Yes. But you neglected some of the cons of gauss which makes it look kinda bad : P Guass splash dmg effects the user as well at close range. Railgun can use it easily with no splash at close quarters. Railguns hardly ever miss a shot. They are like instant. Guass has a lock on time for its emp shot and it’s arcade shots travel which may miss enemy targets. However both these turrets need a nerf but railgun needs more than gauss, not the turret, it’s alts.

Guass is not exactly in the top of the list when it comes to nerfs. Hornet and railgun are. And explain to me how it gives automatic shots. It takes a lot of skill to use both at close and long range, I know that cuz I use it. But every turret needs skill to use. It’s stock railgun that needs skill to use. Rail with alts like scout(shooting like a smoky) and LCR(almost one shot light hulls) Do not. But yes, Gauss does need a nerf in splash range.

Tbh shock freeze was too op back then. Like the current compact fuel tanks alt. It did need a nerf. Not stock.

If freeze is unusable as the way you say it then there is no possible way of me obtaining good scores with it in MM and PRO battles alike. Then ditch the alt and use stock freeze. I use stock, not shock(too expensive ?) but most ppl ik say shock freeze is still very fun to use including @sharifsahaf and @coconuttree Yes it wasn’t like what it used to be but it’s not worthless. I was unhappy too but imo devs won’t do anything to freeze anytime soon. So what I did was just adapt to the situation . You’re not the only one who tested the alt as well.

The nerf was a bit harsh yes, but freeze is not unusable. It’s good. Both stock and shock freeze. It freezes the same way it used to, except in turret slow down in which circle strafing can now be done effectively to a certain extent only with light hulls : (

Freeze, wasp, rail prot. Used to be fire prot tho but since it doesn’t reduce afterburn...

Wish devs would stop putting paints like prodigy and needle into challenges. Makes those paints loose the value left in them. I think they might add something like Irbris or Inferno next. Earlier paints like Zeus, Clay, Picasso, Inferno, etc were rare and tankers with those kinda paints used to scare off other tanks ( but then again those paints had high protections : P )

I use guass and I’d say it might need a nerf in the Splash dmg range. what really needs a nerf is railgun, magnum- either their alts or whenever paired with hornet od. And also firebird. It’s burning time needs to be nerfed.
