Sadly, that is false. I've had suicidal thoughts for a large portion of my life, but around that time I was ready to follow through with what I was thinking. If I hadn't told my friend, and if he hadn't acted on it.... I would probably be dead by now. It's been about a year since that, and since then, things have improved and started to calm down. There's still those thoughts a lot, if not all the time, but I'm taking antidepressants and plan to see therapy. On a lighter note, @At_Shin, that was an amazing poem! You should write in the AWS if you haven't already - you have a lot of potential.
