Congo to the winners. I really thought I'd win this contest.

Two easy games with Darky: And a SUPER intense GG in Desert DM. Never had a close one before. Was teaming with DJax and Flash. That second guy was so annoying, I had to turn around so hard. He was 48 and I was 45, I got a lot of kills then and won somehow.

Easy but weird Gold. I wasn't even trying tbh. DarkOp was just multing lol and it was me and Gravitate on our team. I went close to the stamp and got shot :/. So I hid when it was almost at floor and ran in so I wouldn't get shot and managed to take it. IMO it was Gravi's but whatevs. Next round DarkOp took (I let him). I feel like Admins do drop Golds now lol ...

Ranked: Top 10 Stereotypes in Tanki that Need to Die

Not always. Some people prefer to use Dictator for the height. It gives a big advantage when you use Vulcan on Dictator as opposed to Viking, as the height gives you a vast area to shoot at. No, I haven't used mouse controls, in fact a lot of people don't use it. Even with mouse controls, finding a right hiding spot is tough. -

Nope, have you tried using Shaft? It's not easy, a lot of people ONLY use Shaft as their only turret and can be very skilled. It's hard to hide the laser and survive. And for Majors, I was talking about XP/BP. -
Darky is really pro tbh. We took over once from like 4-0 in Sand to 7-6, I think.

Nope I figured out what it was. Look in the battle log, Helindu got a double, that was the Railgun tip of a dead tank that Helindu killed, the rest of tank was hidden by explosion ... look closely.

Wth is that weird thing on the M2 to your left on their username? Did you scratch out their name or something?
-
No but I hope you enjoy your stay here!

Some d3s with . First was against some noob Clan. Second was against randoms and they got rekt in both. I caught the first Gold in second battle but Bullets got second one in second battle (I was right next to it but got pushed lol)

*facepalm* Yes. If you watched WWE/NXT, you'd get the reference.
-
I'm Big Cass and I'm 7 foot tall, and you can't teach that! Anyone got the WWE reference?

Mate, what chu smokin' there? If you buy Tornado at WO5, you'll 1 shot light hulls for like 3 ranks. Pit bull is also insane and Cyclops is okay. IMO Mosquito is probably the worst M2 Kit.

