I'd like to complain about the players who don't have a profile page. I've encountered three different ones in the last month or so. Each time, I thought the player was ridiculously powerful--not invincible, just very OP--so I clicked on their profile/ratings page, to see if they were a kit buyer or something. There was actually no page for each of these three. Something seems wrong about that.

That's exactly what it sounds like they intend. It's an amazingly nasty and mean-spirited idea.

Putting Mk 1 equipment in containers is a terrible, terrible idea. Any account higher than the bottom few has the equipment that player wants, or it can be easily bought. Wasting a container on equipment the player obviously didn't want is terrible. And if your response is that Mk 1 equipment will soon no longer be in the garage, let me just say that that is an absolutely catastrophically bad idea. To make it impossible to start an account and select the equipment you want, as long as you have the money and rank, and instead force a player to go through tons of containers in hopes of getting what he wants, is totally destructive of game enjoyment. I'm not even planning on starting any new accounts (I have well over a dozen at this point), but if and when this change is instituted, I will never play again. This is a promise. Perhaps I'll sell my accounts. If I can find anybody who still wants to play this ridiculously managed game. Edit: So I just opened the 23 free containers on two of my accounts. On one of them I got eight Mk1 items, on the other I got six. Clearly they will be extremely common and will come fast. So I guess it won't take long for that stupidity to be over and done on any given account; it should only take about 40-50 containers or so. Garbage.

At the start of the second October challenge, I saw that 'healing emitters' was included, and I was excited. I've wanted that since it was introduced, for at least one of my shaft accounts if not more than one. When I started to play shaft to work on the challenge, I was shocked at the change to sniping reload time. It's a disaster and absolutely ruins shaft play. I immediately quit and didn't play for four weeks or so, but the point is, I didn't buy a battle pass. I would have, I was going to. Lately I've been playing again, mostly isida, but the account I've been playing has a shaft as a backup, for when I need a long-range turret. So I just played it a little, and d*mn it's bean ruined. The thing is, this account is up to tier 30 in the current challenge, and I was planning on getting a battle pass before it's over, to get some things, including the 'secret of the aliens' paint, which I've been lusting for for a long time and which would be perfect for this account. But I'm so angry about the shaft, and what it shows--or rather reinforces--about the developers' callous disregard for this game and idiotic choices, that I will not. I'd be willing to purchase occasionally, to enhance my enjoyment and support the game, but you've lost me. You're homogenizing everything, and worse, you're persistently shifting everything to a certain style of play that you want (because it will maximize profits), rather than what the players want.

Anywhere from 10 to 12 minutes is really good. The super-long battles recently were a drag, and the 7 minute ones are clearly too short--you're just starting to come together as a team, and it's over.

I really wish you developers would find a way to display the 'current tank' on the profile pages, now that flash is defunct. It's very annoying not being able to see that.

As things stand now, I will certainly never buy a premium account again. Luckily, as things stand now, I don't need to; I can easily get what I might want from a challenge by completing daily missions. I say "as things stand now" because the one thing Tanki is not known for is consistency. They're known for the buff/nerf cycle. I expect when they find nobody buying Premium, they will remove stars from daily missions and give us some irrational, nonsense reason for it.

Playing around in the garage, I personally thinkFire Golem and Tankoin Tank look good on the HD tank. But as an example, Alien Nebula, Chemical Reaction and Cosmic Blast look very bad, so busy they have no character

You're right about the HD skins, but can you really say Joeguy is wrong? How the hell did Alien Skin, which went front to back and looked awesome, get changed 'accidentally' to side to side, which now looks like sh!t? My currently highest ranked account has been wearing that paint since I parted with very hard-earned cash for the special shop bundle way back when. I can't wear it now. Electrohive also went front to back, or at least on a backward diagonal. Now it goes side to side. Looks dorky. Many of the animated paints don't have a 'direction,' but it is an unpleasant 'unintended' consequence that they are rendered so small that they just look like a blur and can't be made out. It is not 'understandable' that paints that looked great on my hunter two weeks ago look terrible today. Pretty soon it will be on all hulls. Any self-respecting and honorable company would make this good for its customers. Does anybody have the slightest belief that Tanki will do this? Ha! Edit: Joeguy may have been referring to the non-animated paint Inferno. On a non-HD hull the flames point backward. On the HD Hunter they now point forward. How the heck does that happen?

Correct. As of yesterday, 60 days cost $20.99, not 36.99. And 30 days cost $9.99, not 13.99. A pretty egregious 'mistake.'

I really don't like how the devs changed the movement direction of animated paints with the Humter HD. Paints used to flow from front to back, which I like; now it flows from side to side, which doesn't look nearly as good with some paints that have a linear movement.

The more I look at the Hunter HD, the more I lean toward wolverine848's opinion. It goes in the garbage can along with the Smoky HD. Within the limits of the 'tanki aesthetic,' I want gritty and badass, not cartoony and Buck Rogers. Guess I'll be looking for those other skins. Too bad they're only for mega-buyers. ? (But not looking for the XT skins. I loathe those. Way too glam, and practically no paint on display.)

Legacy skins, man. The Legacy skins for turrets look dorky, but for hulls they're great. No chrome whatsoever. Just the paint on full display. I've been wanting the Legacy hulls for a long time. But I can't buy a trillion containers, and not all the hulls have Legacies. Your comment about the car-customizer is funny and true. With the advent of the html5 version, tanki seems to be trying very hard to make everything about the game look like a cheap mobile game for grade school kids.

Well, I think the Hunter HD actually looks decent. Of course, too bad they absolutely ruined the Smoky's appearance, so my Smoky/Hunter combo still looks like a friggin bug.

Any chance you developers can come up with a new way to display the 'current tank' on an account's ratings page? It's useful sometimes, and nice always. But I can't do it any more, because Adobe recommended I uninstall Flash, as it was discontinued, and since I couldn't play tanki any more with it, I did.
