    I am little egoistic here, I refuse to leave a totally one-sided battle when at least couple of my teammates are trying hard. However I leave when I see my teammates doing stupid stuff when someone steal the flag just behind their back and flee comfortably, it is really a limit for me. Even today I left a RGB where no one seems to be interested in getting the ball or even stopping the enemy carrying the ball. I can support a very weak team but not a stupid team.

    I first tried Gauss after couple of days of it's release and truly hated it because I was using Thunder at that time and I treated it like Thunder but I was truly disappointed since it's aiming and splash mechanism is different from Thunder so I abandoned it for couple of months just after the first battle. Fast forward, I tried it again when I was using Smoky only for a good time and I subconsciously treated it like a Smoky and it worked like a charm, since then I am in love with it and can't think about any other turret. Players compare it with Thunder, Shaft and Striker, but for me it's always like a Smoky with splash damage and scope.

    You can do much better with Titan+Smoky 9/10 than with stock Siberian or Osaka. These kits can be very OP if you start to MU them at lower ranks, but if you do that you'll only be limited to them as a non-buyer. And when you cross the your bubble of OPness will burst because you'll frequently be competing against other M3s which are much stronger than you. Meanwhile with Smoky+TitanM2 with some protections can still serve you better against players at my rank and you can save enough for the real M2 combo if you want. Even with your current combo and some good protections you can do well till you get real M3s.

    In MM Battles, majority of the players don't really give a crap about your 50% OD recharge ability, most of the time players will try to snatch the Nuclear drop from you anyway (at least at my rank). But if you're lucky enough to catch the first Nuclear supply and share it with 4 to 5 members then it is surely a huge advantage IMO. In Pro-Battles with OD, it surely is a great asset for a team. I don't play other Pro-Battles except Serpohov, Kolhoz and XP/BP because they're broken anyway. If you see a Island, Hill, Ping-Pong, Boombox (or any other short map) with alterations-on then it simply means "Use Firebird with Compact Fuel tanks" otherwise you'll surely lose. If you play Noise it simply means "if there are multiple Magnums with Isidas in red team" then you're surely going to lose. If you play Polygon CP, it a mixture of both of these, either Firebird+CompactFuelTanks or Magnums and the team with most of these combos will win. I don't think even a Dictator can save you from losing if you're not using these combos in those maps.

    I mostly use Dictator in MM battles so I might be biased. It's OD is pretty good for my combo, not very OP neither UP. The freezing effect is not much of any use in most of the scenarios. Almost every other OD has counter against it but not vice versa. The 50% OD charge doesn't help me much as a user of Dictator but surely it helps my teammates, especially Titans and Vikings. My first priority for OD are the players with flag/ball, second choice it to share it with as many people as possible. Even if they reduce the OD charge ability by half and buff some other aspects a little bit I don't mind at all. One of the reasons that it's unpopular is because players desire to benefit themselves rather than other players. Also it doesn't suits everyone's playing style.
  9. It is really dangerous in certain circumstances but can be really weak in others. My Hornet is M2.3 still I don't use it in MM battles because it is too weak to play the objective of the game. Hornet gives you the chance to one-shot someone but it also comes with the side effect of being one shotted by others. If you're type of a player who loves to play the objective of the game then you'll have a hard time with Hornet. Whenever you'll try to steal the flag or ball there will be one Thunder and Smoky who will shoot you at the same time and you're done! On the other hand if you just sit in one spot and play a peek-a-boo regardless of the fact that your team is losing then it may reward you, but for me it's better to not play the game at all instead of playing like this.

    I can understand what you're saying and it's not justifiable to blame others for being in a winning faction. However, it is not karma but a blind luck. If a company offers a job where you can get 2x your basic salary if you win a lucky draw or you get nothing for a whole month of work, would you work in that company? someone may will but surely not others like me.
  12. Your assumption is incorrect here. If the score is 10-10 and then Hunter successfully stops your 3 teammates from capping the score would be 10-13 meanwhile if they cap the score will be 25-10 (assuming they don't die after capping). Even if they have 2 or 3 Hunters, your team still has a lot of chances. Also your team can have Hunters that can also cap by stunning the defenders. This is bit irrelevant, today I got 200k dmg in ASL mission (I don't like it because I love playing the objective of the game). So fast forward, I was in the game and at first I tried to cap a flag then I realized enemy team has 1 Freeze+Titan, 2 Isida+Hunters, 1 Fire+Hunter, 1 Fire+wasp, 1 Thunder+Dictator (don't remember other players if any) so they were ganging up on everyone who tried to cap. After the first failed attempt, I thought "now it's time to complete my mission" and then rest is the history, ended up with 37 kills and did nearly 120k dmg in a single battle, could have been more worse if that titan wasn't there. You may call me "noob" for not playing the objective but our team ended up winning 65-70. I indeed created easy caps for my team (everytime I sniped them, there were couple of red numbers and several white numbers appearing from their base, did quad kills 3 times). Moral of the story: There are several ways, if one didn't work for you try another. I was hopeless against these Hunters but so were they.
  13. FYI, there are multiple ODs that can take you down with your flag/ball without firing a shot.