Ranked: Top 10 Stereotypes in Tanki that Need to Die
marc.jp_44 replied to marc.jp_44 in Ranked: Top 10 Stereotypes in Tanki that Need to Die Writers' Corner
Ranked: 10 Stereotypes in Tanki that need to die. Today will be the dawn of a new series that I'm starting to write. It's called 'Ranked,' in here I will state my opinion on things in Tanki and rank them. Today, it's on Tanki stereotypes, enjoy! 10. All Girls who play Tanki want a Boyfriend. I don't know whether it's the increasing amount of 10 year old kids playing Tanki or just me but there are just too many little boys asking if girls need a boyfriend. I feel like it's a bit offensive, in fact, towards girls and I feel that it's even a bit sexist. That doesn't stop me, however, to unleash my inner Troll. How, you ask? Simple, find a little boy who wants a girlfriend (that shouldn't be hard, just look through EN3/4 lobby) and invite them to a Map, to help you finish your missions. It's pretty funny, actually, just start up a conversation and finish your missions at the same time! Works every time! 9. All Famous YouTubers are Pro. This has to be one of the biggest stereotypes in Tanki. For some strange reason, people just assume that because YouTubers are famous, they are Pro. For example, uses THOUSANDS of supplies in battles. I've seen first hand the amount of drugs this kid uses. I was in a Parkour battle in Rio and people followed him to the beach, of course he had all his drugs activated, too and some guy shot at him, so he ran across the whole Map, killing this guy and mining every single step he took. He doesn't seem to be able to do well without drugging. I have nothing against drugging but drugging to that extent is crazy. 8. Gold Hunters are Mults. For some strange reason, people seem to think that people who hunt for Gold Boxes and take lots of them, are mults. Take a look at 's Profile, he has almost 10 Million EXP. That takes years but he has still been able to take Golds. Take a look at @lukey0's Profile - minimal drugs, 3 Million EXP and a respectable D/L, how can you say that he's a mult? In fact, going by this week's Number 1 Gold Catcher - MLMCORE, he, also, has a good D/L, almost 9 Million EXP and used minimal drugs, considering the amount of time he's played for. 7. All Tankers who get on top of other tanks are Laggers/Hackers. It's pretty funny how people assume that because you got on top of them, you're a lagger! Sure, in some cases this is true (like this one, I'm not complaining, though, it resulted in me getting an easy 3k!) but not in all. Due to Tanki's Physics (trying to act all sciencey here), the front of Dictator can actually flip upwards, allowing you to easily get on top of Tankers, sometimes this caused by lags but not always. Viking also, sometimes does this. Another way is by using ramps or corners to jump up and on to other Tanks, like using the crate in the middle of Polygon CP, to get Golds. Whenever a Dictator gets on top of a group of Tankers and grabs the Gold, the chat is often spammed with expressions such as 'noob lagger!' 'fly-hacker,' etc. 6. People who use Dictator are all noob Gold Hunters. No, this totally not because of 's post! I feel like too many people assume that Dictator users are noobs and only get Dictator for Gold taking. Not true, at all. I bought Dictator because I wanted a sturdy M2 Hull and didn't like Viking much at the time, I also bought it for its imposing height and because I had a good discount on it. Dictators also have great pushing power. 5. All People with OP Garages are Buyers. Another annoying stereotype - people assuming that Tankers who have great garages are also buyers. This is not at all true, if you efficiently use your crystals, by buying equipment only during sales and buying kits, you could also be OP, all you need it the brains, crystals and time. People like @Contradiction is super OP, as you can see, because he won lots of Tanki Newspaper Contest, (thank God he's a Reporter know, so he can't win anymore!) he has a great Garage for his rank. Buying Kits (better yet, during Sales) can help you acquire a great Garage at low ranks. 4. Shaft-Users have no Skills. I hate that people think that people who use Shaft have no skill. It is completely incorrect. In fact, I can somewhat agree with these people back when Shafts had no lasers, it provided no balance because the Shaft was much too OP. Without a laser, Shafts have countless obstacles. One is hiding their laser, so that people don't see it and run away. It's actually very difficult to hide your laser but still have enough time to hit your enemy. Another difficulty is choosing the right hull. I, personally, hate heavy hulls on Shaft, I feel like it takes too long to get to your position and doesn't allow you to take cover or run away from a quickly approaching enemy with drugs. Shaft users have to hide from enemies, stay stealthy, observe surroundings, etc. Some Shaft users are very good, others, not so much but Shaft does require quite a substantial amount of skill to be used effectively. 3. Tanki Staff Members receive too many perks. The announcement of Tanki's best Helpers of 2015, getting Premium for a year and XT's of their choice, sparked an outrage. People were annoyed that Tanki Staff Members, who work very hard, indulge in too many perks. To name a few, @Lhamster, @Issho_Fujitora and , are extremely hard workers and deserve every last bit of their rewards. Issho works extremely hard, occupying some of the most gruelling roles, spending hours on Wiki work, Shad0w likewise. Lhamster spends hours co-ordinating all the Reporter's Articles for us to enjoy, I, first hand, know how hard it is to write an Article, even just one. It takes hours and hours of your time, hours that these people have dedicated to the greater good of Tanki. People also think that in-game Mods are paid for Bans, total and utter lies! They get minimal for the work they do but they do it for us, we should be grateful, not critical. 2. Majors are a nuisance in Gissmo XP/BP Battles. Too many people think that Majors are a dead weight. When I was Major (and Lieutenant Colonel) I entered many battles, where I was greeted by a 'noob Major' or 'out plz noob marcjp.' Majors are underrated, which can sometimes give them the advantage. Sometimes, people see a Major and immediately assume that they are noob, so won't think much of them and then are horrified by the fact that they're getting rekt by a Major. There is also significant pressure upon Majors, to perform or get grilled by harsh comments. If we do well in team battles, there's no comments but if we do badly, we're immediately bombarded by ban threats and requests to leave. It is annoying and we don't like it! Everyone was a Major at some stage, Ye all faced these problems but the issue is never solved, snobby Gissmos refuse to change their selfish ways. If they don't like Majors playing in their team, either don't join the battle or don't make the rank limits to allow Majors to play. 1. Laggers are Noobs. Ok, I confess, there is a slight bias here, considering I do lag but it isn't my fault, it's my location, living so far away from Tanki Servers. Anyways, going back to the point, I completely disagree that people who lag are noobs. Going by first hand experience, it's actually harder playing with lag, than playing without it. I have countless experiences of those 1 second lag outs, where it lags when I'm about to shoot and I miss, countless amounts of times I've been shot through walls, countless times I've missed a Gold or Supply Box, due to my Ping being bad, countless amounts of times I've been shot after I kill someone or I get killed before the other person, even though they should have been killed but my Ping caused me to die first, the list goes on. This is a stereotype that I hate a lot, people think I'm noob because I lag but truly, it's much harder for me due to my lag. Well, that's all Tankers, thank you for taking your time to read this long Article! I hope you enjoyed it, as I spent several hours on it but enjoyed writing this Article a lot! I also hope that this series can expand into a long series! Thanks!- 83 replies

Man, this is so unfair ... These topics are always meant for people who have a time close to UTC. Whilst people from Oceania are severely disadvantaged, as these quizzes come out at 4 am for us. Please stop making these quizzes that disadvantage us. We have never ... EVER got a fair go at contests. The Game was the only decent one that came out at like 9 pm for us.
