Goodness gracious I’ve been waiting more than half a decade for fog to be added

Since no one mentioned anything about graphics, I’ll eagerly ask about it @Opex-Rah Is there any chance you could make HTML5 Tanki look more like the old Flash Tanki? - Fog - It’s already present on remastered maps, can it be enabled on standard maps as well? (imo fog is the most important effect, it adds depth to maps, makes small maps appear bigger, and makes the sky look less saturated) As of February 20 2026, fog has been added to standard maps. - Soft alpha on 2D bushes – I don’t know how to explain this, but in flash the bushes had smooth edges on alpha textures, while in HTML5 they look “sharp”, but gunshot and explosion effects use soft alpha textures, could this also be applied to the 2D bushes in Classic? (After some research, I think this is called Alpha Test and Alpha Blend) - Shadows for 2D bushes - Soft Particles for 2D bushes - AO aka Deep Shadows – I know resources for developing Classic are limited, but Tanki Online also needs AO, so I guess it can be implemented for both games since they share the same engine. - Shadow under tank – In Tanki Online you already implemented decals, could those be used to draw tank shadow? Suggestion: - Darker summer bushes from 2012 – Okay, why the heck would I want slightly darker summer bushes? Well, simply because they look different, players have been playing with the same textures for the past 13 years, and a simple change like bush color would make Classic look different from Tanki Online. I also think darker bushes looks more nostalgic, I remember being so excited back in 2012 when the 1.100 update dropped.

Actually, it’s not a vlog, it’s the interview Taspens had with Hazel. He said this: "the art team told me you know after all of these three years we actually learned a lot so there will be a few skins that we will remake oh and I was like okay I have nothing to say against that because yes, you do you, you guys you know how to do stuff in art okay, all I need to do is supply you with time and money so that's what I'm doing so they can make a few more more you know cool skins"

In one of the vlogs, I believe they said that once they complete all of them, they will improve the first HD skins they made, for example the Hornet HD that came out almost half a decade ago doesn’t seem to be on par in quality compared to the newest HD skins.

Hyped for the old graphics! I hope they add a 'mip mapping' toggle in the graphics settings to make textures look pixelated, just like in the old Tanki.

Old and new XT skins can be differentiated by their icons, I think that’s enough.

Interestingly, their site is buggy. When I first logged into this site I was in Bandits, so I bought Defector offer to change my faction to Sherffis, but my faction remained the same, I'm still in Bandits. I contacted the support and they told me that I was already in Sherffis faction... So I basically wasted 1400 tankions for nothing. I just wanted a damn skin lol

It's stated in the rules: "3.2.6. The Participant has the right to change to another Faction by purchasing the «Defector» Special Offer in the Shop in the Game." My only chance to fix it seems to be contacting the support.

Does anyone have problems with changing faction? I bought Defector a few days ago and I'm still in Bandits ?

That's what I did, the name "nidzo" was taken, so I capitalized all the letters and changed the "i" to "l" and it looks the same xD
