Buy a Viking Kit - Viking is a universal hull; it pairs well with any turret. Its stats and parameters are also extremely easy to adapt to. Perhaps Raiden and Paladin? Legend is not worth it - nowhere near strong enough and won't survive against M4s. You already have experience with Smoky so I'd go Paladin. Definitely your best option considering you evidently don't intend on buying a kit with a heavy hull. Heavy hulls can be useful if you're trying to preserve your DL.
