    Problem solved! The client I downloaded just a few weeks ago was v 1.212.?? from 2020. Just downloaded again and this version (2.2.0) was updated last week. Works great. Thanks again for your help.

    Thanks for the effort, I really appreciate it. I did try the security settings bypass a while ago but at a certain point it felt squirrely and I backed off. Anyway, thanks again for the input and happy tanking.

    I still have this problem. I reinstalled the client several weeks ago and it won't open. I get a dialog box that says "Tanki Online .app can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information. Safari downloaded this file on November 7, 2023" I can play in Firefox but I'd much prefer to use the client.

    Dojn't know if this has anything tp do w/the new client intro, but for two days or so my turret won't respond to my controls. Not using the new client as I play on a Mac, but I wonder if the old client I'm using hs been affected by the switch. This happens about a third of the time now and the only out is to quit the battle.

    does this work with MacOS? On reflection, it obvioously won't, so will there be a new versio n for MacOS?

    Downloaded, launched got error message Apple cannot verify certificate. Deleted.
