. He told me that while I was out, he decided to build a stun gun since he saw what Slender Man could do. He told me that it could disable Slender Man's teleportation for a short time, and he handed me the knife that he said would be enough to finish off Slender Man. As John was explaining this to me, I heard the sound of Slender Man breaking John's door down. He immediately teleported to us in the basement. He only said one thing to the both of us: "This was not meant to be your grave but you are welcome to it!" Then, in one swift motion, he teleported next to John, and stabbed him in the chest - John's last words were, "Send me out with a bang." He shot Slender Man, disabling the teleportation ability, and I grabbed the knife and stabbed him. Slender Man was screaming and bleeding at the same time, and he eventually blew up, much to my surprise. I quickly ran over to John who was bleeding heavily, and told him to stay with me as I called 911 for the ambulance. John was driven to the hospital and the doctors declared him dead. I broke down near his lifeless body and held his hand as a reminder of our friendship. I had a private funeral and I was allowed to say goodbye to John one last time. I was heartbroken and crying and when I said my goodbye, his tomb was buried in my backyard. I ended Slender Man with a huge cost. I would never have another friend like John again. Years passed. I was very old and was reaching the end of my life, so I went to the same hospital I had always been to, and spent my last days there. I requested to be buried right beside John when I died. My request was granted and so I was able to rest in piece with my long-time friend, knowing that we would see each other in heaven.
