I agree Thunder is pretty UP but I do plan on getting 1-2 more turrets M4 (or near M4) before I reach Generalissimo. (Though given my rate of ranking, that might take a few years more :p)

Noticing a lot of baseless speculation here. Allow me to clear up the issue surrounding X-crystals. Being a premium currency, it can only be bought for real money. However, the only stuff which you can buy exclusively using X-crystals are XT skins, some paints, etc... That is, stuff which is purely cosmetic in nature and doesn't give any gameplay advantage. Everything else, including equipment upgrades, have to be bought using normal crystals only. Some of you are saying that TX only has graphics and bad gameplay. That might be true currently, since only the basic version of the game is up and running. However, what many features which devs have planned will provide new forms of gameplay which have never been explored in TO before. Just give it some time.

Well, personally, my attention is divided 50-50. I'm not gonna abandon TO but that won't stop me from checking out TX either... :p. As for whether TX will cause an exodus, there's too little data and too many variables. Anything is possible atm.

Very soon, playing Tanki will require a PhD degree. -_- What happened to the simple and elegant game that got me hooked in the first place? It is pretty darn obvious that you guys are trying to monetise but the rate at which this has happened in the past few months is really alarming. This is also giving rise to (baseless?) speculations that AP is trying to suck the last cents before it kills TO. Not saying such cock and bull concispiracies mean anything but it's not really good for the game. Back in 2013, while inviting new friends to Tanki, I just had to say, "It's a simple game. You kill tanks and you grow." After they got the hang of it, I just had to explain what M1/2/3 means and that was it. Now, I have to explain thousands of other things which really makes the listener say, "Meh, I'll have a look if I have time." Of course, I can't complain about a company trying to make its game better and more fun, but in that race, the game has lost its original elegance and charm. Such terms might not be tangible or mean anything on paper, but it means a lot to me as a player. Taking this latest update into consideration, I'm totally against alterations. I mean, if you had to do this, why not just give ability to every player to design their own custom turrets with whatever characteristics they like? -_-. Micro upgrades were still bearable but this is taking it too far. One can hardly strategise in a battle now. Too many variables to take into account. The only thing you can do is use brute force. 2-3-4 + M4 and there you go. Enjoy. I understand the intention behind the supply kits update, but it's very poorly timed. You don't apply salt to a wound. At the time when shop is expanding and modules and alterations coming into picture, shifting stuff to shop just seems like another monetising strategy, regardless of whether it is or not. What could have been done is remove the kits altogether and perhaps reintroduce them in shop at some point in future. When the dust would be settled. I really don't know where this game is going, but I can only hope for the best. I wouldn't be too happy to see this game die a fruitless death.

And have you considered the fact that Russian economy is way too weak? When everything is converted to dollars, an average American earns a lot more than an average Russian. I understand this issue since it's close to home. Most American players I know wouldn't mind spending 5-10$ on the game. Converted to my currency (That is, Indian Rupees) that comes out to be around 400-700 INR. My parents would never let me spend that amount on online micro transactions. I'm sure if Alternativa was a multinational corporation with millions of dollars as their turnover, they would tweak prices for individual economies so as to cater to all players fairly. But, as the case stands, some players (especially Asian and African) do end up paying a fortune. Even then, comparing our prices to Russians and calling it racism is really baseless. All businesses everywhere charge more for international trading, selling, tourism, etc as compared to local services.
