Well, i started playing tanki at the late 2011s. The nickname I was using for the games I played was "nickge".( Nick is my name and ge are the first two letters of my surname. I know its a pretty dumb name but come on, I was 9 years old) One day, a friend of mine told me about a really cool game he found called Tanki online, so later this day I made an account named nickge2 as "nickge" was taken. 6 years later there is the option to change your nickname so I grab the chance as I could understand my nickname was ehmm.. not so good and decide to change my nickname. However I realised I could change my nickname 1 day before Rename pass appeared in the shop. So, I had to find a new nickname really fast since I was a no buyer and had to do the change with 100k crystals. Time passes and night comes without a really good thought. Suddenly I came up with an idea : It would be cool If my name was a shop paint name.(They were really popular back then). Excited, I try every paint but I got dissappointed.... Every paint name was taken. After this, I didnt have the courage to look for a nice nickname anymore so I searched for a clan ( They were pretty rare those days) to name myself the clan's tag in order to be accepted to the clan.( Ok I admit it, this idea was really dumb). I think the clan I chose had the clan tag [Whole] , so I would name myself "Whole". When I found the option to change my nickname, it was a button that I had to press which had the word "Rename" on it ,like the Rename pass now. I saw it and suddenly a really nice idea came to my mind. It would be really cool and funny if I Renamed my account and rename it "Rename". Excited once again I check if the name is available and yes, to my surprise, none had taken this nickname. Really statisfied and happy, I apply to change my name and from 16 October 2017 till now, I can see the name Rename In the upper left of my screen, over the experience bar. This is the -not so short- story about how I chose my nickname and what my nickname means. Also, yes, I have recieved many puns concerning my nickname...