    I am really amazed that you're not satisfied with these results. To be honest, when I first used it I also had trouble running out of juice everytime. Take some time, you'll learn when to stop or take break between the attack so you can benefit the most. And I never used M3 Rico so I am not exactly sure how much more amo it has compared to the M2.3. With MFS it's reload is slower but I can't imagine to play without it. I rarely use it now, since the DM missions are removed, but it was really fun. The most fun part was when a wasp/hornet/viking guy with melee turret approaches you desperately and you place a mine and fire at it's sides in such a way that it ends up tripping over the mine, it was really satisfying. Teammates are sometimes really annoying,, I also face this issue with Gauss, sometimes when I've done more than 90% load in sniping mode a temamte shoves me and then enemy runs away before I could finish the shot aaaagrrrrrh With Rico it was more like, you're firing at the enemy and a teammate with melee turret jumps in and finish the kill while blocking your projectiles.

    The stock M2 Rico is quite good, not very OP neither UP. However, if you MU it 3 or more steps it becomes very powerful especially in DM battles. Mine is at M2.3 since and it can take out a Hornet M2 (under 5 MUs) in just 3 quick balls on DD. Most of players prefer it with Viking but I like it better with Dictator because of it's stability you can hardly miss any shot (Titan would be a good choice as well but I like the flexibility to move easily) And if you MU it 6 times (which is not that expensive) it can even take out M3 Hornet/Wasp in 3 balls and M3 Medium hulls in just 5 quick balls with DD enabled. You shouldn't MU it more than that unless you're planning to get M3 later. I am not very good in DM battles, my highest k/d in DM would be 24kills/1death it is with Rico M2.3 and Dictator M2.3 (Map :Sandal, Alt: MFS) I just camped on 1 side of the map while placing mines on both open ends and I got lucky with steal kills, most of my kills were passive rather than fighting head-on with full-health enemies. With Rico in DM you get a lot of passive and lucky kills (e.g you try to use ricochet effect on someone and luckily you get another kill just by hitting 1 ball). Plus point, you can mess up Viking/Hornet/Wasp's aims better than smoky on Assault rounds given that you're aiming at their side (it is a constant push, unlike Smoky they can hardly retaliate back while one after another ball hits them)

    They're quite hard for the close range and splashless turrets. But very easy for the splash turrets. I got 80,000 dmg in ASL mission and i very easily finished it with Gauss just within 2 battles and without scoring much points for the team. Also, it should only be available in DM and TDM modes. Why would someone in ASL red team try to cap flags when they got a mission like this.

    Same experience, I played Rico against a Freeze and it was so hopeless. It was successful in circling me with the help of RK but I just turned around and wiped it off. Felt bad for it, a close range turret can't even compete a mid-range weapon at it's best and desireable position.

    The actual problem was not with Freeze itself, the problem was with the Product kits accessibility at low ranks that made it insane (there are some other OP things as well at low ranks but this one was specifically effecting the TJR mode). To encounter this problem they decided to rip off one turret's special ability, now Freeze won't be Freeze anymore. Not a good solution, IMHO.
  19. I don't encounter Shafts that frequently as much as Thunders and Firebirds, and I have little to no protection against these turrets. So I am more focusing to get Grizzly, Fox and Owl M2 (already have 18% Owl but more would be useful). I can't really afford Eagle after that.
  20. I don't have much experience using Magnum but I doubt it is not easy to aim with it (unless you're playing Noise Red Team). I hate being one-shotted by Shafts but I can bear it because at least I can counter it next time but with Magnums it really feels like being cheated because I can do nothing to counter it unless I'm using Magnum myself. There are only 2 things which I think are unfair and cheating. One is Firebird+CompactFuelTanks in ProBattles where supplies are off but alts are on. And Second thing is Mangum (anywhere).

    Gear Score

    Can you explain why do you think the new Gear Score system is pointless? In my opinion, the old system was very ambiguous due to the fact that it was misleading (e.g if someone had M1 Turret+Hull fully Mued it will show you around 4k GS and if someone had M1 Turret+Hull+AnimatedPaint+Skins+ShotEffect it will also show you 4k GS even if they were not fully MUed). Now you can at least make a good guess of someone's strength. I am very curious to know why do you think old system was better.

  23. So what they're supposed to do? sit there and sacrifice their life without putting up a fight? Yesterday, a Firebird+Wasp guy blindly chased me in a RGB battle when I was not even near the ball (I wasn't firing at him and avoiding any conflict). So next time I saw him I sniped him out of his life (it was Kungur RGB and after that incident I took the spot at the back of enemy base which is quite popular). This guy was so crazy at me, he chased me every single time he spawned (while drugging as much as he can) and every time I took him down without taking much damage (killed him 5 times in a row). It was really satisfying since I have little to no fire protection. So who do you think was stupid enough to start a mindless fight and dragged it further?

    I always pay focus on that area and if I see some enemy there, I silently snipe them out with my Gauss :ph34r: Shaft is easier to spot because of it's laser. Smoky is perfect for that spot since you never know where he exactly is until the victim receive 2 or 3 shots.

    It is very annoying to see massive buyers with M2s competing against M0s and M1s, they don't require any patience or skills to achieve that, just throw some bucks and M2 is ready. However, non-buyers who waste their crystals in multiple M0s and M1s and the ones who solely focus on MUing only one combo (takes a long time to wait for sales, competing daily missions regularly, not opening weekly containers, not wasting crystals on supplies or any other things), they should have difference between them. Since the players with multiple combos can change their equipment to best suit the map and enemy equipment and protections but the one-combo guy may suffer in that situation. If they'll be equal then it would be like saying "we throw your patience in garbage and make you suffer more for your patience"
