It's not a harsh nerf actually, I tried it and still found the splash damage useful.

Imagine trying to save 150 TK to buy a single container or 3.5k crystals, it seemed a lot better just to spend them all on TK containers. At least that's what I thought xD This account : (Tankoins 1) x2, 10 double damage, 5 batteries Legend account: (Tankoins 1) x4, 10 double damage, 10 mines, 300 crystals

I'll have to pass. Interesting idea though.

Yay thank you ;D

Magnum is pretty hard to get used to at first. I made this account to try it out because I don't have it on my main. It's been a year now, and more than 83% of the total experience gained is thanks to Magnum. Very fun when you get the hang of it.

The turret you choose may have something to do with it. I like using Magnum for DM and Gauss for team battles. Recently though, I'm only using Magnum because Gauss gameplay is... just bad, imo.

Battles are about average. I'm still seeing many battles where M2 players and M0/M1 players are put together. Deathmatch is the only fun mode for me at the present time. Team battles, all of them, just aren't fun. That's about it.

I would've felt pretty good about them if I hadn't missed the tanker's day sales xd

Unpopular opinion: Players with 9500+ gear scores are likely to be bullies
Michael282 replied to Michael828 in Archive
Again, I wasn't accusing any single person of being a bully. That wasn't the purpose of this topic, it's shedding a bit of light on a phenomenon which I've seen many times. Pretty much what BuddyIV has said. Any bully you encounter is more likely to be a high GS player. Some times I've been into skirmishes myself, against lower ranked players, but I never took it too far. I never degraded them. Believe it or not, one of the reasons I got Twins m3 on my higher ranked account, other than its strength, was to join parkour maps and be the *first* Twins/Mammoth player to not pick on other players, because I presumed all were bullies. Of course that was about a year ago and I've learned a lot since then. -
2200 golds in one battle am I hearing this right Also I thought they were redesigning all turrets and hulls for a moment. Turns out they're making prime skins for them, still nice though.

Valid Allow Hornet's overdrive to reveal all enemy mines

Also I know it's a bit too late for this, but thanks Maf for marking this topic as valid. :D I don't know where this will go from here, but hopefully something could change for the better. -
Valid Allow Hornet's overdrive to reveal all enemy mines
Michael282 replied to Michael282 in Ideas and Suggestions
I see. The damage ignoring aspect of its overdrive could go for a nerf, maybe. The problem is mostly focused on Railgun though. It surely isn't. But remember that's not the main reason I want this. Player skill levels is a subjective topic, and it's up to each individual player to make use of any in-game feature. Admittedly that point I made was pretty irrelevant , it was to justify why adding such an ability won't make the overdrive more dangerous. -
Valid Allow Hornet's overdrive to reveal all enemy mines
Michael282 replied to Michael282 in Ideas and Suggestions
No I meant that unskilled players are no threat so adding a new ability won't make a big difference and they won't make full use of it. Skilled players could, but not to a great extent because of the nature of the feature itself (just showing mine locations). Hornet enables you to view all enemies and their health bars. Thus for my suggestion, revealing enemy mines is relevant only for this overdrive and not any other. And for the last time, it's not a major buff, it's just something which can potentially help every team tackle the mine problem for a brief amount of time in a battle, nothing more nothing less. -
Valid Allow Hornet's overdrive to reveal all enemy mines
Michael282 replied to Michael282 in Ideas and Suggestions
Well I guess, but that decision is up to the developers. Still, what's wrong with adding mine detection without changing anything else with the overdrive? Not every Hornet uses Railgun plus not all of them are skilled players. And like I said the effect would only last for 20 seconds and many would forget the mine locations after that. But it's good enough to at least give players a chance against them. I wouldn't have suggested this idea if maps weren't littered with these things everywhere. -
Valid Allow Hornet's overdrive to reveal all enemy mines
Michael282 replied to Michael282 in Ideas and Suggestions
Aha you got me Congo. I realized it was technically a buff, but considered it rather insignificant and more of an extra gimmick, like Dictator's freezing ability. The case you've presented has made me consider a drawback for it, probably just like you've said by only restricting it to the Hornet user and not the entire team. But I'm afraid that would make the ability rather unhelpful, because there's no way you can communicate with a mostly Russian team and try to convince them to avoid certain locations with mines. -
Valid Allow Hornet's overdrive to reveal all enemy mines
Michael282 replied to Michael282 in Ideas and Suggestions
Eh it's just a minor addition. Many players may even forget where the mines were after the OD is done. Too OP. Which is why I said I didn't want it buffed. -
Valid Allow Hornet's overdrive to reveal all enemy mines
Michael282 replied to Michael282 in Allow Hornet's overdrive to reveal all enemy mines Ideas and Suggestions
I know many people do not like this hull's OD, and I am not asking for it to be buffed, so hear with me please. In my opinion, mines were used more strategically before the addition of the saboteur drone and the mortar alteration for Magnum, which have now enabled players to quickly mine large areas of a map and hinder the progress of an entire team. Mines have almost become as effective as having an extra player on a team. Since there is a good chance any given team will have at least one Hornet (it is a pretty common hull), why not enable mine revealing to become something normal in battles, even if just for 20 seconds which is the duration of the overdrive. It could add another element of strategy in battles, by having players avoid areas heavily contaminated with mines. I do not believe this would make mines useless. New ones can always be added after the overdrive finishes. But I would like to see a way players could counter them which does not involve spending loads of crystals for a module. -
So out of all those paints obtainable from epic containers, the game gives me Moonwalker, Ancient Dragon, and Azure?? I mean Azure looks great yea, but seeing all this stuff I could've got makes me sad.

It doesn't reach one minute for me, but it's still enough to consume a notable portion of a battle's length. What's up with that?

Unpopular opinion: Players with 9500+ gear scores are likely to be bullies
Michael282 replied to Michael828 in Archive
Hey, I'd like to clear some things up, since I figured the original post was a bit ambiguous. By the word "bully" I mean those who see themselves as superior to weaker players, and who engaged before in fights against lower GS players because they knew very well they wouldn't stand a chance. They'd have a gear score approaching its upper limit, use the booster drone for easy kills, and have their friends around for protection. Some like to mine an entire parkour map to rack up hundreds of kills, without being stopped. I may have given an exaggerated estimate of 70% fitting that definition, but the fact is you're more likely to see higher GS players exhibit this behavior than lower GS players. Also on your last two points: -- Chat bullying is the weakest form of bullying. It can be tackled by simply ignoring the player, or ridiculing their attempts to tick you off. -- A player who won't help teammates, pushes them, or steals their supplies is called a mult. You can report these players for their actions. -
A kit buyer can dominate battles of the low ranks, but can't do much against higher ranked players.

I didn't find the detail they were talking about adding in the final HTML version, was it the addition of those two red and blue bars on top of the screen? But anyway nice V-Log!

I have to say that it really looks like an elephant's head... this is considered Shaft discussion.
