Yup, anything that can work for the branding of the channel. it can be a logo, a 2 sec slide or anything. But it should be distinctive and consistent in all the vids. My personal favorite is bell icon one and I use it in all my vids. The main reason is that there is a call to action in the intro (Pressing the bell icon). Just after using it for 3 weeks, it literally doubled my first-hour traffic (from 400-500 views an hour to 800-1.1k views an hour).

So if a guy doesn't have an intro, then one might watch 6-7 vids of a channel without realizing that all the vids were from the same channel. In another case, if you have an intro. Then people will realize that they have watched quite some vids from the same channel and if they liked the content then they are very much likely to subscribe to you. In short, intro is like branding your channel. So people know whose vids they are watching. Without an intro, the views to subscriber conversion rate decrease considerably.

There are many channels who go less than 5k views in last month. Like, Mass TO, TheHiddenEnemy, Mr.Nistaron, kilimgo and Nøderak. The thing is, it's the list of channels who followed all the rules and added their profile's forum link in the contact section of their channel. In short, these are all the eligible channels and now they will receive rewards depending on the number of views. In case they have less than 5k views, they won't receive rewards. You can check it on your Youtube Analytics. 1. Go to your Youtube Analytics - https://www.youtube.com/analytics?o=U 2. Click on the "Calendar" icon on top right corner and select this range, 1 Apr- 23rd Apr 1 Apr - 30 Apr. Or you can select "last month" from the drop-down menu. It will show you the exact number of views with a bunch of other stuff :)

In rules, it says that we need to upload new videos regularly. So this means if a channel is getting some views but has not uploaded any vids in last 7 months, then he won't get any containers, right? Just curious cause I saw @SkIlL-PaVlIToS adding his profile link in his channel info tab, but his last video was uploaded in October 2017. Either he didn't read the rules or I'm misinterpreting them. Edit: Also, how many videos per month is considered regular?

I think you got confused between monthly views and all-time views. "Youtube TO" is a monthly program and the views are counted monthly. Your channel has 45k views all-time but last month you got 9.2k views.
